“May was able to help out on short notice which was much appreciated. She was promot picking up Hulu for his walk and always sent update pics. We would definitely use May again.”

“We just moved to the area and are blessed to have found Beth on Rover! Beth is a loving and conscientious pet owner herself. She understands that our pets are family members. ^__^ We have Beth scheduled to come and take them on a daily walk during the work week. I can tell that they get a good long daily walk and that they are enjoying themselves! She is professional, caring, very responsive & informative with pictures and updates throughout the walks, kind, detail orientated, has amazing communication skills and all around someone we can trust with our pups and in our home. She always takes great care of the pups, gives me a full review of their walk each and every day along with pictures of my two boys. We HIGHLY recommend BETH!”

“I’m so happy I found Natalia and Miguel! They’ve been wonderful with my Gunner. He’s a very high-energy Weimaraner and can definitely be a handful at times, but they’ve been so patient, attentive, and caring with him. Communication has also been great, and I really appreciate the updates and pictures while I’m at work. It gives me peace of mind knowing Gunner is getting exercise, attention, and is being well taken care of while I’m away. Natalia has also been thoughtful about his safety and comfort and communicates with me if she notices anything or has a suggestion. Gunner is always so happy after spending time with them, and I’m very grateful to have found someone I can trust with him. I would definitely recommend Natalia and Miguel!”

“Lauren was quick to notice Riley's patch he had been scratching and took a photo for me. It was a great way to help me see what I was coming home to and how to prep for his care. AWESOME job.”
“Daniel has been super responsive and he asked great questions during the meet and greet. He definitely knows how to take care of animals. We appreciate that he took on the job to walk our dog last minute.”

“Isa did a great job with our dog, Frida. She’s reliable and communicative, and it’s clear from the pictures that all of our animals (dog and 3 cats) wanted to be around her! We recommend her for your dog and cat care needs, and we’ll definitely be rebooking her again.”

“I have a little nervous dog & she warmed up to Courtney right away :) Courtney was on time for my furbaby’s walks & got pictures/pupdates! Would def recommend :)”

“I’ve used Megan many times. She has great communication, is knowledgeable about animals and cares about your pet. I have a young puppy that she’s taken on numerous walks and she has been patient and helped him learn good habits. Megan then gives me great tips on how to continue to help my pup.”

“Raeven is clearly gifted! She is one of the good ones. She is truly a dog whisperer. My dog, Gabby, absolutely loves her like I have never seen her behave with another person save for me and my husband. It makes my heart smile. I know she is being well taken care of and super happy. Raeven is communicative, sends pics, and clearly cares about each animal like they belong to her personally.”
“Francesca was so so great with our pup who definitely takes a minute to warm up. We’re doing a bunch of walks before she stays with her in a few months and are so glad we found her!! Highly recommend and has an energy that our pup loved immediately.”

About: Hi there! Animals have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. My background includes working as a veterinary assistant, years of hands-on pet care experience and working as a K9 handler. I understand that every pet has unique needs, personalities, and routines, and I strive to provide care that keeps them comfortable, safe, and happy while you're away. I have experience with high energy, senior, special needs and more. As a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family members. I provide dependable communication, plenty of photo updates, and attentive care for dogs, cats, and other household pets. My goal is simple: to treat your pets like they're my own and give you peace of mind while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your pets! I’m so excited to share that I now have FULL TIME availability for pet care! My calendar will be up to date so reach out for any help you may need! I can do daily or weekly walks and drop ins every day with no time restraints (unless I am booked). I currently do not have room to have your pet stay in my home, however I am more than happy to come to you whether that is for a walk/playtime and mealtime or for an overnight stay! I am more than happy to bring anything with me extra you might need or not have.
About: Hi I’m Rebecca, I’m 44 and have been pet sitting for most of my life. I absolutely love it! I work from home so my schedule is very flexible to your pets needs. When my husband was in the military I was the honorary base pet sitter and it kept me busy! I have a very stubborn and beautiful bull terrier that keeps me on my toes. If I can handle her, I can handle just about any pet! I’ve raised every breed from pugs to pitbulls and even fostered for a while. Can’t wait to meet your fur babies! Since I have a flexible schedule I have tons of time to spend with your pets. They will feel loved like you never left town! I’ll take care of your babies as if they were my own. They will be safe and happy with treats (if allowed) I like to send cute pics of your pets while you’re away, that way you feel like you’re with them.
“Matt is very patient. It took a while for my pup Joey to warm up to him, but Matt was so kind and gentle with him. After a few weeks, when Matt shows up, Joey would come out of his crate all excited to see Matt. I also have a cat that usually doesn’t like people, but on many occasions, my kitty boy also went to ask for pets from Matt when he came to walk Joey. If we could have Matt could walk Joey indefinitely, we would. Thanks for being so good to my babies!”

Jessie has been an amazing dog walker for us. She is always kind, patient, reliable, and on time. She communicates very well and always keeps me updated, which gives me so much peace of mind when I’m away. I especially love the little notes Jessie leaves on the review card after each walk. I really enjoy reading them because they show how much attention and care she gives to my dog. I feel very lucky to have Jessie taking care of my dog. She is trustworthy, caring, and truly goes above and beyond. I highly recommend her!

Jessica is very professional and did great with our dog. Our dog can be nervous with new people or strangers, and Jessica's calm pressence really put him at ease. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and provided great notes quickly after the walk. Will def be going with Jessica for our future dog walking and pet sitting needs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
