I work hybrid in office 3 days a week, remainder at home. My schedule is flexible and allows me to take frequent breaks for my pets to exercise and engage with them. Due to having a senior pet, my partner and I work with our schedules to ensure no pets are left for more than 2-4 hours at a time and would apply the same schedule and care to our routine. We do prefer hosting crate trained pups only, but will accommodate pups that are well mannered if a crate is not in their regular routine. Note that we leverage baby gates and separate dogs in the house when unsupervised at any time.

I have a fenced back yard and two dogs of my own. Our front yard is not fenced, so we have a gate at our front door as an additional safety measure to prevent any escapes. We keep the house puppy proofed and do not leave dogs alone unsupervised. If small trips are needed, we leverage crate training to keep pets safe and separate and have gates to partition areas of the house to ensure a completely safe environment for all pets.

My pets are well behaved, with the youngest being the most high energy. She is still learning play boundaries, but I am very attentive and mindful of when she needs correction, as well as very experienced and understanding with general body language.

I tend to flex towards the breeds individual needs and adjust as necessary. Walks, mental stimulation such as puzzle toys, training, and fetch are multiple activities I do with my pets and others.

PLEASE READ (NEW & EXISTING CLIENTS): We are in the process of repairing and replacing sections of our fence and will have a temporary fence placed on small sections at times. If your pet is prone to escaping, bolting, or roam, please share these details so we’re able to apply additional safety measures. No pet is unsupervised in our yard at any time, but we want to ensure we mitigate any risk of the pet breaking through any temporary fencing. Additionally, we are only accepting 1-2 pets at a time to ensure we are able to provide the best possible care to your family member(s). —————- I work in the pet industry with experience in the veterinary field, pet nutrition and have extensive experience in handling pets of all sizes, breeds and temperaments. I am a patient, kind and honest person who would love the opportunity to be trusted with your pets. I live an active lifestyle and hope I can help by entertaining your pet and giving them the exercise they want and need. I own three dogs of my own who are well socialized and are 13. 12, and 3. If the pet is comfortable, I typically would bring my youngest pup on walks after proper introductions.

Danica is the BEST!
We had such an amazing experience and can’t recommend Danica enough. She took incredible care of our dogs and truly went above and beyond the whole time. We loved getting updates and photos—it made us feel totally at ease while we were away. Our dogs came home happy, calm, and clearly very loved. You can tell she genuinely cares and treats every dog like her own. We’re so grateful we found them and will 100% be booking again. Highly recommend! 🐾
We love when Danica comes to walk our young golden retriever! She brings her dog and they have a great time playing before their walk.
