“Grace has house sat for us several times to care for our dog and cat, and we truly can’t imagine leaving them with anyone else. She takes such wonderful care of them, sends thoughtful updates every day, and somehow we always come home to a house that looks even better than when we left it. We’re always thrilled when she’s available — she gives us complete peace of mind while we’re away.”

“Natalia worked with our schedule and was able to watch our high energy dog while on a trip out of the country. She had great communication and provided pictures/video daily. We would highly recommend her for all dog watching services. -Saara and Torrey”

“Chris was awesome! Our dogs took right to her and the house looked great! She was comfortable when meeting our boisterous dogs and very punctual. She also sends great pics! We will definitely continue booking with Chris!”

“Janine did a great job watching our two dogs. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about them. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in good hands, and they were happy and well cared for when we got back. We’d definitely trust Janine to watch them again and highly recommend her.”

“Stephanie was great with my two 9 month old pups. She was clear about setting expectations, rose to the occasion when one of the pups had an ‘incident’, kept them active with multiple walks in the day and did everything with enthusiasm and love.”

“Sam is a great caregiver to our cats when we're away. Really takes the stress out of leaving the babies behind thanks to her meticulous updates and communication. And we always love to see the photos she sends. She's really good about handling our cats' individual quirks and giving them the tailored attention - and playtime - they need to keep them happy and healthy.”

“Evelyn did a great job house and dog sitting for over 2 weeks, the longest we’ve had someone sit for us. She sent us pics while we were on the road and treated our home and garden with respect and care. Our 2 dogs were super calm and well adjusted when we got back. We would definitely book Evelyn again!”

“We LOVE how much Shalindra loves our dogs, and they love her! She keeps us thoroughly updated and sends plenty of pictures and videos so we know they’re doing well. She is someone who you know just adores spending time with dogs, which helps us know she’s enjoying her time with our pups, even if one of our dogs is insane haha. Highly recommend Shalindra if you want someone to truly enjoy hanging out with your pups and update you along the way.”

“Katelynn was wonderful! She took such great care of our boys while we were gone, sent regular pictures and updates, and helped us feel good about our vacation knowing our fur babies were in good hands. We would definitely book with her again!”

“Wow! Brendan was the ultimate house sitter for our pups while we were gone for a long weekend! The regular updates, the great pictures, and the multiple daily walks for the dogs. Absolutely incredible! Thank you!”

“Olivia has been Peanut's house sitter several times. Peanut enjoys her company thoroughly and the house is always left as clean or cleaner than before. It is wonderful to find someone who has good availability and a love for animals.”

About: I worked at a boarding business for about a year and a half for dogs and cats. I worked with all different sizes and breeds, and ages of dogs and cats. My job tittle including playing and cuddling with the animals, feeding the animals, cleaning where they stayed, and giving medicine to the animals that required it. I have a little more than basic knowledge of dogs and cats health and always try to stay up to date with that. I dog sit and cat sit for friends and families regularly aswell. I have always grown up around animals and if you were to ask anyone who knows me they will say I have always wanted to work with animals since I knew what a job was. I am currently a college student and am majoring in wildlife conservation, while that's not specifically a major for cats and animals I still have and will learn a lot about those species as well!! I currently don't have a job so my schedule is really open. I work out everyday usually in the mornings to early afternoons. But I have a very flexible schedule! I have a fenced backyard just under 2acres of land. So it is very spacious for bigger dogs to run around in! I am able to walk dogs for however long.
“Our pups and home were so well taken care of during our weekend away. Came home to happy, content campers. Chelsea was communicative and shared lots of photos and updates of how everyone was while we were gone. Will definitely have her pup sit for us again!”

“Tina is the best! She took wonderful care of our two dogs and two cats over Memorial Day weekend. We had a last-minute cancellation, and she came for a meet-and-greet the same day we reached out and quickly confirmed the booking, which was such a relief. She was very mindful of all of our house rules and clearly cared about our pets. Both our dogs and cats loved her, and it was obvious they were happy and comfortable in her care. She also went above and beyond by helping with little things around the house, including taking out our garbage bins. We received regular updates and came home to happy pets and a well-kept house. We would absolutely book with Tina again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

About: I’ve grown up around pets and have always been very comfortable caring for animals. I had pets throughout my childhood and also did in-home pet sitting for a neighbor for about two years until they moved away. My boyfriend also has a dog that I regularly help care for, including walks, outings, and spending time with him. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and making sure they feel safe, cared for, and comfortable while their owners are away. I currently work part-time on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so my schedule is relatively flexible and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so fitting walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins into my routine comes naturally. My availability may change in the future if I transition into full-time work, but for now I have a flexible schedule for pet sitting and drop-in care. I currently only offer pet sitting in my client’s home, as I’m not able to have pets in my own home. I work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend quality time with the pets I care for. I make sure all of their needs are met, including feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, medication if needed, and giving them attention and companionship so they feel comfortable while their owner is away.
“Elizabeth was fantastic for our holiday trip! She was incredibly communicative and offered a level of care for our anxious pup that has been unmatched by others. Highly recommend!!”

“Rachel did an absolutely amazing job watching my doggo, went above and beyond with celebrating my dog’s birthday with him while we were away, and left our house even cleaner than we left it. So excited to have her back to take care of our little guys !”

Maple Heights-Lake Desire pet parents share their Rover experiences
Natalie was fantastic with our pets! They all enjoyed spending time with her. Natalie also went above and beyond by helping us with our broken fridge during her stay. She's very communicative and provides great updates. We really enjoyed having her spend time at our house and take care of things. She's a rockstar!

Natalia went above and beyond caring for my pets and home! We actually planned our 9 day vacation around her availability we love her so much! We have 2 beagles (1 is reactive) and 1 cat. All of our pets love her and she does well handling our reactive dog! Since this trip was extra long her husband and dog stayed a few nights too and my reactive dog liked her dog a lot! A couple days before our trip, our cat had some unexpected health issues and we had to give her 2 different meds, multiple times a day and different administering methods the entire time we were away but Natalia but put our minds at ease and was up for the challenge and kept us in the loop with how our cat was doing. She truly cares about the pets she sits as if they were her own! She always sends updates with photos/videos and leaves the house cleaner than when we left. We plan to move away this summer so this is likely the last time she will be sitting for us and I almost don't want to move so we can keep her as our sitter! We will miss her so much! If you are a 'type A' pet parent like myself and have a hard time leaving your fur babies then you will not regret booking with Natalia!
