“We contacted Scotty for help with 3 weeks of coverage we needed for our dog, Jax, while we were out of the country. We scheduled a few drop-ins for her and Jax beforehand, just so they could become acquainted, and the end result was a great experience. We had asked for her house-sit as part of the arrangement, and she was very flexible, and went out of her way to accommodate Jax when he became anxious when alone during the day. She followed through on everything we had discussed and planned, taking great care of Jax and our home (even cleaning the carpets when Jax made a mess)… the house was clean and organized when we arrived home. It was my first time having anyone outside of family take care of my dogs and was a bit nervous how things would work out but once I met her I felt at ease and during my trip she sent photos and kept me updated and did everything I asked in a 4 page instruction list which is extreme but again it was my first time. About: Hey everyone! My name is Maxine, I’m a senior in college and a part-time receptionist at a local veterinary hospital. I live on a 7 acre farm with my chubby cat Teddy. I love dogs but unfortunately I don’t have the ability to care for one full-time which means I have lots of love to give to your fur babies! I work 4 days a week for 5hrs/shift. BUT my job allows me to bring the dogs I watch with me, when the situation allows for it. I like to personalize the care I give to each pet I watch. I think it’s best to avoid changing their schedules, as much as possible so I work closely with each client so that every experience is a great one.
