“Marie is so great! She’s responsive, flexible and our fur babies love her! She sends the cutest pics of them playing and having a great time. We really appreciate her!”
About: We’ve grown up loving dogs since our childhood. We’ve taken care of our own pack for the past 14+ years. We love cuddle time, playing fetch and going out on walks with our dogs. My husband works from home. Your pup will not be left alone while under our care. I work M-F, get home around 5p and get the evenings to dedicate to the pups. Daily walks can be fit into our schedule, either am or on We have a fenced dog proof backyard with plenty of space to play or relax. 2 friendly and cuddly chihuahuas + a loving friendly Husky will make sure your pup feels at home.
“Alexis, is amazing! Always on time, goes above and beyond, and our pets absolutely love her. She even sends the cutest photos that make our day. Reliable, caring, and truly wonderful — we couldn’t recommend her more!”
“Ariana is the best! She somehow made her way over in an ice storm (without freaking me out about it - I found out afterwards how bad the weather actually was that day!!)! Her commitment was so appreciated. She always sends the best pictures and keeps our social/needy kitty engaged. Came home to a happy cat, and I’m pretty sure a cleaner house LOL! Thank you Ariana, Nina 🐱 loves you!”

About: I have been taking care of all different types of pets since I was very young. I adore animals and treat them as my children! I work nights, usually Thursday - Monday. If boarding at my house, I will make sure your pet is well taken care of. I will also make sure they are comfortable before I leave for work. If you would like me to drop by your house to check in on your pets, I can do that before and after work, and on my days off. I only board one household at a time, so your pet gets my full attention in a calm, home-style environment. I have an unfenced yard, so the pets will be kept inside and walked outside on a leash. I currently own 2 cats that are very friendly and will enjoy the company. However, I can always separate them if personalities clash. If you would like a drop in at your house, we can figure out the timing and details. I love animals and will treat your pet as my own!
“Lauren was fantastic. Great communication during the booking process and throughout the entire time she looked after Riggins. He was well looked after and she spent lots of time with him. Would absolutely book Lauren again in the future.”

“As always, Isabel did a great job taking care of Chip and Theo. She was available very last minute which took a lot of stress off me for such a late request. I will continue to book her in the future.”

“We have had Jennifer a few times and she is great with our 2 guys. Lots of photos and updates and she plays with our energetic cat a lot. We know they are always well cared for when she comes over.”

About: Hi! As an owner of 3 pets myself, I completely understand the needs and care that all pets require! I have experience with dogs, cats, and even geckos. Pets are just as a part of a family as anyone is and that is the amount of attention and love that all pets deserve. I love meeting new pets and getting to know them as I would anyone. I would be lying if I said that I don't love to spoil my own pets, let alone other pets I care for! I am very responsible and energetic when it comes to doing something that I enjoy, and I enjoy making all pets feel happy, safe, and comfortable in their daily lives! I can't wait to meet your pet(s)! My schedule at the moment allows as much time as needed to properly care for your pet(s)! I am ready to care for your pet when you need it! I do not currently offer stays in my personal home as I have a dog (and cats) that does not easily get along with other dogs.

I will gladly follow all instructions left to keep your fur baby satisfied and safe while you are away during our house sittings and/or visits.

Ariana is amazing! The Boyz love her. She always takes such good care of them. Ariana always sends me updates with pictures. She's very communicative so if we have any concerns or questions she's always quick to answer. As long as the Boyz are happy and they are life is good!
Ady was such an amazing pet sitter for us and a great comfort while we were on vacation. My husband and I were very nervous to leave our 2 Great Danes and 3 cats but Ady was fantastic and allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our animals. Our baby Dane had a few potty accidents and she cleaned it up no problem, she had great communication with us, sent us lots of photos. I can tell she is passionate and enjoys her work as a pet caretaker and I know my babies really enjoyed the visits with her! I will hire Ady from now on and would recommend Ady to anyone looking for a pet caretaker that gives you confidence and peace of mind. Thank you Ady!!

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Covington stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Covington. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
