I also watch my friends cats often when they leave town, and take care of my older relatives pets when they need it! I love both cats and dogs, and I will make sure they get a lot of pets!! I'm currently living in Washington for the summer (im a student!) And so I have a lot of availability. I can pet-sit, walk dogs, or even just come and check in on your pets whenever works best for you! I have a lot of free-time while i'm here and would love to meet all of the dogs and cats I can!! About: Hi, my name is Lisa. Over the past 20 years, I helped raise six Guide dogs for Guide Dogs For The Blind. Two of my dogs have gone on to Guide people in the United States. So as you can tell I am a dog lover! I have been dog sitting for over 7 years and now and really enjoy all the people and pups I meet. I am a mother to two girls ages 10 and 12. We have a 4 year old Irish Setter/Golden Retriever named Thor and a 1.5 year old of the same breed named Rheia. Thor is an amazing pup. He is very loyal, loving and smart. He is well trained and accepting of all the dogs that we watch and he's doing a great job. Rheia is very shy but loves to play. It can just take some time to get her to relax around other dogs or people. We live off Auburn-Black Diamond road in a nice quiet neighborhood. Our house sits on a third of an acre and offers lots of room for your pets to run around in and explore. We are also next to a greenbelt. The safety of your pup is always our first priority, therefore, we take certain precautions such as baby gates to restrict access to the front door to prevent escapes and require meet and greets with every pup to ensure they will be happy at Gibson's Guest House. We do not kennel the dogs we watch unless the owner requests it. We want them to feel as comfortable as they would if they were at home. Also, our yard is fully fenced and secure. We will often go for walks around the neighborhood and take the dogs that are staying with us along. On particularly nice days we take our girls and the dogs to the parks in the area. We have a minivan so we can easily put several dogs in the car. Gibson's Guest House was named after our dog Gibson who passed away from cancer on January 16th, 2019. He was 9 years old and our dog since October 2012. He was our oldest daughter's best friend and the center of our family. We have so many great memories of him and we will be forever grateful of the time we had with him. We can offer a loving home to your dog while you are away. We take our dog everywhere and we will treat your dog the same way. Your dog will never be alone and they will be treated like part of our family. We look forward to meeting you and your pup! ***Pick up/Drop off times are 8am-9pm weekdays, 10am-9pm weekends Both my husband and I work from home or our office that is 5 minutes away in Black Diamond. Our oldest daughter is also very capable in taking care of the dogs we watch. The dogs in our care will rarely be left alone. We only watch 1 dog at a time or 2 if they are from the same family. This way, when our pup owners do a meet and greet with us, they know that the only dogs that their fur babies will be with will be our own. Safety is our primary concern. We have a large fenced yard. It is periodically inspected for any missing boards or possible escape routes. The dogs we care for will have access to the entire house and we will treat them the same as we treat our dogs.
“Ariana is a cat whisperer. Our Lacie is not social with people she doesn’t know, but she loved Ariana. I felt comfortable knowing she was well cared for. Ariana sent fun videos that made me smile. Thank you so much for everything!”

About: Hi there my name is Kelsey and I am have centered my life around the health and well being of our furry friends. I’ve spent the last 6 years working in pet insurance and have gained a lot of knowledge about how to create healthy and safe environments for our animals. My own dog turns 14 this year and people still ask me if she is a puppy because of how active and happy she is around others. I always treat every animal as if they are my own and would be honored to do so for your pet too. I’m currently working from home on my own business in the field of digital marketing and have missed being around pets in the office. My availability is based on my own schedule and can be very flexible. I have a fenced yard on over an acre of land and lots of non-harmful plants that my dogs loves to sniff around. When the dogs are outside I will be right there with them enjoying the afternoon.
Black Diamond pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sophia did an amazing job taking care of my puppy while I was away! She was incredibly communicative, provided frequent updates, and sent pictures, which gave me great peace of mind. She followed all of my instructions carefully and always kept me informed about how my puppy was doing. It was clear that she genuinely cared for him and treated him like her own. I would absolutely book with Sophia again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter! 🐾 Thank you, Sophia, for taking such great care of my puppy! 🐾

Emily is so friendly and thorough. She took notes on all my kitties details and sent us tons of photos and very detailed notes while we were gone. She made being away very worry free. I highly recommend her for any of your animal needs if you want your pets to feel taken care of by a friend.

Kristin is AMAZING. Although we always miss our two cats terribly when we’re traveling, we never have to worry about them when Kristin is watching them for us. We highly recommend her. She the first person we reach out to before planning our next trip. If Kristin isn’t available for those specific dates, we change our schedule.
