“Marie has been a total gift for our family! When my mom suddenly found herself in the hospital following a stroke I needed to quickly find someone to care for her cat until she returned home. I reached out to Marie for a meet and greet and she was able to come within a few hours. I could tell right away she would be a great fit and she agreed to help as long as was needed. It's been several weeks of twice daily visits and I know until my mom is able to return home her sweet cat is being so well cared for. We've returned home for a handful of visits and each time can tell her cat is happy and getting so much love. Marie has been amazing at doing extra things around the house as needed. We are so thankful to have found her and appreciate her being able to help as long as is needed. I know she will be used in the future when my mom is able to return to traveling. About: I worked at a boarding business for about a year and a half for dogs and cats. I worked with all different sizes and breeds, and ages of dogs and cats. My job tittle including playing and cuddling with the animals, feeding the animals, cleaning where they stayed, and giving medicine to the animals that required it. I have a little more than basic knowledge of dogs and cats health and always try to stay up to date with that. I dog sit and cat sit for friends and families regularly aswell. I have always grown up around animals and if you were to ask anyone who knows me they will say I have always wanted to work with animals since I knew what a job was. I have experience administering medications and can help reinforce training skills for younger and older animals. I currently work part time during the week. However my hours are flexible based on the frequency you need me to check in on the animal(s). I can do check ins through out the day and stay over night all nights of the week as needed. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since my family adopted our first family dog, Estella, in 2018. Since then, I've accumulated hundreds of hours of walking time, helped train Estella and our current family dog, Jade, learned to listen to their needs (when they need pets, outside time, play time, etc.), and, of course, gained experience cleaning up dozens of messes. About: Hi! I’m Stella and just finished up my freshman year at Duke University, and am currently home for the summer! I grew up with a crazy energetic yellow lab my whole life, that might speak for itself 😂. I’m also a part of Dukes Puppy Club helping raise puppies starting at 6weeks old to become service dogs! I recentlu pet sit a guide dog in training for 3 days at my house and I am super flexible with catering to your dog’s lifestyle, care needs, and schedule! I have a fenced yard with grass, I live in a neighborhood perfect for long walks, no pets currently, and I have plenty of dog supplies at home, my childhood dog passed away a few months ago so I still have large beds, leashes, toys, etc.
