About: Puppy care, elderly dog care, and working on my Red Cross pet first aid certification. I have cared for teacup small, pony-sized, large dogs, and white faced elderly dogs that need special attention. I love every dog I met and can’t wait to meet yours! I am doing school online. I can do early mornings, late nights, or if you need me to watch your pup at home. My days are open to whenever I need to drop by When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their routine, providing plenty of love, exercise, and companionship, and keeping their environment clean and safe. I follow all care instructions closely to ensure your pets are getting exactly what they need. I also give regular updates (and adorable pictures) to ensure peace of mind.

I can stop by once a day depending on my availability and what we coordinate to take care of your cat/dog. I cannot do home boarding since I have a cat at home. I can also take your dog out. About: I’ve grown up around dogs, mostly Pit Bulls, and have always been comfortable caring for and being around them. I also cared for my own dog for over a year after getting her when she was around 6 months old. She had a difficult past and had already had puppies at a very young age, so she needed extra patience, trust, and consistency. I worked with her and taught her basic commands, and she became very responsive to me. I’m currently available for pet care any day and at flexible times throughout the week. Starting August 31, I’ll be attending school Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Outside of those hours, I’ll still have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, sitting, and other pet care needs. My school schedule is consistent each day, so I’m able to plan my availability reliably around it. I treat every pet in my care like they are my own. I want them to feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owner is away. I make sure they are fed on their normal schedule, have fresh water, get their walks and exercise, and have plenty of playtime and attention. I also enjoy playing with their favorite toys and getting to know their personality and routine. I understand that some pets may take a little time to warm up to someone new, so I’m patient and let them get comfortable with me at their own pace.

“Amanda was great! Really easy to communicate with and totally sweet and caring with my babies! I was at ease being away from home, knowing my animals were being well taken care of!”

“Lora Renee took great care of our cat! He was diagnosed with Lymphoma 2 months ago and we were hesitant to leave him, but Lora Renee immediately put us at ease. We felt very comfortable having her in our home.”

“Diana did an amazing job taking care of our dog, Ginger! She's super reliable, friendly, responsive, and goes the extra mile to make sure your pet is happy and safe under her supervision. We couldn't be happier with the service and highly recommend Diana to anyone who needs someone to help with their pet while they're out of town.”

“Gianna was awesome taking care of our two dogs while we were away. She is reliable, caring and thorough. I left specific care instructions and she followed them perfectly. I will definately be booking with her in the future. Thanks!”

“Madeleine was an absolute godsend. This was our first time leaving Twinkie alone for such a long time, and we were naturally very anxious. Madeleine took care of her as if she were her own cat, and we couldn't have asked for a better sitter! She followed all of our instructions perfectly and kept us updated throughout. Twinkie is an extremely shy and anxious cat who has never been comfortable around strangers, but Madeleine was so patient and gentle that Twinkie eventually warmed up to her. Seeing Twinkie come out of hiding to greet her was something we never expected and gave us so much peace of mind. Madeleine even went above and beyond by getting a Feliway diffuser when she noticed Twinkie was experiencing separation anxiety. That level of care and thoughtfulness meant the world to us. We came home to a happy, well cared for cat and felt completely at ease knowing Twinkie was in such loving hands. We wholeheartedly recommend Madeleine to anyone looking for a compassionate, reliable, and truly exceptional pet sitter. We would absolutely book her again!”

About: I have had pets my whole life, starting with cats. I got my first dog of my very own at 25 and I have had several dogs since. I am comfortable with all breeds and am capable of basic training, though I am not a professional trainer. I love all animals and can care for most pets no matter the species. I currently work part time for myself and control my own schedule. I often have several days off a week and can do drop ins on days I don’t have prior work booked. I can do early mornings or later in the evenings as well as mid days. I will not be taking pets into my own home as I have my own dog with some dog reactivity/anxiety. We are working through it, but she needs time and space for that. Safety is always my first concern. I will always take the proper precautions to ensure pets are safe and looked after properly. I am familiar with dog behavior and body language and I want to keep them feeling safe and comfortable under my care.
“Eleena was great! I had a last minute work trip and Eleena was gracious enough to work with me on last minute requests for two weeks. My kitties loved her, even the skittish one! Will definitely request her next time.”

“Courtney was fabulous! We used her to drop in on our puppy and she was great. Maisy loved her and it gave us peace of mind to know she had some fun during a long day at home. Courtney kept in close contact with us and made sure we knew everything about her visit. Thanks!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Maple Valley
Kayla is absolutely amazing! She came over before her drop in to meet our pups and it was a great experience. This was our first time using Rover and one of our boys is VERY shy and timid with new people. Kayla did a drop in to take them potty during a long day while we were away. She took such great care of them, followed all of our detailed instructions perfectly and left us as ease knowing our boys were in good hands. We would refer Kayla to anyone looking for care in the area!

Lolita took great care of LeDoux while we were out of town! We had a wonderful meet and greet where our dog instantly welcomed Lolita into our home and Lolita asked very detailed questions about his daily routine and needs while in her care. Lolita sent thorough updates and pictures after each drop in visit. We were at ease knowing our large breed senior dog was in good hands and we were able to enjoy our trip worry free. I would definitely have Lolita care for our dog again! Thank you, Lolita!

Gianna was very helpful in a last-minute request for our 4 cats, including one who requires inhaler and medicine administration. She provided thorough updates and shared pictures of all four (even the hard to find ones). For disclosure, I am a Rover employee.

Makayla took such great care of our dog and cat while we were on vacation and we highly recommend her! It was our first time scheduling with her and we will definitely schedule with her again! She sent detailed messages of her visits and such nice photos and it gave us assurance that our animals were in good hands. We greatly appreciated her flexibility with our schedule changes and she did everything she could to make sure it worked for us. We are looking forward to scheduling her again! Thank you Makayla!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
