Availability
I currently work part time for myself and control my own schedule. I often have several days off a week and can do drop ins on days I don’t have prior work booked. I can do early mornings or later in the evenings as well as mid days.

Safety, trust & environment
I will not be taking pets into my own home as I have my own dog with some dog reactivity/anxiety. We are working through it, but she needs time and space for that. Safety is always my first concern. I will always take the proper precautions to ensure pets are safe and looked after properly. I am familiar with dog behavior and body language and I want to keep them feeling safe and comfortable under my care.
Information Michelle H. would like to know about your pet
It’s important to know if your pet requires any special care or accommodations. Are they friendly with other dogs and cats? Are they indoor/outdoor? Are they a flight risk? Leash trained? Ect.
A typical day
I love running, walking and hiking and I find most dogs do too. Fetch is great within a safe fenced yard or in a safe indoor area. Playing with toys is usually a hit and a great way to brush up commands. For cats, I like to let them decide. Pets or cuddles. Maybe some laser tag or some catnip toy? Always a clean litter box and fresh water.

Pet care experience
I have had pets my whole life, starting with cats. I got my first dog of my very own at 25 and I have had several dogs since. I am comfortable with all breeds and am capable of basic training, though I am not a professional trainer. I love all animals and can care for most pets no matter the species.

Reviews

Michelle is amazing! She is fantastic with our energetic 2-year-old pittie, Luna, and our elderly guy, Bossco. She is caring, dependable, communicative, and positive—everyone in our household looks forward to her visits. Michelle walks our dogs Monday through Friday, and it has made a huge difference in helping us juggle a busy work schedule while positively impacting our dogs’ behavior and mood. They know what time she comes every day and can’t wait to meet her at the door. From high-energy pups to slower senior dogs, Michelle gives so much love, care, and attention. We highly recommend her and are so appreciative of everything she does. She is worth every penny!

Michelle is amazing! She is so wonderful with our energetic (and strong) fur baby Pitbull Luna. Luna is so much happier since doing regular walks with Michelle. Great communication, positive attitude and goes above and beyond showing us and Luna how much she cares. Michelle has also been great and flex on using a few extra minutes to take our 14 year old pit on a walk around the cul de sac so he also feels included. So glad we found Michelle and our fur babies are over the moon.
Michelle is a great responsible dog mom. She knows how to communicate in a loving, caring way with dogs and cats. Her fur babies have always been well fed, exercised as needed and groomed.
