I got my first dogs at five years old, and fell in love! One had serious medical issues for which I learned to accommodate over the beautiful 17 years we had together. I am now 38 and have owned a mini dox for 15 years, have guinea pigs, and have fostered dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits. I love going on long walks and to the dog park. When pets are with us they are treated like people!

Hi Emily! I just wanted to send a really warm thank you for everything you’ve done for our cats and fish tanks these past two weeks. Knowing you were stopping by twice a day and keeping such a close, caring eye on things made such a difference for us while we were gone. Emily was available when we were in a pinch and it turned out to be the best possible experience for our pets. She gave our dog and cat each what they needed and created a safe comfortable environment that made them feel at home. Our pets even loved Emily’s kiddo and seems like it was mutual ☺️

I’m currently working full time from home, with a very flexible schedule. I can step away at any time and take frequent breaks throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
Boarding: We live in a 3,000 sq. Foot home with a VERY small fenced yard. Animals are given frequent potty breaks via a sliding glass door but are generally kept inside. We are not a good fit for high energy dogs that are used to living outside or on acres of property. I do try to take my high energy dogs to the dog park every day, so it is important that they be good with other dogs if they are high energy. Walking: I can walk dogs at a fast pace, and jog at a very slow pace. I cannot provide a fast long run! I was to emphasize that we have children ages 4 and 11. They are very good with our shy dogs, and generally leave them alone. They are kids though and can be rambunctious, which isn’t the best fit for everyone.
A typical day
I wake about 6:30 and will let your pet out to use the restroom. I usually get them out for a walk before 9:00. During the week they can hang out with me in my office or anywhere else in the house. Evenings the kids get back home and we will eat dinner then go to the dog park.

- Our best suited for small to medium, or extra large (lazy) breeds. Working breeds may get restless in our space, unless they are satiated by long walks. We love dogs of all ages!!
