Lover of all animals, big and small
I got my first dogs at five years old, and fell in love! One had serious medical issues for which I learned to accommodate over the beautiful 17 years we had together. I am now 38 and have owned a mini dox for 15 years, have guinea pigs, and have fostered dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits. I love going on long walks and to the dog park. When pets are with us they are treated like people!

Emily was available when we were in a pinch and it turned out to be the best possible experience for our pets. She gave our dog and cat each what they needed and created a safe comfortable environment that made them feel at home. Our pets even loved Emily’s kiddo and seems like it was mutual ☺️
Our dog was so happy to stay with Emily again. Thanks again for taking such good care of her and providing pictures and updates while we were away.

Once again Emily did a splendid job taking care of our pets and their special needs. We were very comfortable going on vacation knowing they were in good hands. She shared updates and expressed any concerns she had. When we picked them up we could clearly see how comfortable they were staying with her. She gave them the care and love they needed.
Emily took wonderful care of our dog and cat once again. They are very comfortable in her home as she provides a happy space for them to be when we need to go out of town. Highly recommend.

I’m currently working full time from home, with a very flexible schedule. I can step away at any time and take frequent breaks throughout the day.

Boarding: We live in a 3,000 sq. Foot home with a VERY small fenced yard. Animals are given frequent potty breaks via a sliding glass door but are generally kept inside. We are not a good fit for high energy dogs that are used to living outside or on acres of property. I do try to take my high energy dogs to the dog park every day, so it is important that they be good with other dogs if they are high energy. Walking: I can walk dogs at a fast pace, and jog at a very slow pace. I cannot provide a fast long run! I was to emphasize that we have children ages 4 and 11. They are very good with our shy dogs, and generally leave them alone. They are kids though and can be rambunctious, which isn’t the best fit for everyone.
Une journée type
I wake about 6:30 and will let your pet out to use the restroom. I usually get them out for a walk before 9:00. During the week they can hang out with me in my office or anywhere else in the house. Evenings the kids get back home and we will eat dinner then go to the dog park.
