After many years of feeling the void of not having any pets around we recently adopted an absolutely adorable puppy (lab retriever mix) named Hershey. I also used to dog sit for my aunt’s senior dog (Lhasa apso) everytime they needed help. About: With 5 years dog walking and 10 years of caring for my own families animals (chickens, dogs, and cats) I will treat your animals like my own. I have experience administering medications and can help reinforce training skills for younger and older animals. I currently work part time during the week. However my hours are flexible based on the frequency you need me to check in on the animal(s). I can do check ins through out the day and stay over night all nights of the week as needed. I will care for your pets like my own. I will come into your home and help your pets stick to their routine so you don’t have to worry about being away. I will send updates and pictures, so you can have peace of mind knowing your animal(s) are safe and cared for.
About: I have walked and have had overnight stays with my neighbors dogs for 6 years now. From big dogs to small dogs and even cats! I prefer no aggressive breeds(pits, shepherds, no huskies etc) I am pretty free during the week now that my daughter has started school. I am a musician also so I am out of town sometimes for shows and gigs, but I do have free time too! If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have a big yard and there are great walking trails around my house. There is also a doggy park near by. I do have an indoor/outdoor cat, but he is chill and warms up easily. If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. We help each other out! Only excepting smaller to medium sized dogs for new clients currently. I do not have a fenced yard and keep all dogs on a leash whenever I am outside. I do not do Rover pet sitting for the money, I do it to help others and because I absolute love all animals and truly enjoy being around them and caring for them, all ages and breeds! I started Rover after we took a vacation and found out firsthand how hard it is to find truly reliable people to pet sit. It was an awful experience and I wanted to change that for others. To help keep your pup comfortable and on their normal routine, I kindly ask that you: Pre-portion your dog’s food for their stay Include their usual feeding schedule Provide enough food for the entire visit Give clear, detailed instructions for any medications, if needed This helps me provide consistent, attentive care and ensures your dog feels right at home 🐶❤️ Also at drop off time I ask that you call or send me a message letting me know when you are 20 minutes away. “Alyssa jumped in while Dane was out of town and made Lobster’s stay feel like a mini vacation. Lobster came along with his buddy Ren and they were straight into dog park adventures, backyard playtime, and running around with Lady (their adora-pup) like old friends. Between hanging out with Alyssa and her two daughters and all the fun outside, the dogs were clearly living their best lives. The steady stream of happy photos made it obvious they were having a blast and being so well cared for. We live 35 mins away from Dane and Alyssa, and the distance didn't bother us because we know our pup will be in good hands. We will book again and again!”
