About: My name is Cheri and I have many years caring for and loving dogs. My first dogs were Sarge and Daisy, both black Labradors and my best friends. Since then, I have always had a dog or two by my side. My daughter and I were members of a local 4-H Dog Club for 5 years, training and competing in obedience and showmanship with our chocolate Lab. Later we became deeply involved in raising puppies for the Guide Dogs for the Blind program. Throughout my life, starting with our family dog, through the present, and well into the future, I am a committed and caring dog owner and fan of all things DOG! As a retired teacher, I have plenty of time to care for and play with your dog. I am available for doggie day care, dog walking and extended boarding. My husband Jeff and and I have Kismet, our energetic 11 year old Labrador, who has no problem sharing her place with other dogs. Our cat, raised along side Kismet is mellow and generally not concerned about other dogs. Our home and property are fully fenced so your dog will be able to explore and run around in a safe environment. We also own a large fenced lot across the street where there is plenty of room for your dog to fetch balls, frisbees or just to run and play. We're on Lake Sawyer so your dog will also have ample opportunity to swim and play in the water. Also we are lucky to have miles of hiking trails just minutes away where I can take your furry friends on daily walks in the woods. Our home has everything to ensure that your dog has a safe, love filled, and calm or adventurous experience!

“Emily was amazing! She came twice a day to look after my puppy and was absolutely great with him. She kept me updated with tons of wonderful photos and reassurance. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi, I’m Ardelia! As a lifelong pet lover, science nerd, a soccer coach, and a mom, I know that your pets aren't just animals—they are family. I understand the stress of finding someone you can trust with your "fur babies," and I am here to provide the peace of mind you need while you’re away. We have Luke, our sweet 6-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix, and Gabe, our 10-year-old cat. Our home is a pet paradise! We have a large, fully fenced yard with professional turf, perfect for zoomies and safe outdoor play. Why choose me? Medical Experience: My senior cat, Gabe, is diabetic. I am fully comfortable and experienced in administering medications and monitoring special medical needs. Total Flexibility: Life happens! Whether it’s a last-minute business trip or a change in plans, I offer a flexible cancellation policy and welcome short-notice bookings. Active Lifestyle: When I’m not coaching on the soccer field, I’m hiking the beautiful PNW trails. If your dog loves to move, they’ve found the right sitter! A "Mom’s" Perspective: I treat every guest pet with the same love, routine, and attention I give my own kids and pets. I have a flexible work from home schedule, so I have plenty of time on weekdays and weekends to care for your fur babies. I set my own schedule so I can arrange my workday appointments accordingly around your pet's needs. For overnight or day visits, I have a fenced back yard with turf and two friendly pets to keep them company in my home. I will always treat your home and your fur babies with love and respect during drop-in and walking visits. Under my care, I will give your pets my sole attention and ensure they are happy and loved while you are away.
“Kendall was reliable and prompt while we were away. She followed our directions and made sure to send us the cutest pictures of our fur babies while she was there. Our animals were happy and well taken care of while we were gone thanks to Kendall!”

“Ingrid did an amazing job! She was always on time, sent me a note and pictures, and asked questions when needed. We will look forward to having her take care of our critters again.”

“First time rover user and glad that we chose Ellyse. She followed our instructions and provided great notes after the visit. Hoping to be able to use her as a regular drop in when we can’t make it home right away!”

“Lora Renee took great care of our cat! He was diagnosed with Lymphoma 2 months ago and we were hesitant to leave him, but Lora Renee immediately put us at ease. We felt very comfortable having her in our home.”
“Esther did drop in visits in my home while I was on vacation. My dog is comfortable at home so this arrangement worked great for us. Esther came the same time two times per day and sent pictures and updates of the visit including food, water, meds and what they did together during the visit. I was finally able to enjoy my vacation because I knew Cooper was in such good hands. I came back from my trip and my dog was just as happy as when I left. I enjoyed the sign in and out feature of the app as well. I will 100% book with Esther again.”

About: I’ve had cats since I was a baby, and I was tasked with feeding them and cleaning their litter once I was old enough, and I have a few tricks up my sleeve regarding their medication. I’ve been around a variety of pets my whole life, so I’m very adaptable. I’m also welcoming of any special needs pets, seniors or otherwise! If they’re blind, deaf, paralyzed, can’t control their bladder, need wound care, you name it, I’m perfectly fine with all of it. The amount of pets doesn’t bother me either. If you need a quiet presence for your fur-babies, or one that can keep up with high-energy or high-maintenance pets, I’m your sitter! If there’s one thing I can guarantee, it’s that your fur-babies will be given a lot of love and attention under my care, even if it’s from afar. Your fur-babies needs and comfort come first, regardless of how cute they are, so if they’re wary of strangers I’ll keep my distance. Their boundaries will not be pushed, and I will do my best to not stress them unnecessarily unless I think their safety is at risk. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me and ask, I’m happy to answer! As of right now, I’m taking a summer break from college and have no active jobs that require me to go in person. So I’d say my schedule is probably one of the freest one’s you’ll see. The few responsibilities I have can be attended remotely as long as I have a working computer, but they never take more than two hours at most. Unfortunately, caring for your pets at my own home is not currently available and is incredibly unlikely to be, as I DO live with my parents and they gave a very adamant “no” to that idea. So apologies about that, however I’m more than happy to stay overnight if needed! If your fur-babies have special quirks or need special care, I’m perfectly capable of giving it as long as detailed written instructions are left. However I may ask for a visual demonstration in certain cases, but they’re not required as long as the instructions are written down. I’ll try to stay in the same general vicinity/room as your pets unless instructed otherwise or I notice the action is stressing them, or if they go into a room you don’t want me in. Otherwise, what I do will depend on your instructions to me or what your pet(s) want! Once everything has been attended to for the day and your pets have no longer wish to play, I will be chilling near your pet reading a book or on my phone. During longer stays, I may ask to bring my laptop or tablet. If it’s for more than five days, my laptop WILL be brought as there are certain things I need to attend to on or with it. Regardless of what I’m doing, I’ll always be keeping an eye on your fur-babies and drop what I’m doing if needed. If you have me stay overnight, I’ll bring my own pillow and blanket along with my overnight bag and use either the sofa or any provided sleeping arrangements. I also won’t touch anything in the fridge or pantry unless given EXPLICIT permission, and will instead order in or have my parents or a friend bring me something if I haven’t packed anything. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out and ask me!
About: I’ve loved and been obsessed with animals of all different kinds for as long as I can remember. I grew up around lots of dogs and have always felt so at home with them. I also have experience with cats, goats, horses, reptiles, amphibians, you name it! I grew up going to camps with farm animals and had friends with llamas and horses and I always enjoyed helping them. As a kid I would take care of neighbors or my friends dogs or cats when they needed it. I have a very deep love for animals and being able to turn that passion into a job has been really special for me. I run my own business from home so my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m happy to visit your pets whenever is best for you. I love taking pictures and will gladly send you video and picture updates! I love tending to each pets needs and finding what works best for them. Whether that’s playing and getting them really tired or providing them company, I want your pets to be as happy and comfortable as possible. I will treat your pet as if it were my own and hopefully I can provide you with some peace of mind while you’re away 😊 I’m available for early mornings, mid day, or evening visits. Weekdays and weekends. I have a very active life style and enjoy being outside. My love of animals and being outdoors go hand in hand and it works perfectly for me. I really love getting down and dirty and keeping your pet(s) happy and healthy I’m very adaptable to fit what works best for each pet parent. I can feed and replace water bowls, play, run around in the backyard with them, scoop poop, give medication, give love and pets, or simply just company. I can also work on training and go on walks

“Elizabeth had a quick response to our last-minute need for a drop-in while we were visiting from out of town. She already had great reviews so we felt we could trust her with our baby. She followed all of our instructions? Was very communicative, and took extra care to make sure our girl felt comfortable and safe with a new person. Leaving your baby while out of town can be super stressful when you don’t have a sitter you know, but she took the stress out of it. Thank you!”

“Courtney did a great job with our kitty gang. 5 cats in all received perfect care while we were gone. She was very timely and thoughtful in her care of the cats. We highly recommend her if you are on need of a kitty babysitter.”

About: I’m an experienced dog walker and pet sitter with a history of repeat and recurring clients. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of different sizes, personalities, and care needs through regular walks, drop-ins, and extended house sitting. I’m reliable, communicative, and treat every pet like my own — with plenty of attention, playtime, walks, cuddles, and photo updates along the way! I’m currently accepting new recurring weekday walking and drop-in clients. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate weekday walks, drop-ins, and house sitting throughout the week. I understand how important consistency and routine are for pets, especially when their owners are working or traveling. My goal is to become someone both you and your pet know, trust, and feel completely comfortable with. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my priority. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, walking routines, and any special needs. I’m attentive to each pet’s behavior and comfort level and will never force an interaction they’re uncomfortable with. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both their pet and their space with the same care and respect I would want for my own.
“Kacey was an excellent sitter for my two cats! She sent lots of photos, even of the litter boxes, so I felt confident in the level of care she provided. She never stopped trying to make friends with my aloof tortie and gave plenty of love to my social boy.”

“Our three cats loved Jennifer! They came right up to her when she first met them and started playing and being themselves immediately. While we were gone, she made sure to keep them active, fed, and gave them lots of snuggles. I like that she shared lots of photos and videos with us and provided a thoughtful write up after each visit. They all seemed in very good spirits when we got back. We definitely hope to use her again!!”

About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life! I honestly cannot remember there ever being a time I haven't had pets to care for and love on. My family currently has a Maltese mix, a Chihuahua, and two kitties who are 12 year old brothers. Our Chihuahua was recently diagnosed with Addisons Disease so I am currently learning how to help him live his best little life with his new diagnosis. I work a hybrid remote/in office schedule with a lot of flexibility. Weekends are even more flexible as those are not regular work days for me. I am happy to do multiple drop in daily visits or stay in your home to watch your sweet fur babies. Whatever works best for you!
“Tammy was prompt and took wonderful care of our cat while we were out of town. She sent us several pictures of our cat which put our minds at ease. I will definitely be booking with her when the need arises. ?”

Kristin is AMAZING. Although we always miss our two cats terribly when we’re traveling, we never have to worry about them when Kristin is watching them for us. We highly recommend her. She the first person we reach out to before planning our next trip. If Kristin isn’t available for those specific dates, we change our schedule.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
