“Mandi followed all the directions I left for her and sent many pictures of her short 30 minute visit with my pups! It was a hot day, but she still made sure they got a low key outdoor break during her time with them.”

About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover, having shared my home with both cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. This experience has given me a natural 'animal sense' and the ability to connect with pets of all temperaments—from high-energy pups to shy or senior cats. Beyond my own furry family (one friendly cat), I’m the go-to pet sitter for my friends and relatives, who trust me to maintain their routines, administer medications, and provide plenty of exercise and belly rubs. Whether your pet needs a long walk to burn off energy or a quiet companion to curl up with, I’m dedicated to making them feel safe, loved, and right at home while you're away. I’ll always treat your best friend with the same care and attention I give my own! Pet care is a priority of my daily routine. My mornings always start with a dedicated walk or active playtime to ensure dogs start their day happy and get the attention they deserve. Because I have a flexible schedule, I am able to provide consistent midday bathroom breaks and every few hours. My wife works for the school district so she is home during breaks and all summer. My evenings are reserved for more exercise/walks/fetch and plenty of one-on-one snuggles to wind down. I prioritize clear communication, sending you photo and text updates throughout the day so you never have to wonder how your best friend is doing. We live on 2.5 acres so there is a lot of room to play fetch and get lots of exercise. It’s mostly fenced so I am happy to take dogs on leashed walks if preferred. We live in a large house which dogs are welcome in and will get lots of attention from my 3 year old son. We do have a cat (Boba) which is very friendly and stays in her own room at night so dogs have the rest of the house over night.

About: I am a stay at home mom. I love dogs. Our elderly dog passed away a few months ago. I love taking walks. I have 2 boys 6 and 10. I love meeting new dogs and taking care of them. I have been dog sitting for neighbors and friends as long as I can remember. I have worked with many animals and am comfortable grooming, walking, feeding, playing with and caring for your pets. I am an energetic mom with a flexible schedule and look forward to meeting your dog! Please feel free to contact me to discuss my services. I am home full time. I have a flexible schedule. I can provide a variety of services based on need. Feeding, walking, checking in, etc. My elderly dog passed a couple months ago. I do not currently have a pet. I love meeting and caring for animals. I will spend lots of time with your pet and give them all the attention. I live in a house with a fenced back yard and a neighborhood with side walks. Very pet friendly.
“Esther did drop in visits in my home while I was on vacation. My dog is comfortable at home so this arrangement worked great for us. Esther came the same time two times per day and sent pictures and updates of the visit including food, water, meds and what they did together during the visit. I was finally able to enjoy my vacation because I knew Cooper was in such good hands. I came back from my trip and my dog was just as happy as when I left. I enjoyed the sign in and out feature of the app as well. I will 100% book with Esther again.”

“As always, Isabel did a great job taking care of Chip and Theo. She was available very last minute which took a lot of stress off me for such a late request. I will continue to book her in the future.”

“Jess has been wonderful taking care of our two big labs, Lando and Zion! Great communication and updates! Even when Zion tore up a vest (my fault as I left it too close to his crate), Jess was great and confirming his safety, communicating about the incident with us, and taking care of the issue! Definitely would book again!”
“This was my first time using Rover and having Ali take care of my cat while I was out of state was great! Ali was communicative and great with my cat! I would highly recommend hiring Ali 💯😊”

“James is a great dog sitter! He always sends many updates with pictures which makes me feel comfortable knowing Jack is in good hands. He follows instructions and he even made sure to dry Jack off after he got wet in the rain! I definitely recommend his services.”

“Krista was easy to communicate with during the entire process. She was attentive and followed the instructions and scheduled to a T. We felt very much at ease during our trip knowing we could count on her. We will definitely be booking her in our future.”

“Sophia did an amazing job taking care of my puppy while I was away! She was incredibly communicative, provided frequent updates, and sent pictures, which gave me great peace of mind. She followed all of my instructions carefully and always kept me informed about how my puppy was doing. It was clear that she genuinely cared for him and treated him like her own. I would absolutely book with Sophia again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter! 🐾 Thank you, Sophia, for taking such great care of my puppy! 🐾”

“Lauren was fantastic. Great communication during the booking process and throughout the entire time she looked after Riggins. He was well looked after and she spent lots of time with him. Would absolutely book Lauren again in the future.”
“She was great! Took photos and does great with my pup (especially with her being a large stubborn dog who is a little reactive at times). Will book again. Thanks!”

About: Hi, I’m Ardelia! As a lifelong pet lover, science nerd, a soccer coach, and a mom, I know that your pets aren't just animals—they are family. I understand the stress of finding someone you can trust with your "fur babies," and I am here to provide the peace of mind you need while you’re away. We have Luke, our sweet 6-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix, and Gabe, our 10-year-old cat. Our home is a pet paradise! We have a large, fully fenced yard with professional turf, perfect for zoomies and safe outdoor play. Why choose me? Medical Experience: My senior cat, Gabe, is diabetic. I am fully comfortable and experienced in administering medications and monitoring special medical needs. Total Flexibility: Life happens! Whether it’s a last-minute business trip or a change in plans, I offer a flexible cancellation policy and welcome short-notice bookings. Active Lifestyle: When I’m not coaching on the soccer field, I’m hiking the beautiful PNW trails. If your dog loves to move, they’ve found the right sitter! A "Mom’s" Perspective: I treat every guest pet with the same love, routine, and attention I give my own kids and pets. I have a flexible work from home schedule, so I have plenty of time on weekdays and weekends to care for your fur babies. I set my own schedule so I can arrange my workday appointments accordingly around your pet's needs. For overnight or day visits, I have a fenced back yard with turf and two friendly pets to keep them company in my home. I will always treat your home and your fur babies with love and respect during drop-in and walking visits. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Green River
This was our first time trusting Elizabeth with our kitty and our home and we were not disappointed. She came over twice prior to us leaving town to get to know Atticus. He was very happy and the house was in perfect order when we got back. Highly recommend Elizabeth.

Kilene is a joy to work with. She promptly replied to a very last-minute request for help and worked within my tight schedule to make sure my crazy kitty had plenty of exercise and companionship. She was timely, professional, respectful of all my requests, sent bunches of photos and my cat loved her! I will defiantly be asking her back!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Green River. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
