About: I worked at a kennel walking dogs for a year, going about 13 miles a day walking over a hundred dogs. along with working at a pet store for a year, I have learned many things about medications, and dog/cat food. As of now I currently work at a restaurant. I have dog sat for years for neighbors and friends, and I honestly love it! I currently own a 4 month old husky puppy, and a kitten. I am not afraid of dogs in any way, and I understand the difference between aggression and just playing. The money I earn from Rover is going toward paying for college, food and paying rent. About: I can almost read your furbabies mind! Patience and love as if they were my own is what I provide. It’s all about them and what they want to do at that particular moment. I want to make sure they eat, pee and poop. Then, I feel as though my job is complete. You have to treat them as if they are the kinds. It’s funny but true?. There should be just enough time for your fur baby to fill me in on the happenings and what’s not making them happy or maybe they’re content and just want a rub down with kind words to let them know that they are in good hands until the next visit. I love animals and they love me! I am retired but currently work part time on a farm and love nature and all animals. My schedule is flexible and I aim to please. Just let me know what works for you and your schedule. I have a fenced backyard and able to simply open the doors when my dog needs or wants to go outside. Also, he visits and plays with 2 cats that are indoor/outdoor neighbors and they are very entertaining.

About: Hi, my name is Hailey and I’m 28 years old. I am currently going to nursing school full time and I am trying to make some extra money on the side to support my family. My husband and I have had our one dog(Kota, female) for 6 years now and another dog(Ash, male) for 4 years. I also have 2 outdoor barn kitties and 8 chickens. I love to homestead, grow my own veggies and read in my spare time. We have had our dog Kota(English-setter, 11 years old) since she was a puppy and my husband and I decided to adopt Ash(boxer, 6 years old) when he was only 1 year old. He was labeled free and the previous owner could not take care of him, plus he was not trained. He had never experienced grass before so when we first got him his paws would bleed and I got the opportunity to help heal him and hone in to correct his bad behavior skills. I would dedicate 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at night to train him for a year before he started to trust me and we developed a wonderful relationship like we have with our Kota. I love all of our animal immensely and I believe that animals are not some inanimate object you have but a true companion in your life that deserves to be treated like family. I would love to care for your pet and I can provide some training while doing so in a positive reward environment. I do not believe in animal abuse or keeping animals without having dedication in creating a relationship. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile, I look forward to working with you. I have school in the mornings during the week and I have study time after that. I can work with your pet most likely afternoons and weekends as long as I’m not busy that weekend. I am flexible, it just depends on the requested times. I believe in reward training and care. I have worked with my own dogs through kennel training and rewarding good behavior. Abuse is not a form of training in my mind, I believe any animal can be trained as long as you put the time and effort into them. Doing this creates a stable and loving relationship between you and that animal.

“Alexa was excellent. She walked and played with my 70-pound 3-year-old pit mix twice a day for a week. She was thoughtful, prompt, and left detailed notes about her visits along with fun photos. My dog absolutely loves other dogs, so Alexa agreed to bring her dog for play dates on some of her visits after we had a successful meet and greet with the two dogs.
