“My cat Charlee was content and happy when I arrived home after a 5 day vacation. Anna's daily visits made all the difference in keeping my cat feeling safe, secure & loved.”

About: I can almost read your furbabies mind! Patience and love as if they were my own is what I provide. It’s all about them and what they want to do at that particular moment. I want to make sure they eat, pee and poop. Then, I feel as though my job is complete. You have to treat them as if they are the kinds. It’s funny but true?. There should be just enough time for your fur baby to fill me in on the happenings and what’s not making them happy or maybe they’re content and just want a rub down with kind words to let them know that they are in good hands until the next visit. I love animals and they love me! I am retired but currently work part time on a farm and love nature and all animals. My schedule is flexible and I aim to please. Just let me know what works for you and your schedule. I have a fenced backyard and able to simply open the doors when my dog needs or wants to go outside. Also, he visits and plays with 2 cats that are indoor/outdoor neighbors and they are very entertaining.
“Jazmyne was wonderful! We booked very last minute after realizing we needed help for our long vacation and she was very accommodating and helpful with that. Her check ins with pictures were reassuring while we were away and she did such a great job taking care of our cats. It was also our first time using Rover and she helped with the app and made the experience great. We highly recommend and intend to rebook for our next trip!”
“Taylor is a wonderful and dedicated sitter. She kept us informed each day on how our two kitties, Bella and Rudy, we doing. Sent us photos and videos which we truly appreciated. We highly recommend Taylor.”
“Ellyse made us feel so comfortable during our time away from our kitties! Her check-ins were informative and the pictures were really cute and fun, you could tell they were being well cared for. During the meet and greet she was attentive and knowledgeable about cat behavior and care. We will definitely request her for future bookings!”

“Chelsea is amazing and took wonderful care of my two kitties. They are very different cats with unique needs and she was very patient and loving towards them, as well as detail oriented. I can’t emphasize how much I appreciate her approach and care with my cats.”

“Leslie is great! She checks in on my cat when I am out of town. Making sure she gets her meds, food, and a clean litter box. I definitely recommend her to look after your pets!”

About: I had a dog when I was just a young girl, and in middle school my family adopted two cats. I have been named the cat sitter of my neighborhood, so I'm who my neighbors come to whenever they're out of town. I've even been referred to my neighbors other family members. I've mainly taken care of cats, however I have taken care of dogs as well. When I'm done feeding, watering, and cleaning litter boxes, I absolutely love playing with the cats or cuddling with them! I've also had to give my clients cats medicine at times, which can be challenging but I'm willing to do it if it means keeping your pet healthy! I am currently a Freshman student at George Fox University majoring in Business Management and Marketing. I have classes every weekday, but I'm always done by 3 pm. I am also a member of the Lacrosse team here at Fox, so I have lifts and practice a few times a week, however that is only in the early mornings and late afternoon/evening. I'd be free pretty much every weekend unless I'm home for breaks. I take care of my own cats by brushing them, sometimes shaving them, feeding them 2x a day, and giving them fresh water 1-2x a day. When taking care of my neighbors, friends, or families pets, I do the same care. I'm able to give cats medicine as well if needed.
“Alice was a lifesaver when I needed someone to watch my cat with medical issues last-minute. She made sure he got everything he needed, and helped him feel secure with me gone. I highly recommend her and will be booking again!”

“The absolute best!!! This is our second time using her and once again everything went great. My dogs really like her and we are able to trust her while we are away. We hope to use her again in the future. Thank you so much!!!”

About: Hi! I’m Jen — a lifelong animal lover with over 4 years of hands-on experience working at an animal shelter, plus many additional months caring for dogs and other animals on a small farm property. If there’s one thing I truly understand, it’s dogs. Especially the shy, anxious, and misunderstood ones. They hold a very special place in my heart! There is no greater feeling than earning the trust of a dog who needs a little extra patience and understanding. At the shelter I worked with every type of dog imaginable, from easygoing family pups to dogs with more complex needs due to past trauma. I was trusted to walk and handle even the more anxious or sensitive dogs, helping them build confidence and learn to trust new people. I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and adjusting my approach so each dog feels safe, respected, and understood. One of the dogs I worked closely with, Donald, needed a trusted handler present while new volunteers learned how to walk him safely, and I helped train others so he could get the exercise and enrichment he deserved. I also helped start enrichment initiatives at the shelter, including treat puzzles, mental stimulation games, and a “dog play buddy” program to give the dogs additional socialization and activity. One of my most special experiences there was helping care for a mama dog who gave birth to a litter of 10 (10!) puppies. I helped care for and socialize those puppies as they grew until they were ready for their forever homes. I also have experience caring for senior animals and understand that older pets often need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention to their comfort and routine. Beyond dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and bunnies. Over the past few months I’ve helped care for my landlady’s 1yo kitty, and I’m very comfortable providing drop-in care and pet sitting for cats and small animals as well. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting/boarding and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, comfort level, and body language so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: every animal I care for should feel safe, so very loved, and understood. Pet care is my primary focus, so my daily routine is built around providing consistent, hands-on care. I structure my day to include regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, exercise, enrichment, and downtime, depending on each pet’s needs. I’m home for the majority of the day, which allows me to provide a high level of supervision and attention. Pets are rarely left alone for extended periods, and I’m able to adjust my schedule to support different energy levels, routines, and personalities. Whether a dog needs more activity and engagement or a calm, low-stress environment, I’m able to tailor my day to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I care for every pet based on who they are — not just a one-size-fits-all routine. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and comfort cues so pets feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. In my home, dogs stay on a fully fenced 10-acre farm property where they can safely explore, play, and decompress. All outdoor time is supervised, and I’m intentional about creating a balanced environment — active play for dogs who love it, and plenty of quiet downtime for those who don’t. I have a friendly Mini Goldendoodle and a very mellow senior pup in the home, and I take introductions slowly and thoughtfully. I’m always prepared to separate or crate dogs if needed to keep everyone comfortable and safe. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to your routines and preferences so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I keep things calm, consistent, and predictable, which is especially important for anxious or sensitive animals. I’m very comfortable with a wide range of personalities, including dogs who need a little extra patience or structure, and I pride myself on creating an environment where pets can relax and just be themselves.
About: Hi! I’m an 19-year-old animal lover who’s grown up around pets and truly enjoys caring for them. I’m responsible, patient, and dedicated to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or quiet company, I’m happy to support your pet’s routine and give them my full attention. I’m committed to communication, reliability, and treating your pets like family. My schedule is based around my college classes. Starting in September, I will be a freshman at PLU, and I plan my availability thoughtfully to make sure I can provide reliable, attentive care. I truly enjoy pet sitting, so I do my best to create time for it and keep my availability updated. If you ever have questions about specific dates or times, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to work with you when I can! Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I’m attentive to animal body language and pride myself on being able to understand how a dog or cat is feeling. This helps me create a calm, reassuring environment for every pet I care for. I approach all animals with patience, respect, and gentleness, and I will never force a situation that could make a pet feel uncomfortable or afraid. My goal is to ensure every pet feels secure, understood, and well cared for.
“Rachel was timely and friendly and took great care to make sure our dog was fed and had water and got to spend some time outside. We appreciated her willingness to be flexible with us when our plans changed a bit. We would definitely ask her to take of our dog again in the future.”

About: My experience that sets me apart is I’ve never lived with less than 3 kinds of pets. Right now I currently live with 5 cats 2 dogs and a bunny and I love all of my animals so so much. I’m currently working part time and have a lot of extra free time! I just moved back to Bonney lake and I would love to keep myself occupied and what better way then with animals! In someone else’s home I’m very respectful especially about following the rules when it comes to pet care. I can stop by and let them potty and feed them then be on my way or I can stay and keep them company for however long you need.
About: Hi, my name is Hailey and I’m 28 years old. I am currently going to nursing school full time and I am trying to make some extra money on the side to support my family. My husband and I have had our one dog(Kota, female) for 6 years now and another dog(Ash, male) for 4 years. I also have 2 outdoor barn kitties and 8 chickens. I love to homestead, grow my own veggies and read in my spare time. We have had our dog Kota(English-setter, 11 years old) since she was a puppy and my husband and I decided to adopt Ash(boxer, 6 years old) when he was only 1 year old. He was labeled free and the previous owner could not take care of him, plus he was not trained. He had never experienced grass before so when we first got him his paws would bleed and I got the opportunity to help heal him and hone in to correct his bad behavior skills. I would dedicate 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at night to train him for a year before he started to trust me and we developed a wonderful relationship like we have with our Kota. I love all of our animal immensely and I believe that animals are not some inanimate object you have but a true companion in your life that deserves to be treated like family. I would love to care for your pet and I can provide some training while doing so in a positive reward environment. I do not believe in animal abuse or keeping animals without having dedication in creating a relationship. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile, I look forward to working with you. I have school in the mornings during the week and I have study time after that. I can work with your pet most likely afternoons and weekends as long as I’m not busy that weekend. I am flexible, it just depends on the requested times. I believe in reward training and care. I have worked with my own dogs through kennel training and rewarding good behavior. Abuse is not a form of training in my mind, I believe any animal can be trained as long as you put the time and effort into them. Doing this creates a stable and loving relationship between you and that animal.
“It was awesome knowing that our pets were being cared for. We didn’t worry a bit. Andrhu immediately made us feel comfortable leaving. He went above and beyond. I strongly recommend Andru to everyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter.”

Sandra is amazing! She took such great care of Kitty and Bruno again while I was away—making sure they were fed, loved, and that Kitty got her meds without a hitch. She even looked after the squirrels and birds. With twice-daily check-ins for a week, I felt completely at ease the entire time. I came home to happy, well-cared-for pets. I truly can’t recommend her enough—she’s reliable, thoughtful, and always goes above and beyond!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
