About: I have been working with/training dogs & training horses for over 20 years now. Working with animals is always something that has come natural to me & I can't imagine doing anything else. I currently have the most amazing 2 year old Belgium Malinois/GSD. (River) She has taught me so much about life this last year. I've known him since birth & River has been helping me raise him since he was 9 weeks old. He's been the perfect addition to our pack. We have had our dog Kota(English-setter, 11 years old) since she was a puppy and my husband and I decided to adopt Ash(boxer, 6 years old) when he was only 1 year old. He was labeled free and the previous owner could not take care of him, plus he was not trained. He had never experienced grass before so when we first got him his paws would bleed and I got the opportunity to help heal him and hone in to correct his bad behavior skills. I would dedicate 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at night to train him for a year before he started to trust me and we developed a wonderful relationship like we have with our Kota. I love all of our animal immensely and I believe that animals are not some inanimate object you have but a true companion in your life that deserves to be treated like family. I would love to care for your pet and I can provide some training while doing so in a positive reward environment. About: I have grown up with cats and dogs, and am familiar with many other kinds of animals. I have sat for non-family/friends and well as them included many times before! I have managed taking care of 5+ pets at once, given proper meds, care, playtime, etc. This experience ranges from kittens/puppies just a few days old, to older aged animals. I work “full time” but I work around 30 hours and I have a lot of split shifts so time before or after to check-in with the pets. This looks like morning feed, going outside, if any meds or vitamins need to be taken or same with after depending on the time of day needed. Depending on circumstances of boundaries and rules of each pet, I easily find a solution and adapt if needed. I will watch your dog/cat outside or on a leash front or back of yard. If there are off-limit areas inside our outside those will be closed doors or if there’s a gate it will be put up per clients request. If there needs to be check-ins with owner that be applicable, I am attentive to my phone, when and if necessary.

Which is the first time I began to realize this was something I was not only good at but that I LOVED to do. I spent years studying & learning about how dogs learn, behave & interact with each other. I wanted to understand them more. (Their pack instincts & such) All of this research has helped me understand how to teach many different kinds of dogs in all kinds of areas. Training dogs is what I do for a living right now & i work with my own dogs every day and keep them well trained, behaved and ready for any dog friends to come visit. I'm available pretty much 7 days a week. (Give or take) Caring for pets is just something I've always done & I can't imagine myself doing anything else. I have a HUGE fully fenced in back yard. I have an 12 year old amazing boxer/lab who helped train & teach my Malinois how to be a good canine citizen & now they are both continuing to teach my Corso how to be a canine gentleman. So now I have some amazing dogs who do a really good job of welcoming any dog into their home and making them feel right at home.
