About: **Meet and Greet Required for all New Clients** I am certified graduate from Animal Behavior College with over 15 years of experience caring and training dogs. I own Awakening Companionship, a positive reinforcement training business. Having worked professionally and personally with a variety of dog ages, breeds and personalities, I understand the importance of personalized pet care! I currently work from home as a graphic designer, except for one or two days a week subbing at SBL School District or when I see dog training clients. I do have two cats and three senior dogs, so staying close to home for their needs would align with any pet I am caring for. *New Clients must be crated trained!* This is to ensure safety around my other pets during feedings and sleeping/naps. For the safety of you fur- family, I ask that they are comfortable in kennels* I have a fully fenced shady back yard, two loving kids and three sleepy senior dogs to keep your fur baby company during their stay. There is ample space to play, train and explore! Exercise and mental play are important to a happy pet, so whether at your house or mine, we make sure to pack in the fun!

I’m Jen — a lifelong animal lover with over 4 years of hands-on experience working at an animal shelter, plus many additional months caring for dogs and other animals on a small farm property. If there’s one thing I truly understand, it’s dogs. Especially the shy, anxious, and misunderstood ones. They hold a very special place in my heart! There is no greater feeling than earning the trust of a dog who needs a little extra patience and understanding. At the shelter I worked with every type of dog imaginable, from easygoing family pups to dogs with more complex needs due to past trauma. I was trusted to walk and handle even the more anxious or sensitive dogs, helping them build confidence and learn to trust new people. I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and adjusting my approach so each dog feels safe, respected, and understood. One of the dogs I worked closely with, Donald, needed a trusted handler present while new volunteers learned how to walk him safely, and I helped train others so he could get the exercise and enrichment he deserved. I also helped start enrichment initiatives at the shelter, including treat puzzles, mental stimulation games, and a “dog play buddy” program to give the dogs additional socialization and activity. One of my most special experiences there was helping care for a mama dog who gave birth to a litter of 10 (10!) puppies. I helped care for and socialize those puppies as they grew until they were ready for their forever homes. I also have experience caring for senior animals and understand that older pets often need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention to their comfort and routine. Beyond dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and bunnies. Over the past few months I’ve helped care for my landlady’s 1yo kitty, and I’m very comfortable providing drop-in care and pet sitting for cats and small animals as well. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting/boarding and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, comfort level, and body language so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: every animal I care for should feel safe, so very loved, and understood. Pet care is my primary focus, so my daily routine is built around providing consistent, hands-on care. I structure my day to include regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, exercise, enrichment, and downtime, depending on each pet’s needs. I’m home for the majority of the day, which allows me to provide a high level of supervision and attention. Pets are rarely left alone for extended periods, and I’m able to adjust my schedule to support different energy levels, routines, and personalities. Whether a dog needs more activity and engagement or a calm, low-stress environment, I’m able to tailor my day to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I care for every pet based on who they are — not just a one-size-fits-all routine. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and comfort cues so pets feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. In my home, dogs stay on a fully fenced 10-acre farm property where they can safely explore, play, and decompress. All outdoor time is supervised, and I’m intentional about creating a balanced environment — active play for dogs who love it, and plenty of quiet downtime for those who don’t. I have a friendly Mini Goldendoodle and a very mellow senior pup in the home, and I take introductions slowly and thoughtfully. I’m always prepared to separate or crate dogs if needed to keep everyone comfortable and safe. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to your routines and preferences so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I keep things calm, consistent, and predictable, which is especially important for anxious or sensitive animals. I’m very comfortable with a wide range of personalities, including dogs who need a little extra patience or structure, and I pride myself on creating an environment where pets can relax and just be themselves.

I'm pretty much a home body. Animals r my life My days and nights are free. I am retired and live alone Cats r indoor only. Dogs on leashes whenever they go out (one at a time). When answering the door, I put them in my sewing room or in a kennel.

Daily activity is a priority here—we’ll enjoy plenty of playtime in the yard along with one or two walks, depending on your dog’s needs and energy level. To help keep your pup comfortable and on their normal routine, I kindly ask that you: Pre-portion your dog’s food for their stay Include their usual feeding schedule Provide enough food for the entire visit Give clear, detailed instructions for any medications, if needed This helps me provide consistent, attentive care and ensures your dog feels right at home 🐶❤️ Also at drop off time I ask that you call or send me a message letting me know when you are 20 minutes away. When you arrive I will meet you and your fur baby on the front porch and I will take over care from there after you say good bye.

About: I'm a huge dog lover who has experience caring for old dogs as well as those youngsters! I believe the importance of getting your dogs outside is crucial for their health, happiness and longevity! I am available pretty much all day with some exceptions here and there. I work part-time evenings where my hours vary a bit, but only gone for 5 hour windows in the evenings. I have a good sized yard that’s fully fenced, so your dog can enjoy the fresh air, roll around in grass and relax on the deck.
