Welcome to Pasture & Paw! 🐾 Hi! I’m Makenzie, the owner of Pasture & Paw. Dogs have been my passion for years, and I believe every dog deserves patient, consistent care in a safe and enriching environment. Unlike a traditional boarding facility, I offer a calm farm setting where your dog is treated like family. Whether they’re here for boarding, daycare, or training, each dog receives personalized attention, structured routines, plenty of exercise, and lots of love. I have experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior dogs and high-drive working breeds. Safety is always my top priority, and I take the time to learn each dog’s individual needs, routines, and personality. While our guests enjoy supervised social time with compatible dogs, every dog also receives dedicated one-on-one care tailored to their unique personality, energy level, and needs. ☀️ Morning Routine Each day begins with individual potty breaks, wellness checks, fresh water, and breakfast according to your dog’s normal routine. After breakfast, dogs have time to stretch their legs, explore, and settle into the day. 🌿 Enrichment & Adventure Throughout the day, dogs rotate through carefully supervised activities that may include: * Outdoor play with compatible companions * Nature walks around the property * Sniff adventures * Confidence-building activities * Puzzle toys and mental enrichment * Seasonal water play * Farm sights and sounds in a safe, controlled environment Every activity is tailored to your dog’s comfort level and personality. ❤️ Personalized One-on-One Time Every guest enjoys dedicated individual attention every day. This special time is customized for your dog and may include: * Walks * Fetch or favorite games * Basic training reinforcement * Brushing and grooming * Belly rubs and cuddles * Confidence-building exercises * Quiet bonding time Whether your dog loves to stay active or simply enjoys relaxing with people, we make sure they receive the attention they deserve. 😴 Rest & Relaxation Between activities, dogs enjoy quiet time in their private suite to rest, recharge, and enjoy enrichment toys or a peaceful nap. Regular downtime helps keep dogs happy, comfortable, and stress-free. 🌅 Evening Wind-Down As the day comes to a close, dogs enjoy another opportunity for outdoor exercise, socialization, or one-on-one interaction before dinner. After their evening routine, they settle into a calm, relaxing environment with fresh water, cozy accommodations, and one final potty break before bedtime. At Pasture & Paw, I’ve created a calm, structured environment where every guest is treated like family and cared for with patience, compassion, and respect. I carefully manage every dog’s experience by getting to know their personality, energy level, and individual needs. Dogs are never placed into group play without thoughtful consideration, and all interactions are closely supervised to ensure a safe and positive experience. Each guest enjoys a clean, comfortable private suite with fresh water, cozy bedding, and regular cleaning throughout the day. My facility is designed to reduce stress while providing plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and rest. To help keep everyone healthy and safe, I ask that all boarding guests: * Be current on age-appropriate vaccinations. * Be on a flea and tick prevention program. * Arrive healthy and free of contagious illness. * Have any medications or special care instructions clearly provided.
