“When April first started sitting for us we had two cats. Now, courtesy of the bountiful cat distribution system, we have five. Our most recent addition was still being separated when valentines weekend rolled around and we needed a sitter. April was fantastic with all five of our fur babies, including feeding and playing with Thomas, who was separated from the others. The boxes were scooped, wet food distributed, and cats played with. We couldn’t ask for more. April is great!”

“Lindsay takes good care of our cat while we’re away for long. She shows care and patience to our cat and build trust. She also helped take care when our cat had to use carpet when litterrobot failed.”

About: I've basically been taking care of dogs all my life! I can't even count how many I've had in my life. More recently, I've taken on fostering, accommodating dogs with health issues, which I've been doing for ten years or so. I have two frenchies I take care of at home, one that's basically a large, lazy cat, and another that's small and rambunctious. I also walk and dogsit twice a week for a friend of mine who doesn't have the ability to do so frequently. I give them attention when they're needy, dry them off after a walk if it's raining, or snuggle up with them if they're feeling a little more cuddly.
“Would highly recommend Chase to cat sit for us again in the future! She gave us daily updates with pictures of our cats which gave us peace of mind that our cats were happy and in good hands. Thanks for taking care of Bowser and Luna for us.”

“First time leaving my senior dog alone for a week. We decided to try a sitter on Rover, and we are happy with our dog and with the care that Jessie V. put into caring for Sammi, and for the house. At 15 years old, Sammi has messes, and I am grateful for Jessie's care in caring for Sammi, and for the condition of the carpet and floors. When we saw Sammi after being away for a week, he seemed happy, well-fed, and the room smelled clean. Thanks, Jessie!”

About: I currently have 2 dogs and 3 chickens for 5 years and counting. I had three cats for about 10 years. Growing up I had dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters. Weekdays I'm available after work at 3pm. I'm available some weekend days for the whole day, and sometimes I have weekdays off and I'm available the whole day. My house has a fully fenced in backyard. Also a Greenway trail right behind us, and a park that is a 3 minute walk away.
“I can’t recommend Karly enough, she did an amazing job caring for our 150lbs mastiff. She was very communicative and provided lots of updates and photos. She clearly gave my pup lots of attention. I will definitely continue to rebook with her.”

“Would totally recommend Daisy. She's quick to respond and came over during the meet and greet to make sure she understood what our cats needed. During our trip, Daisy helped us clean the cat litter and refill water. She also sent us pictures of the cats when she came over. Her photos and messages helped us be at ease when we were traveling since she was able to find our hidden cats. Definitely will ask her to help us out next time we are gone as well.”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and loved taking care of them, and taking care of friends and family members legs while they are away. At any social gathering, you can find me snuggled up with the dog or cat, or talking to the bird or fish. I have a strong passion for taking care of animals and catering to their specific needs. I’m available before 7 am and after 6 pm on weekdays! Weekends are more open. I am full time employed Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm which can make it difficult to pay your furry friend a visit outside of weekends. I would still love to before 8 and after 5 if that’s flexible with you! I work out of Redmond and live in Renton. I have cared for dogs that require medications as well as my own kitty that has had special needs in the past. I will try my best to make sure your pet is as comfy as can be while you’re away!
“Ellyanna is great! My animals (2 dogs, 1 cat) love when she visits so I can leave for a few days with peace of mind. She leaves detailed write ups of her visits and adapts well to my dog's quirky behavior.”

“I always know my pets will be cared for when we book Natalia. This was our first drop-in visit with her and it went great. I was confused on the booking process and she was helpful and accommodating. My pets all love her!”

About: We have been caring for dogs for many years. Starting from puppies to full grown dogs over the years and know how to understand what a dog needs for a healthy, happy, and full life. Aharon works from home most of the time. With just one dog at home it would be easy to add another. It’s easy to add another to the pack! We take our dogs outside for exercise twice a day and have play sessions in between. We have 1200 sqft of interior space for the dogs to play and chill with a fenced backyard. There’s also a dog park almost right in our backyard where we go to all the time. The area is residential and lots of families around that know us.

Morgan is awesome, she took great care of our cat while we were on vacation. I appreciated the photos, and that Willie was willing to come out and pose for them. He’s usually shy with people he doesn’t know, but warmed up to Morgan no problem! I had peace of mind that he was well cared for. Thank you Morgan!! 🙏💕
Grace is amazing! She went above and beyond for all my pets, both furry and scaly while I was gone. She gave great updates and I slept well thousands of miles away knowing that all my babies were being attended to with attention and care. I highly recommend her for all your pet-sitting needs.

Maya was wonderful. She was really nice and easy to talk to when we did the meet and greet. We needed to find someone on short notice since the person we used in the past was no longer on here. So we were happy that she was available and lived close to us. She did a great job and made our two kitties feel comfortable while we were away for the weekend. I would book her again for any future trips we may have.

🐾 **Five Stars for Natalia’s Exceptional Cat Care!** Natalia took amazing care of my cats, treating them like her own. Her daily reports were detailed and reassuring, keeping me completely in the loop. What truly impressed me was her problem-solving mindset—any small issue that came up, she handled with calm and care, always finding a solution so I never had to worry. It gave me such peace of mind knowing my fur babies were in such capable and loving hands. Highly recommend her to anyone who wants their pets well looked after!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
