About: I’ve loved cats since I was little and have always felt very comfortable around them. For the past 6 years, I’ve helped care for cats belonging to neighbors, friends, and family by feeding them, cleaning litter boxes, playing with them, and keeping them company. I’ve also always cared a lot about stray cats. If I saw a stray cat that looked hungry or slightly injured, I would try to help by giving them food and water and making sure they were okay. 🐱💕 I currently have a cat of my own, so I’m very familiar with daily cat care and different cat personalities. I’m patient and gentle, especially with shy or independent cats, and I always follow each cat’s normal routine and special care instructions. I’m also happy to send photo and video updates while you’re away! 📸🐾

About: Pets have been my life ever since I was five years old. I wasn't a caretaker at that age, but I've fostered a close connection and understanding towards pets ever since. As I got older, my responsibilities grew in kind, and I became much more involved in the day-to-day care of dogs and cats. I've been fortunate to be a part of six dogs lives, and each have brought different temperaments, attitudes, and energy levels. Four of the six were rescues, so I understand the patience and attentiveness needed to properly address their needs and quirks. I also helped raise a 10 week old puppy into adulthood, so I am very familiar with what it takes to handle the stubbornness and energy of a young pup. While it's been some time since my cat has passed away, I likewise share a similar understanding to their needs and socialization. It requires a different approach than a dog but I am happy to adapt to the pet at hand and ensure they receive the best care possible. I have returned from a term of service abroad in the Peace Corps, and am currently searching for employment as I settle back in the states. I will be living in Washington for the time being before I set off to grad school. As such, my schedule is fairly open for dog walking and check-ins. Some of my fondest memories abroad was walking around the countryside in my spare time, so I'm excited to continue that here with some new friends! I will ensure that the pets' needs are addressed in full with the client before I take on the service, and adhere to the directions advised. I cannot currently board pets at my home, but I am happy to check in on pets whilst abiding by the rules of my client's homes.

About: I’ve grown up caring for animals of all kinds, including large-breed dogs, cats, chickens, and horses. I have especially extensive experience with large dogs and senior pets. I recently lost my Doberman Pinscher at nearly 15 years old, and we currently have a 14-year-old Siberian Husky. As a stay at home mom, I have a flexible daytime schedule and am home much of the day. My routine mainly revolves around school drop-offs, pick-ups, and after-school activities, which leaves me largely available during the morning and early afternoon when many pet owners are away at work. This gives me plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, playtime, feeding, and pets who need a little extra attention throughout the day. I’ve spent my life around animals and understand that every pet has different boundaries, routines, and comfort levels. I’m comfortable with large breeds, senior dogs, crates, mobility needs, and pets requiring extra care. Our home has fully fenced front and back yards, indoor and outdoor security cameras, and baby gates that allow us to safely separate pets from other dogs, children, or food when needed. We also have dog beds, toys, and plenty of clean water bowls available for their comfort. Our children have been raised around large dogs and understand dog safety, including respecting a pet’s space around food, beds, crates, and while resting. I’m happy to follow each owner’s normal routine and household rules so their pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with us.

In that time I have put a lot of work into training her and making sure she has enough mental and physical. I have two animals of my own and have owned various pets throughout my life (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc). I am available most days of the week since I am currently only working as a nurse part time. Other than my own two pets, I do not have any other commitments. “Alexis is such a kind person and I can tell that she has a lot of experiences for dogs. She is calm and caring. My GSD has separation anxiety, it takes the most experienced dog handler to deal with. But Alexis took great care of my GSD and it didn't seem to be difficult. Alexis is an expert! My shepherd had a happy day! The pictures I received in middle of the day just made my day! I will definitely recommend Alexis to everyone. Her huge back yard is so ideal for dogs! Her pup Koda is very sweet, you don't want to miss a fun day with Koda (that's my GSD girl said so.)”
“This was our first time boarding Lucky with Quang and we were very happy with the care that Lucky received during his stay! We received daily photos and videos which was great. Quang is quick to respond and accommodated the schedule changes that we requested. We also did a meet and greet before the booking where Quang took the time to understand Lucky’s needs and also ensure that his dog got along as well :) We will board Lucky here again; would recommend!”

Lisa also worked with Jake on his leash walking and kept his mind busy with a treat ball. She gave us lots of updates and pictures throughout his stay. “Andrew’s care of Charlie, our Australian Shepherd, far exceeded my expectations when we went on a long overseas trip. Andrew sent pictures and gave input about what Charlie was up to and how he was doing. Charlie had an unexpected issue pop up which Andrew dealt with calmly and effectively. Andrew is an Eagle Scout, an engineer, and tunes into the dog. His skills helped Charlie have a pleasant visit. Charlie doesn’t play much, but w/Andrew and his dog, Mollie, he discovered he likes to play rope tug-of-war w/another dog. I hope Andrew and Mollie are available the next time I need care for Charlie!”
