About: We have been caring for dogs for many years. Starting from puppies to full grown dogs over the years and know how to understand what a dog needs for a healthy, happy, and full life. Aharon works from home most of the time. With just one dog at home it would be easy to add another. It’s easy to add another to the pack! We take our dogs outside for exercise twice a day and have play sessions in between. We have 1200 sqft of interior space for the dogs to play and chill with a fenced backyard. There’s also a dog park almost right in our backyard where we go to all the time. The area is residential and lots of families around that know us.

Jay & Xinyu asked great questions at our Meet-and-Greet so that they could take the best care of Coco. They did a wonderful job making our young dog with separation anxiety feel comfortable during his stay and sent us plenty of photos so that we knew he was well taken care of.

Alexandria is very experienced. After meeting her I was comfortable and confident that our little guy would be well taken care of. Not only does she provide good positive care, but she is also a bit of a trainer and a groomer! Our little guy can be a bit of a jerk sometimes. He had the opportunity to socialize with other puppers in a safe and nurturing environment. If I need care again, I will definitely book with Alexandria!

About: Private home boarding. One client at a time. Every stay feels like a vacation with personalized care for your dog. Your dog is not one of many guests. They are our only guest. Hosting one client at a time lets us focus on your dog and follow the routine they know. Whether your dog likes to play, explore, sit beside us, or rest in a quiet spot, we give them space to enjoy the stay in their own way. You will receive thoughtful daily photo updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is doing well. We know choosing someone to care for your dog is a big decision, and we appreciate the trust our clients place in us. We would be happy to schedule a meet-and-greet before your dog's first stay to answer your questions, get to know your dog, and make sure we are a good fit. From the moment your dog arrives, they are part of everything we do. Because we both work from home, your dog spends the day with us instead of being left alone for long periods. We go for walks, spend time in the backyard, take breaks, and shape the day around what your dog likes. Some dogs want to stay active, while others are happiest resting nearby. Whenever possible, we follow the routine your dog knows at home, including feeding times, medications, exercise, and bedtime. A familiar routine can help a dog relax more quickly in a new place. We never rush your dog’s first day. Your dog can get familiar with the house and backyard before settling in. Our home sits on a large property with a fully fenced backyard where dogs have plenty of room to explore, play, or relax. Fresh water is always available, and every dog is supervised indoors and outside. I am certified in Dog First Aid and CPR. Before each stay, the house and backyard are checked and prepared for your dog’s arrival. Boris, our Boston Terrier, is friendly, neutered, fully vaccinated, and up to date on flea and tick prevention. Dogs are introduced slowly while we watch how each one responds. If your dog wants more space, we respect that. During walks, we watch your dog’s behavior and the area around us. If a route becomes busy or something makes your dog uneasy, we change direction or adjust the plan.

Zoey had a blast with Jason and his family for daycare. She came back happy and tired, which is the best thing you can hope for. Jason's daughters were about ready to adopt Zoey, so we know they treated her like a pet of their own. We will definitely consider Jason and his family next time we have a crazy day or a trip planned!

About: I work from home full-time with my best friend, Ace — a friendly and easygoing Labrador who loves having new buddies to explore with. With 10 acres of trails and open space to roam, plus a calm, consistent routine, I offer a relaxed, home-style environment where dogs can enjoy fresh air, playtime, and personalized attention. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and horses, and have also worked hands-on in the veterinary field, so while I’m confident managing basic needs and emergencies, my care is best suited for dogs who thrive in a peaceful, low-stress setting. Whether your pup loves sunbathing or playing chase in the yard, they’ll feel right at home here. Because I work from home, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m here throughout the day and night, so your dog will never feel alone or overlooked. From walks and playtime to quiet moments and cuddles, I provide plenty of attention and interaction at a relaxed pace. My consistent presence helps pets feel safe and comfortable, and I tailor their day to match their energy, whether that means exploring the trails or just lounging by my side. While you're away, they’ll have the care, companionship, and calm environment they need to feel at home. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I provide a calm, consistent environment with plenty of supervision, so dogs feel safe, relaxed, and cared for throughout their stay. Each pup gets personalized attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, and downtime based on their unique energy and needs. My 10-acre property offers plenty of space to explore, with one side securely fenced and the rest open but always supervised. Because the property isn't fully enclosed, all outdoor time is carefully monitored at all times, and I only allow off-leash play for dogs with reliable recall or with owner permission. Safety is always my top priority, and dogs are never left outside unattended. Indoors, pets have access to cozy, clean spaces to rest and recharge, and they’re always part of the household, not isolated or left alone for long. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I follow your routine closely to keep things familiar and low-stress. I always respect your space and provide regular updates so you can relax while you’re away.

So glad to have found Quinten after our former Rover caretaker moved overseas. He clearly loves dogs and it shows in his gentleness and patience towards them. Like many of her kind, our French Bulldog can have bursts of high energy. Some Rover caretakers who are less experienced can be overwhelmed with her quirks, but Quinten was not only unfazed but seems to appreciate each dog’s unique personality. He sent plenty of videos and pictures during a short day care. We look forward to our next stay with him.

About: I was raised with dogs since I was about 5 years old, and had cats since I was 10. I currently own two beautiful cats that I've had for about 5 years now. I have pet sat for others while in the military, and am excited to do so again! I quit my job so that I can attend college full-time. Until I start classes, I am completely free and available to care for animals. Once I start classes, I will still be able to pet sit and board on my off days and weekends. :) I live in a two bedroom condo with a green belt out back and several nice walking trails nearby. I do have two cats, so any dogs I watch will need to be gentle and play nice!

About: I am currently a junior in college, but I am young and athletic, love taking care of animals, and have a sweet and outgoing personality. I also have experience taking care of children as well as my own pets, so I understand the importance of prioritizing your pets safety. I have experience with aggressive and larger dogs as well. If there are any pressing concerns or following questions about my experience feel free to contact me! I’m am very free and flexible during the summer season. I am home everyday. The days that I will not be home are marked in my calendar. My schedule changes fairly often so do make sure to contact me in advance. At home I let the dogs play outside in the backyard when in good wether conditions. If the whether is mostly rainy or snowy, I usually keep them entertained indoors. Awarded treats for good behavior. For my clients home I usually like to request a test day in which I spend an hour or so at their place of residency to see how the pet behaves around a new face. In this time I also like to talk about the owners preferences in treats, playtime, walks, feeding, etc

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover who works part-time from home while raising my two favorite little ones: my 2-year-old son and our playful 1-year-old female Corgi. Because my days are centered around staying home and keeping my own duo active and happy, I have plenty of time and love to dedicate to your pup. When your dog stays with us, they truly become a part of our family. I’ve been caring for dogs in some capacity since I was 14 years old—back when "babysitting" almost always meant pet sitting, too! As an adult, I spent over 13 wonderful years caring for a bonded pair of rescue dogs. One of them had been returned to the shelter three times before he found me; I was his last hope, and to this day, I say he was the best 50 bucks I ever spent. Having them for their entire lives gave me deep experience with a wide spectrum of canine needs, and I bring that same patience, commitment, and understanding to every pet I watch. I have a 1 year old corgi and a 2 year old human. Mornings are often spent outside with a walk to the park or time in the yard. After lunch consists of naps by both the toddler and dog. Afternoons are varied with more outside time depending on weather and dog will get a second evening walk after dinner. Yard time is typically when we are outside together unless requested by the dog. My corgi often asks to go outside to chase birds or squirrels. In my home your dog will be treated like my own: plenty of pets and cuddles and play. Just please be ok with a toddler interacting with you dog!

If you are in the position to need someone to watch your fur family member, look no further than Marina and Richard. They took in our 14-week-old puppy two days in a row for daycare. We were able to focus on what we needed to do, knowing she was in good hands. They have a few dogs and daughters who taught our pup some good socialization skills. She came home, happy and tired. We are so grateful for her care!

About: I treat each pup like part of the family—whether that means sticking closely to your dog’s routine, giving extra cuddles, or providing gentle care for seniors or high-energy playtime for puppies. My home is safe, calm, and dog-friendly, with plenty of room to relax or play. I send regular updates and photos, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pup is in loving hands. As a retiree, pet care is truly a part of my everyday life—and something I genuinely enjoy. Since I’m home full-time, your dog will never be left alone for long periods and will receive constant attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. My daily routine is built around keeping dogs happy and comfortable, from morning walks and playtime to relaxed afternoons and evening cuddles. I keep a calm, quiet home where dogs can feel safe and relaxed, and I’m always available for feeding, potty breaks, or just spending quality time with them. When pets stay in my home, I treat them like one of the family. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—including feeding schedules, walk times, play habits, and bedtime routines—to help them feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. My home is clean, quiet, and dog-friendly, with plenty of space for lounging, supervised playtime, and cozy naps. I give each dog plenty of personal attention throughout the day, whether that means going for walks, playing fetch, or just offering a warm lap to curl up on. I also keep pet parents updated with regular messages and photos, so you can rest easy knowing your pup is in good hands.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - East Renton Highlands

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in East Renton Highlands on Rover is $27.75 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 4,131 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across East Renton Highlands. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your East Renton Highlands commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 4,131 sitters in East Renton Highlands, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
