“Vanessa took such a good care of our dog. She sent tons of photos during the day and kept us updated on their routine and on my dog’s behavior. She has really cute kids that look like great around dogs and love to give them pets. She is very sweet and responsive, and I will totally recommend her.”

“Hyeyoung K. was absolutely wonderful! She is so sweet and made our pups feel right at home! This was a new experience for Remi and Ruger. Hyeyoung K. was so pleasant and easy to talk to, which gave us peace of mind leaving them with her for the day. She also sent many adorable photos, videos and updates of our pups, which we loved and appreciated! In addition, she was very flexible and accomodating in regards to drop off and pickup, which was helpful. Her pup, Happy, is also sweet and enjoyed having a playdate. We highly recommend her and her family if you need someone to watch over your furry friends.”

“I always say, if my dogs come home and sleep for hours, that means they had a blast with their sitter, and that is exactly what happened. Kim was great, she sent photos of the dogs, she was very nice and very responsive. I will use her again to care for my two dogs.”

“Anping was great with our dog, Mowgli. He was also very accommodating when we got with our intended pick up time. I will definitely use his service in the future with Mowgli.”

“Minnie was so amazing. I have a 6 month old Chihuahua terrier mix who isn’t very socialized yet so around strangers he can be very timid and fearful. I needed a dog sitter for about 12 hours and Minnie was a perfect fit. My pup took to her well during our meet and greet and during daycare she sent me tons of photo updates throughout the day. I’ve never seen my pup so comfortable with a stranger AND new environment as he looked in the photos. I can tell he was having fun. I’m so thankful his first experience with a pet sitter was a positive one. I would highly recommend Minnie to any pet parent!”

“Our boy came home tired and happy from his daycare. Ana Clara was very attentive and considerate of our anxious puppy’s needs, and made sure to send pictures showing him relaxing and settling in. Highly recommend her!”

“Danti is an excellent sitter, she has a big and clean backyard for the dogs to play. Sydney has a great time with her yesterday, definitely going back and highly recommend.”

“Carissa has been such an amazing dog sitter! My dog is anxious with severe separation anxiety and Carissa has taken the time to get to know her and let her come to her. She is very tuned into her body language and behaviors to help give my dog what she needs. She also has been so flexible my work schedule which lets me be able to work without worry about whether my dog is well taken care of. Highly recommend Carissa if you’re in need of quality pet care!”
About: I have 15 years of experience caring for dogs and understand that every pup has their own personality, routine, and unique needs. I work from home, which means your dog will have plenty of companionship, supervision, and attention throughout the day. We typically enjoy two walks a day, along with playtime, cuddles, and plenty of relaxation. Most importantly, I work around the dog’s schedule rather than expecting them to fit into ours. I’m happy to follow their usual feeding, walking, nap, and bedtime routines to help them feel comfortable and at home. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment with constant supervision, structured routines, and plenty of affection. In clients’ homes, I respect your space while maintaining your pet’s normal schedule to reduce stress. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication needs, and exercise routines, ensuring a safe, loving, and reliable experience every time.
“Ivonne is such a warm and gentle dog mama to her own dog and those under her care. She understands the nuances of caring for a senior dog. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay for our senior dog. He came home calm and relaxed.”

“Butters came back happy and tired. They kept us informed with a lot of pictures and videos. They had multiple dogs at the place which i think makes it fun ! they took good care of him”

About: Hi, I’m Kin, a lifelong dog lover with over 10 years of experience caring for my own dog, Mango (a sweet Maltese mix), and other hypoallergenic breeds. I offer compassionate, reliable care that keeps your dog happy, comfortable, and well-loved while you away. I’m currently available full-time and would love to spend time with your dog, whether it’s play time at home or take a walk in the nearby parks. Your dog is welcome to play freely in my home and relax on the furniture on the first floor. The space is clean, safe, and pet-friendly with plenty of natural light, soft surfaces, and toys to keep them entertained.
About: As a dedicated owner of two mini-doodles who live an active lifestyle with 3 walks a day + 1 long walk/playtime/socialization in the evening, I enjoy providing them a structured, engaging, and loving environment. I live in a vibrant, nature-surrounded complex with a public park, so your dog won't run out of places to explore. We offer a home-away-from-home experience, treating your dog as our own and ensure your family member receives 2 times the love and 100% personalized attention while you're away 🐾 My husband and I both work from home so we can guarantee your dog will have company. My dogs are potty trained and we take them out 4x a day - we prefer dogs who potties outside. Not willing to take in dogs who can't hold it for 4 hours/potty indoors, I am here to watch after your dog, and NOT clean up after accidents. I always pay close attention to my dogs, to ensure they are comfortable and happy. I will ensure that your dog is safe & comfortable during their stay.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. I do have more experience training and working with smaller dogs, as my childhood dogs were Pomeranian mixes. However, I have cared for larger dogs (ie. Portuguese water dogs, golden doodles, pitbull mixes). As a dog walker, I’ve worked with two retired Portuguese water dog champions on a lead. I personally only trained one puppy at a young age and cared for two larger senior dogs. I currently work from home so I have time to take your puppy out for potty breaks, walks and play time. Due to my work flexibility, I’m available for boarding throughout the week and weekend. I do coach soccer, during which time I may be out of the house for 3-4 hours at max, but I will let you know when and if I ever need to step out of the house with or without your puppy. I also occasionally travel for work from Sundays-Thursdays, but I will have advanced notice of those travel days. Whether I am in my own home, or in my clients’ homes, I am very attentive and keep a keen eye on your pets’ behaviors and noises they make. If there is any sense of discomfort or illness, I will do whatever I can to comfort your pet based on their behaviors and keep an open communication line with all my clients.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Issaquah
Remi and Ruger had a wonderful second daycare/puppy playtime with Hyeyoung! Hyeyoung connects so easily with dogs and they just loved being there! When dropping them off they were so excited. They remembered Hyeyoung and her pup, Happy. It was such a comfort to know that our pups would be well cared for and happy while we were away. Hyeyoung also sent many photos, videos and updates throughout the day, which we enjoyed and appreciated! We highly recommend her if you are in need of a pet sitter!!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
