“Silvana was awesome! She responded quickly and let us book super last minute when our hotel wouldn’t let us check out late. She has a big house and yard and lots of toys, Khya was so excited when she got there! Silvana sent lots of cute pictures as well.”

“Kim is wonderful! She took great care of Whitley, and I loved the updates with how Whitley was playing with the other dogs. Kim is extremely responsive to messages and we can’t wait to book with her again in the future. It is such a relief to find somebody we know can take good care of our girl when needed. Thank you, Kim!”
“Hyeyoung K. was absolutely wonderful! She is so sweet and made our pups feel right at home! This was a new experience for Remi and Ruger. Hyeyoung K. was so pleasant and easy to talk to, which gave us peace of mind leaving them with her for the day. She also sent many adorable photos, videos and updates of our pups, which we loved and appreciated! In addition, she was very flexible and accomodating in regards to drop off and pickup, which was helpful. Her pup, Happy, is also sweet and enjoyed having a playdate. We highly recommend her and her family if you need someone to watch over your furry friends.”

“Vanessa took such a good care of our dog. She sent tons of photos during the day and kept us updated on their routine and on my dog’s behavior. She has really cute kids that look like great around dogs and love to give them pets. She is very sweet and responsive, and I will totally recommend her.”

“Cynthia was very quick to respond to my inquires and questions prior to booking. We received several photos and text updates while our girls were in her care. All was good.”

About: I absolutely love dogs! Sadly in October of 2024 my dog of 15 years passed away. We are ready and available to love and support your pup while you are away. It can be stressful having you fur baby go to a new place; rest assured they are in loving and capable hands. We strive to ensure the adjustment to a new place is as easy as possible on your pet. We generally only take 2 pets at a time so there is plenty of time and energy to ensure your pet gets all the love, care, exercise and attention they need! We have been enjoying caring for your pets so much the past year with Rover. Preference for dogs who are good with other dogs, house trained and medium energy requirements. Let’s talk and see if we are a good fit! I am currently working part-time with a flexible schedule and my partner is an animal lover who works from home. We currently have no pets living in the home so plenty of space and time for your family member! We do have a 7 and 4 year old who also love having doggies around and are realllllly adapted to ensuring your pet is safe, loved and help so much with play time! We have a fenced in yard, plenty of space for walks (which we enjoy frequently), Lots of spare toys and energetic and disciplined children to keep them busy! We are ready to support any and all needs your pet may have.
“Our boy came home tired and happy from his daycare. Ana Clara was very attentive and considerate of our anxious puppy’s needs, and made sure to send pictures showing him relaxing and settling in. Highly recommend her!”

About: I have experience with my current dog after going through several months of behavioral training as a puppy. I also have experience with senior dogs and cats growing up at my parents home. I also know how to administer medicine both orally and through ear medicine for cats. During the week, early mornings, late afternoons and evenings are best. On the weekends, late afternoons and evenings are best. With enough time, I can accommodate noon appointments. Feeding, outside time, cleaning litter box, and playing/exercise time will all be standard, but it depends on the needs of the cat. I can also administer medicine as well. If boarding at my own home, dogs will have a fenced yard for exercise.
“Maritza and her family were amazing with Nina. This is the first time we have left her at someone’s house and we could not be more pleased. I received tons of photos and video updates and I could tell she was having a ball and came home so happy. I can’t wait to have her stay with them again!”

“Ardelle is the best of the best. She spends time really trying to understand what makes pets tick and how to meet their needs. She's never fazed by our two dogs who are both "challenging." Thorough, communicative, timely, and caring!”

“Kimberly is the best! Kind and caring to our dog. Friendly, professional and polite to the humans. She provided plenty of updates with photos, so we knew our dog was getting great care. Highly recommend.”

About: I have been pet sitting since high school for friends and family. Moved to Seattle and thought I should keep doing it. I was on rover for multiple years in west Seattle and then we had a baby and stopped for a while and only watched for friends and family, now we have moved to North Bend and our daughter is older and ready to get back to watching dogs again. We have our own pup too that is friendly with all dogs.

“Mae was wonderful in making our dog Havana feel safe and comfortable. Havana is on the anxious side and is slow to warming up to a new environment. With that in mind, Mae held her and helped her feel safe. Mae's calm and compassionate demeanor also helped Havana ease into her new environment for the day. Although it was only for daycare, she sent a pic and couple of updates on how she was doing. And at pickup, Mae provided more details. She truly helped me put my mind at ease as well. We're returning for future boarding and daycare. Thanks so much Mae!”

About: Looking for someone who can give your fur baby all the attention they deserve? That’s me! I’m a full time pet sitter, so your furry family member is my top priority. From morning cuddles to playtime and walks, I make sure each day is full of love and care. I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, and I truly understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. I raised two Labradors from puppies all the way to 17 and 18 years old, and I’ve also cared for many small dogs over the years. Every dog is different, so I always take the time to learn their routine, personality, and what helps them feel comfortable. After my own dogs passed, I realized how much I still wanted dogs to be part of my life. Caring for other people’s dogs has been a meaningful way for me to share that love again. ❤️ ⭐️As part of my commitment to supporting the Mirrormont community, 5% of all earnings from Mirrormont clients are donated to the community park in support of the Mirrormont Community Association (MCA). I’m available most days and have a flexible schedule as a full time pet sitter. Please feel free to reach out to check specific dates or times. 🐾 About My Daycare 🐾 Safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I focus on creating a clean, calm, and welcoming environment where every dog can feel relaxed and well cared for. To help maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all dogs in my care, I kindly ask that all pups be fully house trained. Thank you so much for your understanding. My goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and at ease during their time with me, whether they are here for daycare, boarding, or in-home care. ⸻ ⭐️ Daycare Policy⭐️ Daycare typically runs from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with up to 10 hours of care — but I’m happy to adjust the schedule to fit your needs. Just let me know what works best for you and your pup. If you need a little extra time, extended care is available at $15 per additional hour. Please let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly. 🐈Since cats are often more comfortable in their own space, I generally do not offer daycare for cats. I’m always happy to provide in-home drop-in care, where your cat can remain relaxed in a familiar environment. ⸻ 🏡 Boarding Policy 🏡 When your pup stays overnight with me, they’ll be treated like family and enjoy a cozy, home-style environment. You can expect me to spend at least 20 hours a day with your pup — this includes overnight care, plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day, and a calm, comforting presence at night. That said, I may step out briefly for personal errands like grocery shopping, meals, or other short outings, but your pup will never be left alone for extended periods. I always make sure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for when I’m away. ⸻ 🚪 Pet Sitting Policy 🚪 When staying in your home, I promise to respect both your pets routine and your space with the utmost care. I will spend at least 20 hours a day in your home, always planning my schedule around your pup’s walks, meals, and comfort. Most importantly, I will stay overnight to keep your pups company they’ll never have to sleep alone. Their routine is my top priority, and I aim to make them feel calm, loved, and secure while you’re away. Before I leave, I will return your home to the way it was clean, tidy, and as if I was never there. ⸻ 💛 What You Can Expect I treat every fur baby like family and always follow their routine. Your pup will enjoy: • A safe, loving, and stress-free environment • Plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles • Regular updates with photos and videos • Careful tracking of water intake and potty breaks to help monitor their health. ⸻ Let me know if you’d like to schedule a meet-and-greet. I look forward to welcoming your pup into my home and making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for every step of the way 🐶💕

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
