About: I grew up with a dog and took care of him throughout his 14 years! More recently have helped my mom welcome a puppy who is now over a year old. He is a big dog and I have loved getting to take him on walks, play with him or just sit and hangout I work part time and would love to get to interact with dogs and cats who need a little love throughout the day! Happy to get out and walk with them or just swing by to say hi! I can crate dogs, make sure certain doors or windows are closed, or any additional environment safety items that need to be done. I can also check on food and water status
About: I love dogs and cats! Each one has their own personality and quirks. My goal is to build a trusting relationship with any animal in my care. It's such a joy when I can communicate with an animal! I will always do my best to keep your pets safe and happy. I know some pets are very energetic and love to play rough, while others just want to be snuggled and pet. Either way, I'm up for the job! I will ask lots of questions about your fur friend so we can get off on the right foot! I'm a stickler for cleaning up after dogs or cats in my care. I have no problem scooping kitty litter every day or picking up puppy packages in the park (or your yard, for that matter). My goal is to provide a wonderful experience for you and your pet!
“Nicolas has been such a huge help with my girls!! They’re not the easiest to walk because one is old and stubborn and the other is young and wants to run, and he’s great with them. :)”

“Briana did an amazing job of making sure cujo had fun and exciting walks. She did a very good job of taking care of him and making sure his needs were met. Cujo will miss her but I’ll definitely be booking briana again in the future. She made sure to let me know exactly what was going on and treated my dog as if he were her own. She did more than an amazing job! Definitely will be recommending her to anyone I know.”

“Mojo loved his walks with Baylee. She was very flexible as our schedule kept changing due to pandemic things and we really appreciated that. Baylee was very responsive and responsible on the walks. We are looking forward to next time!”

“Alison has been right on time and works great with our Staphie. Communication was great throughout the walks and we’ll definitely ask her to care for our girl in the future. Thanks Alison :)”

“Jade is truly the absolute best! Charlie Ann is a very sensitive dog with lots of feelings, and Jade quickly became one of her favorite people. Jade has a deep respect for Charlie as a creature with her own personality, preferences, and desires. She pays incredibly close attention to Charlie’s subtle cues and has gotten to know her so well, honestly, better than many people who have known Charlie for years. Jade is also a phenomenal communicator. After every walk, I get thoughtful, detailed updates and documentation, and I always feel like I know exactly how Charlie is doing and how their time together went. I’ve truly never felt so comfortable trusting someone with Charlie so quickly. It is incredibly clear how much Jade cares about her, and knowing that Charlie is with someone who understands and respects her so deeply gives me enormous peace of mind. I feel incredibly lucky that we found her!”

“Great first experience! I used Kaitlyn to walk my dog when I had to be away from the house for a long day out. She was reliable, communicative, and friendly with my dog. I appreciated the updates and could tell my pup was well cared for and happy. I would definitely book again!”

“Jennifer has been amazing! She walks my baby with patience and enthusiasm. She leaves detailed messages and pictures after each walk. Her years of experience are reassuring as well.”

“Had a great first experience with Michael! He was super responsive, right on time, really kind, easy to work with, and sent lots of sweet pics. Our dogs were definitely in good hands.”

“My dog adores her and she has been wonderful keeping him busy. I can't walk him every day because of my health, so having Autumn help us out has been fantastic ❤️ Always timely, wonderful communicator and such a reliable person”

“Ana is absolutely wonderful! She’s been so great in making sure my pup Rocco is getting is daily exercise. She’s very friendly, outgoing, professional and does a great job with picture updates! Rocco comes back happy and sleepy every time. 5/5 definitely recommend!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Issaquah
Alyssa is the absolute best! First of all she’s a dog owner herself so has that personal perspective and experience which is invaluable. She has a very thoughtful approach, asking questions beforehand about our pup’s habits. She took the time to play with our pup before and after her walk, which I was not expecting at all. She reached out once while we were away when she had a concern/question, which I appreciated. Alyssa also provided brief but informative daily reports after each walk, which were helpful and eased my mind because I was missing my girl while we were away. If you want a conscientious, caring and reliable dog walker, I highly recommend Alyssa!

Carolina went above and beyond for our pup! She clearly loves what she does and our dog warmed up to her quickly and clearly loved his walks with her! We so appreciate how attentive she was for our furry family member- she noticed our upstairs space felt warm, and was lovely enough to relocate his crate and a fan downstairs for him to stay cool until we got home!

Great first experience! I used Kaitlyn to walk my dog when I had to be away from the house for a long day out. She was reliable, communicative, and friendly with my dog. I appreciated the updates and could tell my pup was well cared for and happy. I would definitely book again!

Brooke continues to be a hero in our family! Today my husband was home when she arrived for their walk and got to see first hand just how excited they get as soon as Brooke pulls in the driveway. He was chopped liver as soon as it was time for their adventure with Brooke! Recently our neighbor also told us how she has overheard her talking to and playing with the dogs after their walk, and now even their dog gets excited when Brooke arrives! She had the best energy and treats our dogs like queens. So thankful!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
