About: I started dog sitting back in college, caring for the same family’s pets (and occasionally their kids!) throughout all four years — which taught me a lot about consistency, trust, and routine. When I moved to Washington, I began pet sitting for friends and their parents, and over time my network grew naturally through word of mouth. For the past five years, I’ve mainly been pet sitting for friends, but I’m excited to open my circle again to new clients and furry friends. I also cared for my sister’s dog (the black pup in my photos) for two years while she was living somewhere that didn’t allow pets. He sadly passed from cancer, but that experience deepened my understanding of the love — and care — that go into supporting a dog through every stage of life. I’ve looked after dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including many with medical needs or dietary restrictions. One of my regulars is a 14-year-old senior dog with ongoing medical care, and her owner often says I’m one of the only two people she fully trusts to care for her “like she’s my own.” I’m an active person myself, so if your pup enjoys walks, hikes, or adventures, I’m always up for it! And since I work from home, I can provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day — whether your dog’s young, old, or anywhere in between. I work from home, so I’m home most of the day during the week — and I love having a furry excuse for a mid-day walk! I do pop out occasionally for the gym or quick errands, but I’m never gone for long. I have an active social life, but I’m flexible and always happy to adjust my schedule around your pet’s needs to make sure they get consistent care and attention. I take the time to let every pet get comfortable at their own pace. Building trust starts with consistency — following their usual routines, respecting their space, and paying attention to their body language. I use a calm voice, gentle movements, and plenty of positive reinforcement (and treats, if allowed!) to help them feel safe and cared for. Whether it’s a shy pup or a social butterfly, I focus on creating a stress-free, loving environment so they can relax and feel at home while you’re away.

About: I’ve grown up with large dogs my entire life, but I took the initiative to join the pet care industry and honestly found large chain dog care to be lacking. Let’s get our pets outdoors in nature every opportunity possible! I really believe in the Japanese tenet of “forest bathing” for my own health and your furry best friend. I’m currently in the process of opening an aquaponics garden and micro-plant orchard with species ranging from fig, cherry, and pomegranate to lots of vegetables, and thus my availability is quite open this time of the year. I have a fenced yard and our housing situation has been cleaned of any dog stressors or dangers since we got our young pup Anakin about a year and a half ago.

About: Animals have always been part of my life as my mom’s a veterinarian, so I’ve lovingly cared for dogs and cats since childhood, including friends’ and neighbors’ pets. I work mostly remote with flexible hours from 6:30–3pm, caring for my own dog Sophie throughout the day. Flexible weekdays & most weekends, I’m here for furry friends. About: I’ve spent most of my life around animals—whether it was walking the neighbor’s dog after school, or taking care of my own pets at home. Over the years, I’ve learned that every pet has their own personality, quirks, and needs. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each one and making sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I’m a student thats mostly home during the day, so your dog/ cat won’t be left a long for any length of time(perfect if your dog or cat has separation anxiety) Regular walks/ baths for dogs, my neighborhood is very dog friendly and has parks near by. Cats will have plenty of space to roam around inside as well.

It's such a joy when I can communicate with an animal! I will always do my best to keep your pets safe and happy. I know some pets are very energetic and love to play rough, while others just want to be snuggled and pet. Either way, I'm up for the job! I will ask lots of questions about your fur friend so we can get off on the right foot! I'm a stickler for cleaning up after dogs or cats in my care.
