About: I have been caring for my own animals for over 8 years. Our furry, scaly, feathery family members deserve the upmost respect and care. I've done various tasks such as claw care, simple grooming, specially diets, oral and injectable medications, and bathroom trips/litter scooping. I am up for any challenge, not afraid to get a little messy, or willing to take the extra time needed to sooth an overwhelmed pet. Just let me know how I can care for your pets! I am a full-time student, with only 2 classes in the week midday on Monday and Wednesday. Otherwise I devote my time to the gym and professional development. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. Confidentiality is first nature to me. I am in the US Military, 4 times deployed, I understand privacy and security is imparative. My only desire is to look after your pets, I may bring a laptop to get any school work done but otherwise my priority is to follow the guidance set for me to make sure your pet and/or home is taken care of! I do not smoke at all :>
“Teresa did a great job taking care of Rocky. This was my first time using Rover and I didn't really know what to expect. Teresa came over to meet us before I booked her and as I explained some of his "quirks" it was clear she was experienced with dogs and the issues they can have. There were no issues whatsoever and I do appreciated the updates and photos.”

“Riley is awesome! Super reliable and communicative, he sent me consistent updates and photos and I could tell my dog was in great hands while I was gone. Riley was available on short notice and even took the time to introduce himself to my pup before our booking to put me at ease. Note: I’m a Rover Sitter myself and truly couldn’t recommend Riley enough!”

“Very communicative and punctual. Flexible timing wise as well if needed! Very much recommended, our dog loves walks with them and they are very considerate in general!”

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for more than 30 years, and I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets and your home. I’m an experienced dog owner that has managed two doggie day cares, and I treat every dog in my care like I would want someone to treat my own. I know that every dog has a different personality, routine and comfort level, so I take the time to learn what makes your dog happiest—whether that means an energetic walk, lots of playtime, belly rubs, quiet companionship or simply keeping their normal routine consistent while you’re away. Reliability is extremely important to me. When I commit to caring for your dog, you can count on me to show up, follow your instructions and keep you updated so you don't have to wonder how things are going. I especially enjoy building ongoing relationships with dogs and their families, so recurring walks and drop-in clients are always welcome! I'll also send you an update and photos so you can see how your pup is doing. ◇30-minute and 60-minute visits available.◇ 🐾🐾Overnight House Sitting🐾🐾 Going away shouldn't mean your dog has to give up the comfort of home. With overnight house sitting, I'll stay with your dog in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine as closely as possible—including meals, walks, potty breaks, playtime, bedtime routines and lots of companionship. I understand that trusting someone inside your home is a big decision, so I take that responsibility seriously and will treat both your pets and your home with respect. 🐾🐾Meet & Greet🐾🐾 I offer a complimentary meet & greet before the first booking whenever possible. It gives your dog a chance to meet me while you're there, allows you to show me their routine, and gives us time to discuss feeding, walks, behaviors, medications, favorite toys, quirks and anything else you'd like me to know. My goal is for both you and your dog to feel completely comfortable before the first visit. 🐾My Favorite Kind of Client🐾 I love working with pet parents who consider their dogs members of the family. “I really appreciated Toki for taking care of my dog. He's really experienced and reliable dog walker. And he's really good at communication. We will ask him for help in the future and we would recommend him to others.”

About: I have been a STEM teacher for 5 years, handling classes with students of grade levels from middle school through seniors. I also pet sat my SIL’s cats at her house (one a senior, other younger) while she traveled overseas for a month, along with aiding in looking after four young puppies for a month. Also, I establish trust and care with both dogs and cats in a timely manner, ensuring that they fill safe and loved. Also, I have had several cats and dogs of my own throughout the years. I am currently in my summer break so I can be there for your pets practically at anytime, just busy on Monday and Wednesday mornings until 12 pm. In your home, I can feed, walk, play, and love your dogs and cats as much as is needed. If they have routines or need to be put up / crated, I can facilitate those.
“Akiva has been a fantastic friend and walker to our Blue Heeler puppy. She absolutely adores him because he makes walks fun, positive, and rewarding. We’re grateful for his calm and confident presence and positive reinforcement. Our dog can be very stubborn and he is always patient with her and with us. She gets so excited to see him and it’s a huge relief to us that she’s in capable and thoughtful hands. We highly recommend Akiva!”

About: I have been taking care of medium sized dogs for 16 and a half years. I have lived with dogs a large majority of my life with having four dogs living together for a few years. I have also had a cat for 18 years and two years ago got another. I currently have two medium sized dogs and two cats. I have helped train my dogs, walk, feed, and play with them. I also have worked with puppies and elderly dogs. I am going back to school late August so my schedule is flexible until then. There might be days where I am not available, I might not always have access to a car but I will do my best to communicate with that. I have a fully fenced in backyard for the dogs, we go on walks every morning and night in my neighborhood. They have plenty of toys to last a lifetime and plenty of treats. My cat has limited access to the house when I am back home because of the dogs but she has everything she could want.
“Allexis is the best dog walker I've ever had! She is so communicative, kind, caring and flexible. My dog has struggled with some big life changes and transitions we've been going through and Allexis has been patient and loving with her. I've seen a huge difference in my dog's demeanor since Allexis and I've so grateful!”

“HIGHLY recommend Jackie. She was great with Riley, and communicated well with me. Super friendly and responsive. Didn't worry at all about Riley while I was at work because I knew Jackie would be there. Would hire her again for sure if/when the opportunity arises.”

Akiva was a great dog walker. He worked on getting to know my dog and meeting his needs. Always punctual, he gave Yofi the full hour walk as requested. Akiva knows a lot about dog behavior and got to know Yofi before he took him out. Akiva and Yofi had a productive "meet and greet" before accepting this task. My dog has a few quirks that Akiva handled professionally. He was also very kind with Yofi. I recommend Akiva wholeheartedly.

Daniela is outstanding! She truly has a love of animals and engaged immediately with my two pups with skill and enthusiasm, catering to their separate personalities and needs with ease. She is kind and considerate and both dogs immediately adored her. I highly recommend Daniela, thank you!!

We did a trial meet-and-greet walk with Pauline and her dog, Comet, for our German Shepherd (Korben) and Husky mix (Deckard). Pauline was fantastic. Our Husky can be a bit selective and leash-reactive, but she handled him with total confidence and ease on our neighborhood walk. She has great instincts with dog dynamics, remained completely unfazed by typical introduction behaviors, and our senior GSD took to her immediately. It’s a huge relief to find a local sitter who understands large breeds and active dogs so well. Highly recommend!
Kai is doing a great job. I had surgery and needed someone to walk my dog 3x/day. He answered the call immediately, came to the house to introduce himself and appeared the next day at 7:15 AM. He has been very punctual and dependable. My dog, who doesn't like to walk with people she doesn't know, wags her tale when he comes to the door. HE is terrific!

Rachel is amazing! She's great with my dogs, who are suspicious and standoffish with people they don't know. She is also just a lovely human! Last weekend, while on my trip, I discovered that I had mistakenly booked her to walk my dogs the following weekend, not the one I was gone. She was able to accommodate the last minute change, and was so kind about it. Rachel is the best :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
