“We are so grateful to have found Todd. He took wonderful care of Kona and made sure she got daily walks and plenty of attention. Kona got along great with Honey, who is such a sweet, chill pup. The two of them did really well together. Todd was always responsive, reliable, and kept us updated. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and are so happy to have found him. We will absolutely continue to use Todd in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and dependable sitter.”

“We took Rico for a doggy daycare day in preparation for an upcoming extended stay. Within an hour of dropping him off I received an update and pictures...and then more pics and another update about an hour later. Since Rico has never been with anyone but family, this was SO reassuring to me to know he was settling in and being so well cared for!”
About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.
“Thank you Cheryl for taking such good care of Molly and also crating her, as requested. She had the best day playing with your pup and also being loved on. Epic levels of photos and updates throughout the day which was above and beyond!”

“We were so happy to have found Ketaki and her sweet pup Coco! The two of them looked over our little Zoey was such care. Zoey looks forward to spending more time with them! Thanks Ketaki & Coco!”

“Vanessa took such a good care of our dog. She sent tons of photos during the day and kept us updated on their routine and on my dog’s behavior. She has really cute kids that look like great around dogs and love to give them pets. She is very sweet and responsive, and I will totally recommend her.”

About: I consider myself to be a loving and caring person, saving the most room in my heart for dogs and other furry friends. Dogs have always been part of the family - from my grandparents’ tradition of always having a little white dog to caring for large rescue dogs with difficult pasts. I’m always sensitive to a dog’s feelings, trying to anticipate their needs and making sure they always feel safe and comfortable. This was most apparent in my relationship with my own dog, Fille, who passed in June 2025. She was a scared and traumatized rescue that was found lost wandering the desert in Arizona, but after adopting her in 2018 and spending 7 wonderful years together, she blossomed into a confident (albeit stubborn) pup who received lots of love and support so she could explore the world with me. During our last year together, I got first-hand experience with not only senior care but disabled dog care; Fille was living with partial paralysis in her hind legs, and so I learned how to best support her mobility on walks and take care of pain management, physical therapy, and other special needs as they arose. I would love to treat your dog with the same compassion and love and look forward to many future walks and visits! I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can care for pets on any schedule. I do sometimes travel for work, but my availability will surely be updated with plenty of advance notice to accommodate any pet parent’s needs! Pets would be allowed full range of my home, and I ensure that any potential hazards (cords, garbage, etc.) are properly stowed away and cannot be accessed by any four-legged friends. If desired, I have space to accommodate a kennel. Living very close to a big park, I’m an avid explorer of the grounds and loved to take breaks out there with my furry friend, Fille. My apartment building has a shared entrance, but I have a good rapport with my neighbors and can take any precautions if requested. There are stairs and a functioning elevator for any dogs with mobility issues.
“My dog Frankie is absolutely obsessed with Mariia and Viktor. They take amazing care of her and are fantastic at communication with me. I can’t recommend them enough!”

“AMAZING! (Did I write amazing?) The most confident I’ve ever felt leaving my husky. Great, cool, communicative family with a beautiful and very safe house. I’ve had 35 years of huskies and Michael’s place in the best. 6 out of 5 stars.”
“Maria is fantastic! Marky is hesitant when it comes to interacting with people and dogs when I am not with him but Maria showed him there was nothing to fear! They take beautiful walks together, naps with his friends, and gets to play all day in a pack. He comes home tired and happy when the day is done. Maria really loves all of the dogs like her own”

About: Hi my name is Georgia and I have not only previous experience for about a year where I worked with dogs at petsmart through the petshotel having to take care of them while the owners are away but I'm also a current employee at scampers daycamp for dogs where I have had to oversee up to 20 + dogs by myself or with others. I grew up with animals my whole life along with volunteering at the Humane Society a little and Kelsey Creek Farm Park. I think what you'll love about me is that I like creating a bond with the dog I'm working with and the pet parents as well. I feel like that's very important, after all I am looking after your four legged family member!! I can't wait to get to know you and your four legged companion! In conclusion, I hope to hear from you very soon!
“Dropped Milo for the first time in years with someone he didn’t know, not to mention in an environment he had never been to. Travis greeted us with a smile and took Milo inside to spend the day with him. I received frequent updates (including pics) which made me feel at ease knowing that my fur baby was in good hands. He cared for him like he was his own, he had full reign of all his favorite areas….sofa and on Travis’ lap :). When I came to pick him up he seemed very calm and happy. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend them for any of your needs.”

About: With my corgi Nori as my sidekick, together, we provide daycare days to relaxed overnight stays and refreshing walks. We make sure every pup feels happy, safe, and loved. Nori enjoys meeting new friends, and I make sure keep playtime supervised and stress-free. Expect wagging tails, regular updates, and lots of TLC. I work fully remote, so I'll be at home all day with your pup. We have a little yard out front and are in a great walking location. Pups are never left alone for long periods and receive consistent supervision, attention, and care. Because I’m home, I can easily accommodate feeding schedules, medication, and crate time if needed. I don't accept more than 2 dogs per day (for both boarding and day care) so you can be sure that your pup will get plenty of attention! I have a little fenced yard out front and a big living room space for the pups to play in, and plenty of space for crates if your pup uses one. Pups also welcome to chill the couch with tons of blankets, and also more than welcome to snuggle in bed if they so choose.

“Crystal runs a wonderful daycare! She is knowledgeable, caring and dedicated. She takes time to send updates throughout the day. Crystal is also a talented trainer, and takes the time to practice with dogs throughout the day on small obedience lessons. Her dogs are awesome as well with all sorts of energy levels. I always feel at ease that my pup is well-looked after, and is having a grand ole time during my workday!”

“It was a great experience to have a day boarding for my Dog June with Christina. She was very responsive, updated us with pictures and videos and followed all her care instructions really well. June came back happy. I would highly recommend her!”

“Joseph was great with my pup! He watched my dog in his home for doggy day care while I had maintenance work done on my place. My dog is a bit older and loves the finer things in life, such as a nice place to nap, a rooftop patio, and air conditioning on a hot day. Joseph was able to provide all 3, and my dog came home happy and relaxed! Joseph was also very responsive and I felt at ease leaving my dog in his care.”

“Wonderful, professional dog sitter. My giant samoyed was happy and tired when he came back to me, after a fun day with a nice walk. I received multiple photos of his day and knew he was in good hands. Will definitely book again!”

“Bram had a great day! He was so well taken care of and I knew he was in very good hands. I loved getting updates throughout the day. Wonderful communication, wonderful experience, we will definitely be booking again!”

Newport dog parents share their Rover experiences
We left Coby in excellent care! Candace completely put us at ease about leaving him in a new environment with new dogs. We really appreciated her regular check-ins and attentiveness to his needs. He clearly had a great time...he came home completely wiped out!

Jenna is absolutely wonderful! I have been rebooking with her for over a year now and feel so lucky to have found her. She is incredibly kind and takes such great care of Mia. One of the highlights for us is that Mia gets to play with Jenna’s dog, Orca—it’s the perfect way for her to socialize. Mia always comes home happy and perfectly tired out from a fun day. I cannot recommend Jenna enough!

Shelbee had a wonderful time at Hitoe’s home with Biscuit. She took her on lots of walks, and although Shelbee usually doesn’t eat much, I was initially worried—but she made sure to give her food and water regularly, and Shelbee finished everything before coming home. I also really appreciated the consistent updates and how thoughtfully she answered all my questions. I would absolutely love to book with her again!

Magdalena and Suresh (hope I spelled it right!) were incredible hosts for our two Dobermans. She was very thoughtful in our meet and greet on getting her dogs introduced and I could tell she wanted to make sure all 4 were going to get along. She sent great pics throughout the stay and I could tell our dogs got spoiled! Would love to have her watch the dogs again in the future!
Amanda is amazing! She was so kind to watch my 13 week old golden retriever puppy Millie. Millie played all day! She was able to meet a new friend and run and dig to her hearts content. Amanda was so sweet to send me pictures and videos so I was not anxious during her first day away.

Pauline was fantastic taking care of our one year old golden retriever for doggy daycare. She made sure lemon felt right at home, took her on several walks, and sent photo and video updates throughout the day. We knew she was in great hands and would absolutely book again. Thanks, Pauline!
