About: I only take one dog per boarding request as I want to make sure every pet gets the attention they deserve. I make sure to match with the dogâs energy, depending on whether they want a walk, play, or just a steady presence. I provide updates with photos and videos so that you can see how your baby is actually doing. Iâll make sure to keep their tails wagging while their favorite human is away (and hopefully become their second favorite)! There is always at least one person in the house to take care of the pets, with the exception of a few hours if we go out together on evenings or weekends. As a gap-year student, I am personally available almost all day everyday to keep your dogs comfortable. As my dog and catâs favorite human, I always made sure they are doing well and dedicated individual daily play time to both. I have a fenced background so the dogs can play outside as long as they want to. If I go to your house, I will also play with them in addition to feeding, taking them to potty, etc. I treat my pets as my babies, and will make sure your babies are also taken care of when you are not around.
âMari is so sweet and so clearly a dog lover. Our pups were so happy and comfortable with her during a day of doggy daycare. And I loved that she stayed in touch and sent a ton of pics and videos during the stay. It gave me peace of mind to leave the pups with her while I was at work. Canât wait for Kumi and Gokuâs next booking with Mari!!â

âStephanie took great care of our puppy! She pampered him with love, ensuring plenty of exercise on walks. Her attentive and caring nature reassured me throughout the daycare experience. Highly recommend!â

âFrankie had a great time hanging out with Kellie and her family for the day! She had so much fun playing and going to the park, and slept very well when she got home. Thank you đžâ

âI truly appreciate Xinyaâs care for my boy Obi. They sent me many photos, took care of feeding on time, and overall I can see he had a good time and a fun walk. Thank you!â

âJoyce was calm, caring, communicative, flexible, and made my pup feel like part of the family. I was provided updates and photos, and Dublin really welcomed my dog during his time. The space is clean and large and plenty of engagement and attention is given. I will be using Joyce's services again!â

About: As a Husky owner, I have hands-on experience caring for energetic, strong, and playful dogs. I understand the importance of exercise, patience, attention, and keeping dogs mentally stimulated. Iâm comfortable with active dogs, long walks, playtime, feeding routines, and giving each dog the individual care and attention they need. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and will treat every dog I care for with the same kindness, patience, and attention I give my own. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine because I have a Husky of my own. Iâm used to making time every day for walks, exercise, feeding, playtime, and giving dogs plenty of attention. I have a flexible schedule and genuinely enjoy being active, so caring for pets fits easily into my routine. Iâm happy to adjust to each dogâs normal schedule and make sure they get the exercise, care, and companionship they need. I care for every pet based on their individual needs and normal routine. Whether Iâm caring for a dog in my home or a clientâs home, I make sure they have fresh water, meals on schedule, regular walks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. As a Husky owner, Iâm comfortable with active and energetic dogs and understand the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I also respect each ownerâs instructions and keep their petâs routine as consistent and comfortable as possible.
âTodd is awesome! Heâs very detail oriented and listened to all of our tidbits about Ziggy before caring for him. He kept him active all day and spoiled him with the dog park, walks, and treats!â

âAs always, Mckenna and her mom Shirley took the best care of my old dog Chewie, and he's not easy! Thank you so much, Mckenna and Shirley! I'm always sure Chewie is happy and well taken care of when he's at your house.â

âErica was incredible with my higher need, anxious golden! She was very understanding of her food allergies and patient when she had separation anxiety! She sent multiple updates & kept me informed throughout the stay. Will be staying with her again!â

About: Hi! My name is Eunjung, but my friends call me Cindy. I have extensive experience as both a dog owner and a foster family, and through fostering Iâve cared for dogs with many different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I really believe in meeting dogs where they areârespecting their temperament, paying attention to their cues, and adjusting care so they feel secure and at ease. I care for one guest dog at a time. I already have a calm, friendly dog at home (8yo golden retriever), and keeping visits one-on-one allows me to make sure introductions are thoughtful and that every dog feels comfortable, safe, and not overwhelmed. Iâm calm, attentive, and communicative, and Iâll always share photos and updates so you know how your dog is doing. My goal is for your dog to feel relaxed, cared for, and at home while youâre away. During the week, my husband will be home to do a morning walk and a play-time in the yard. I return from work in the afternoon, and we take our afternoon/evening walk. Dogs can go into the yard anytime they want. They are also welcome to stay inside! I have a spacious fenced yard, the chillest & kindest golden retriever to keep dogs company (or stay out of the way if needed), and great toys and equipment for pets in the yard.
âLoki seemed to love staying with Marilyn and Travis and they were very communicative and sent us lots of photos and updates throughout the day. Highly recommend!â

About: We are a couple who grew up with pets, and have spent years caring for our friendsâ and familiesâ pets (rabbit, dog, tortoise, you name it). This isnât just a side gig for us, we genuinely love animals and are working towards one day owning our own pup together (we currently have a sweet cat named Luna). In the meantime, we would love to provide a safe and comfy home for your pet when you are gone so you can travel relaxed knowing that they are in the best of hands. We live in an amazingly dog friendly area and would love to take your pup out for the best walks <3 As a couple, we both have hybrid work, with both of our schedules leaning heavily remote. This means that most of the time, we are both home and available to give your pup pets, attention, and walks. We also live in a great area for walking with lots of parks nearby and both love going for walks! We maintain a clean, calm, and cozy apartment that is pet friendly. We do currently have a sweet 4yr old cat, she has been around dogs and gets along with them, so as long as your pup is friendly with cats they should get along great! Your pet will be welcomed and cared for as one of our own. We respect your petâs existing routines and will stick to them consistently for smoother transitions. You can also expect regular photos and updates throughout their stay.

âWe had a wonderful experience with Diana! They took great care of Tuna, kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, and made sure she was happy, safe, and well cared for. It was clear they genuinely love dogs and paid attention to her needs and routine. When I picked her up, she was relaxed, healthy, and clearly had a great time. We really appreciated the excellent communication and the peace of mind they gave us while we were away. I would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!â

âAmazing rover! Communication, flexibility, and punctual. My dog is usually shy and warmed up immediately. I felt my dog was safe and in good hands. I recommend and will use again thank you!â

About: I grew up with pets, from large to small. My sibling and friends always rely on me fostering their dogs and cats. I work from home and wonât leave your pets alone. My husband and I work full time from home, so your pets will always be attended to. They will pretty much hang out with us while we go about our day. My husband starts walking all of the dogs at around 8am. I will open my fenced yard at midday for a midday pee break. My husband will come back at around 6:30pm to give all of the dogs another walk. We usually feed the dogs their morning and evening meals after they come back from their walks. We will open the yard again before bed for a late night pee break.
âSuch great pics and communication. We really appreciated being able to drop our pup off early and for the park meet up ahead of time. Thank you so much!!!â

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Medina
Akansha was terrific in all aspects of our booking with her! She communicated proactively and always responded quickly to our messages, and our dog clicked with her caring and warm personality when he first met her. She sent regular updates throughout the day and made us feel comfortable trusting her with our precious pup! We will definitely be booking with her again.

Shelbee had a wonderful time at Hitoeâs home with Biscuit. She took her on lots of walks, and although Shelbee usually doesnât eat much, I was initially worriedâbut she made sure to give her food and water regularly, and Shelbee finished everything before coming home. I also really appreciated the consistent updates and how thoughtfully she answered all my questions. I would absolutely love to book with her again!

They are amazing. Kai had a very good time and one could tell because he was grinning ear to ear when I went to pick him up. He also got a lot of exercise and they have a very good set up where any dog would be lucky to spend time with them. Serena and her husband are some of the most wonderful people I have come across while using this site. I strongly recommend using their services and I for one sure do look forward for the next time I will need their help with Kai.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your petâwhether thatâs early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Medina commute.
If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
