It has been wonderful to see Mello becoming more comfortable and confident in Cheryl’s care. As a dog with anxiety, we were especially happy to hear that Mello showed very few anxiety-related behaviors during her stay. Mello had a great time spending the day with the other dogs and enjoyed exploring the neighborhood on walks. Cheryl continued to provide plenty of updates and photos throughout the day, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to see how much fun Mello was having. About: I’ve taken care of pets all my life from a blind/deaf Havanese, to a reactive corgi, and an excitable boxer puppy. I’ve spent the most time with my childhood dog who was blind/deaf for the last 4 years of his life which gave me great experience in dog with special needs/senior care. I’ve been lucky enough to get to know a corgi who has many triggers outside and brings new challenges on every walk. My time with the boxer puppy showed me patience and understanding despite his very excitable and strong reactions. I am currently unemployed so my time is dedicated to your pets. I pick up some small local projects that I may work on for a few hours at home. I am happy to fit your care and safety needs in my apartment the same as your home. My home is kept clean with food safely away as well as any choking hazards.

We only will board 2 dogs maximum at a time, so your dog will be a priority when with us! We have plenty of space inside and outside to make your dog comfortable. Dogs are given as much potty and play time as needed in the large fenced backyard.

About: I grew up taking care of my Lhasa Apso. I used to dog sit for my employer who had a minature Shih Tzu. I would take her everywhere with me. I had a Dachshund in my 30’s. I recently was a dog sitter for a friend who has a Terrier. Dogs make me happy. I was thinking of adopting one but decided to join Rover for now. I currently work from home remote, so I have tons of flexibility to take care of a dog. I would take them outside for many walks during the day. I live in an apt with a balcony, so the dog would have free range. I would take them for walks in my area where there is a ton of grassy areas & a walking path. I’m also near parks.

About: I’ve taken care of our rescued toy poodle for the last six years. I also help friends and neighbors to take care of their dogs often, and they return excitedly every time. My two teenagers love dogs, and love to play with and take care of them too. We are only taking hypoallergenic dogs for day care and boarding. Expect lots of walks, potty breaks and play sessions, all in a safe and loving environment. Your dog’s happiness is my ultimate goal! Morning walk is around 7-8am. Mid day walk around 12-1pm. Evening walk around 6-7pm. We also take shorter walks or backyard potty break in between and before bedtime. I live in a quiet neighborhood with trails and dog parks nearby for your dog to explore and have fun in. Your dog is welcome on my furniture, in my backyard, and in an open carpeted area to play in.
