About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.

She went above and beyond by hand-feeding him to ensure he ate, which was incredibly sweet. They also took him for walks, which he loves, and kept me updated with lots of pictures and videos. It was so reassuring to see him happy and well taken care of. I felt at ease knowing my little boy was in good hands. Thank you, Jay and Tony, for your outstanding care and attention!”
“Cynda was working needful with our two Chi's and gave us daily updates and pictures on their adventure. Had a great time with the other dogs ther too, but not without close supervision by Cybda to make sure everyone was getting along and giving some space where it was needed. Definitely looking forward to having them stay here again.”
