“Kaleigh did a great job with our puppy Oxford. She kept us up to date and he seemed to have a really great time while they were together. Being a puppy, you need to give a higher level of care and attention and she definitely was able to do that. Highly recommend!”

About: I am a lifetime dog adorer with a playful husky mix who wishes to open our home to new friends! From years of caring for my own dogs as well as those of friends, family members, and boarders, I have experience with a variety of breeds and temperments. I look forward to hearing how I can best meet the needs of your four-legged family members! I am currently at home full time and can provide steady care with very minimal time away. Activity and playtime is highly encouraged with games and/or walks built in every 2-4 hours. I also have the ability to separate different dog-safe areas as needed to encourage rest and safe feeding. I have a large 4+ft. fenced yard with plenty of room and supplies for tuggers, chasers, and chewers. Indoors includes several safe spaces for dogs to relax out in the open and/or in provided crates.
About: I am a dog lover & have fostered and rescued many dogs. Dogs tend to gravitate to me! My husband calls me the "dog whisperer" Im a long time Seattle resident and dog lover. I recently joined Rover as caring for dogs is my passion! I care for every dog like they were my own with patience safety and lots of love and walks. I use to foster dogs from Gingers Pet Rescue and currently have 2 rescues from them. At one time I had 8 dogs and placed 6 of them in forever homes as Id bring them everywhere from my sons karate class to coffee shops. I grew up with dogs all my life and have rescued and rehomed many dogs that have been neglected or abused. When I see a dog tied up or neglected I offer to take them and rehome them 100% of the time. I care deeply for dogs and am very experienced mostly small and medium size breeds, senior dogs and dogs with separation anxiety and love puppys. I am very patient and will provide them with a comfortable environment. I work out of my home and have very flexible hours as a realtor. So will be home most of the time to watch them. I grew up with dogs all my life and am very good with all types of dogs and their anxiety, Im dependable, communicative and responsive. I have a fully fenced yard and a doggy door for those dogs that are door trained and have 2 dogs of my own that love to play.

“If you are in the position to need someone to watch your fur family member, look no further than Marina and Richard. They took in our 14-week-old puppy two days in a row for daycare. We were able to focus on what we needed to do, knowing she was in good hands. They have a few dogs and daughters who taught our pup some good socialization skills. She came home, happy and tired. We are so grateful for her care!”

About: I have been a pet owner most of my life, starting with cats in my college days, and have consistently been a cat mom ever since. Then Willow joined our family, and I joined the dog camp! Willow loves having friends over, and so in the last couple of years, I have watched a dog when their owners have gone away for short trips, and it has been lovely and fits well with my work-from-home life, and has been a great social time for Willow. I have a teenage son who is with me part-time and who is also a dog lover (he is a big reason we brought Willow into our family). I have experience as a dog sitter from when I was younger, before having kids. Now that one kid is off at college and my youngest is in high school, I have way more availability to take on dog sitting again —this time in my home! I work full-time from home and set my daily schedule so I am available to take dogs for morning and afternoon walks. Generally, I take my dog Willow on a mile walk in the late afternoon or early evening, but I can curtail walks to the needs of your pup! I have a fenced-in yard that my 3.5-year-old dog uses all day long. I am always available to let the dogs in and out at their request. Willow is a super-friendly dog and loves playing with other dogs. I have 2 cats that are neutral when it comes to dogs, generally they just do their own thing, and have been very patient with Willow who does try and play with them.
“One of the best places we found in a decade. They really understand each and every dog. We loved the pics they send while we were in Bora Bora Tahiti. I would highly recommend this place if you love your dog.”

“Chunkie is wiped out after his visit with Alex, which is great!! He's a bulldog so he can be quite pushy and needy. He got some pool time which he loves. Glad he had a good time. Thanks Alex!”

About: I have been a pet owner since I was a child (cats, dogs, hamsters, etc.) and I have a certification in Animal Massage Therapy. I am patient and caring toward all furry friends! I am very comfortable with practicing obedience commands (as parents wish) and have a strong intuition for an animal's wants and needs. I am currently working part time and am home a lot. I have two dogs and a cat of my own that get all of the pets, walks, and yard time they need. Our pets are like our children, and are a priority in our day-to-day. I am adaptable to whatever the client/animal requires. At my home: the yard is fully fenced, and I live next to a city park for ample outdoor time. We have our two dogs to play with and room inside for toy/treat time. Plus lots of comfortable spaces for naps! At a client's home: I will take my cues off of the owners and the dog that is in their own space. I'm also happy to do any cleaning :)
“Hang took wonderful care of my dog and kept me updated throughout the day. She had a fun time playing with Hang’s dogs and her family and looked very happy and relaxed. Will definitely book again!”

“Beacon had a great time with Hannah. He especially loved playing with her puppy Alki and came home so sleepy. A sleepy puppy is a happy puppy. Hannah was super communicative and let us do a meet and greet beforehand which made it more comfortable for us to leave Beacon there for the evening. We would highly recommend Hannah and will definitely use her again.”

I have been caring for dogs for over 15 years and truly enjoy spending time with them. I believe that every dog deserves love, attention, and a safe environment, which is what I strive to provide as a dog sitter. I understand the unique needs and behaviors of different breeds and can adapt my care accordingly. Whether it's a playful pup or a senior dog needing extra care, I'm dedicated to ensuring their well-being. While I am always happy to sit your dog in your home, I am fortunate to also offer boarding at my home. I have an amazing pack who LOVE visitors. My large yard is FULLY fenced with 8ft fencing (no gaps or escape spots). We love to frequent the dog parks in the area (only if permission is granted from visiting dog owner), go for long walks, or just snuggle on the couch. I hope to meet your pup soon! I own my own business and have complete control of my own schedule. Therefore, I am able to take care of your pets during normal 9-5 business hours, holidays, weekends, or even into the evening! I have a quarter acre, 6-8ft high fenced yard that dogs LOVE to run around in. We have a very easy going pack of 3 dogs that get along with all visitors! I also have a vet on call for any consults needed in case of emergency. When I am in a client's home, I am diligent about scheduled walks, medication, and meals. I always ensure the home is left as clean, if not cleaner, than when I arrived. I always strive to treat a house/dog sitting job in the manner that I would want my sitter to treat my own home.
“Sarah was really terrific with our pup and was very communicative! We tend to get nervous with our pup as he can get overstimulated in new environments, but he handled it great and we know Sarah had a lot to do with that and making him feel comfortable. We'd definitely recommend Sarah!”

About: Board and Train is frequently ineffective, especially in a kennel environment. Let me housesit and train your dog using the environment where the training needs to continue working! I have worked as a professional dog walker for 5 years. It is the best job ever. Dogs are adorable and hilarious, yes, but the part I really love is trying to understand the motivations behind each dog. I know, food and walks, duh! But since adopting my high-anxiety dog 6 years ago, I have realized there is so much more to the doggie brain. Dog park trips are like an anthropological study for me!! I like to think I'm the Jane Goodall of dogs; I'm flattered when they confuse me for one of their own. Living among the canines has come very naturally to me, and frequently worry about the diminishing appeal of the human world. My mother has legitimate concerns that I'll never find a husband. Some have called me a dog whisperer, to which I say "Have you ever met a dog that whispers?" You can think of me more like a translator. Booking with me helps fund my education so that I can one day save the world. My dream is to help troubled kids find the peace and compassion that I have found in my love for animals. I currently work from home and have open availability. If your dog cannot be left alone, they won't be. My own dog does not like to be separated from me, thus I'm comfortable arranging my life around the needs of dogs!! I use extreme care in assessing the environment to experience it the way your dog is, thus better understand behaviors and antecedent cues, and what is reinforcing the behavior.
