“We started having Johnnie watch our new puppy Thor several weeks ago for day care (2-3x week) and just recently had our first overnight stay with him (2 nights/3 days). I cannot recommend Johnnie enough! He's been a dream to work with. He is an animal/dog lover, who truly cares for your pet as his own. He has a dog named Star who is super friendly, a sweetheart, and great with other dogs (she loves puppies). Johnnie is great at communicating, he responds to all questions/requests/texts very quickly. He also is VERY flexible and has been great at accommodating our sometimes short notice asks. :) He has a great house for pets, it's open, has a big backyard for running around, AND is super clean, you would never know any dogs were there. Our puppy Thor loves going over to Johnnie's house and always comes home super exhausted from playing all day. I would highly recommend sending your little loved one to Johnnie. ”

About: I have been around and taken care of many dogs since I was little. All of which have been cared for like my own child, I spent every minute I could with those pets. I have administered medication to my dog through a syringe of his mouth before, and I have been taught how to do a Heimlich maneuver. I have taken care of, played with, and walked my best friend's and uncle's dogs throughout the week or weekend when they are away. Thanks to the flexibility of my job, I have a lot of freedom in creating my own schedule, which allows me to simply manage my time and explore my own interests. I have a big fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, exercise, and enjoy outdoor time. When caring for your pet, I will maintain their routine and familiar environment to minimize stress, while making sure they have access to fresh water, clean bedding, and familiar toys to keep them comfortable and happy.

About: Raised around dogs (and cats) and would love to care for your pets in my home or yours. Comfortable with senior dogs as well as others. I am retired and available any time. I would need a couple of days' notice, preferably. I live in an apartment with a beautiful dog-walking area and nearby parks to walk in. I no longer have pets of my own, having just lost my 17-year-old Rat Terrier. I am comfortable with all dogs and cats. I can administer medications and make sure they feel safe with me. I don't push, but let them come to me when they feel ready. Separation from you is anxiety-inducing, and I do my best to calm them and let them now they are not alone.

About: Life has always meant enjoying dog relationships. Dogs visiting here at Twin Spruce Cottage are treated as if they are my own, enjoying a home setting & an attentive human. My initial posting with Rover.com was years ago. At that time circumstances changed so it wasn't until this last summer of 2025, that I happily began to board dogs again. I was raised to understand dog behavior and to be comfortable around all types of dogs. Our last dog was 110 lbs of gorgeous (& alpha) Flatcoated English Retreiver. He passed at 14. Now retired full time, I volunteer with dogs when I have the opportunity. I understand how to identify dog behaviors & work with them. I was a volunteer at a canine rescue program from 2001 through 2016, working both in the facility and fostering dogs who were waiting placement. I am capable of handling all sizes of dogs & willing to adjust to the individual needs of your dog. I have a dog friendly yard and do walks each day to keep them busy. There are comfy, upholstered large dog beds to lounge on and toys for play. I also am available for dog walking near me in Skyway WA. Unfortunately, dogs with special needs, unspayed females or dogs who require medication be given are not accepted. I am retiree who walks daily ~ without my own dog these days. Dog walks are provided in daylight hours and are available by appointment. Schedule availability varies. I have a fenced yard which is dog friendly with room to run, lots of shade trees & some artificial turf developed especially for dogs. When in the house no dogs on furniture or beds but comfy dog beds are waiting. Dog guests who are boarding are walked 45-60 minutes per day which is included in daily rates. Your dog will be the only dog in my care while boarding > unless your family has 2 dogs you wish to board. There is a maximum of 2 dogs in care. Daycare is available. About: I have worked with dogs of all ages since I was 15; From helping a family member who breeds English Bulldogs deliver many litters of puppies, to caring for my own 3 dogs and our now passed friends of various breeds and sizes. I also have experience with all types of cats from home bodies to barn dwellers, as well, assisting in kitten care. I want to give your pet the same love and care you do and they deserve! I do a few oddball jobs here and there but a lot of my schedule is made up on my own accord so I am fairly flexible! I have 3 beautiful dogs and 4 cats 2 of which reside more to the outdoors. About: Hello! My speciality is taking your dog(s) for a good run/jog, and returning them happy and hungry, ready to conk out! At a pace tailored to their needs/abilities, I can handle any age/size and any energy level! I find that most dogs respond well to an energetic/playful pace, with minimal leash pressure/guidance, they want to GO. I always stay aware of where their attention is at, if they need a bathroom/scent marking break or a chance to investigate a good smell, or a panting breather (or if I do), I will of course cater to that! I Prefer 60 min sessions, 2.5-5 mile jogs depending on the dog's capability and neighborhood terrain. Comfortable with 1-3 dogs per run, it's easier if they are of similar pace, but I'm okay managing being pulled by the leader, don't worry, it won't transfer to dragging the slowpoke! 11 Years of experience, just new to this platform, curious how much it will help grow my customer base, what with a more open schedule this fall/winter. I know there are some Huskys, some Sheepherders,Mountain dogs and some Malinois that are dying to join me! I find these guys endurance carries further than the pure speed of the sprinter dogs, but of course all are welcome in hand! Prices are set with the jogging+ pace in mind, if just looking for a true Walking pace(usually for the elderly canines), I'm open to offering a lower walking rate. My schedule is fairly open at the current point in time, only a few credits worth of classes and recreational sports, otherwise if within a reasonable distance I should be available most days/evenings I do not offer boarding, my lease is a no pet lease, but in terms of dropping in to a client's home, I have pride in upkeeping the utmost integrity, and basically act as if under constant surveilance at all times, mainly by my own conscience, but likely by home security as well. About: I have 10 years of pet-sitting experience, with a diverse range of dog and cat bread knowledge. I have good experience with Pit-bulls and love them dearly. I am a Full-Time CSI college student with a Junior software development position. This leads me to be home most of the work week and allows great flexibility for me to allocate care for other matters of importance. Pets are social and require steady interaction throughout the day. For dogs, I will at minimum take them out on long trail walks twice during the day, early mornings and mid-afternoons. I feed animals twice daily, early mornings and late afternoons. Cats will have litter changed no less than 4 times

“Wanqing was wonderful! She took care of my dog, Goldie, in my home for the afternoon. Goldie rarely lets anyone pick her up, but she was sitting in Wanqing's lap when I got home. “Pros: Ginny seemed to have a great time, and Yuliia seems to really like dogs and treat them well. She is very responsive to messages which is great. We appreciated her daily photos/videos, and she followed our instructions. She was agreeable to a meet & greet beforehand. Our dog has never been with a cat, so she even had a friend watch her cat during the stay to accommodate our dog, which was very kind. Cons: Communication was tricky as English is not her first language. Communication (possibly cultural differences?) was an issue especially with pickup and dropoff. Yuliia seemed to have an inconsistent work schedule and changed the time for dropoff and pickup at the last minute, which was confusing and stressful. At pickup, she was at work and none of my dog’s items were packed, resulting in us leaving some items by accident and needing to schedule another time just to pick them up. Her teenage son was the one who met us at pickup and her friend during pickup of the items, so she was actually not there at all either time. Our dog did seem happy, so overall the stay went well; I just would hope there is better communication next time.”
“Leah and Leio (and their kids) were so loving towards Luca and went out of their way to treat him like family during his stay :) We received updates and photos often, which we loved! When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”
