“If there were more than 5 stars I would select them all. I cannot recommend her enough! She took incredible care of Loki and truly treated him like royalty. Not only did she make sure he got plenty of walks and attention, but she also groomed him and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout his stay. What I appreciated most was her excellent communication. She sent frequent updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about Loki, and I came home to a happy, healthy, and well-loved pup. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Kizzie and her mom are just the greatest, they really do care for your pet. As a new pet owner with a hectic work schedule, I was beginning to thinking I made a mistake in adopting my beautiful kitten, Galaxy. Coming across Kizzie has been a blessing. Her home is beautiful, warm, and safe. She has designated area for your cats to roam and play. She gave me a peace of mind with detailed updates on Galaxy was doing as well as photos and videos. My cat doesn’t eat much which worried me a lot, I dropped off wet treats for her. Kizzie gave her the wet treats and her first wet food! She was generous enough to give me some extra cans for Galaxy to eat at home! I can’t recommend Kizzie enough, if you want your fur baby to be in a loving home where their well-being and enrichment is prioritized, Kizzie and her beautiful mom are it for you. Also, Kizzie does have a cat herself. Beware, he will steal your heart ?.”

“I couldn’t have been more at ease with Deborah taking care of my dog while I was abroad. She provided daily photos and updates that made me feel so reassured. I came back to a very happy and well cared for pup, and it was clear she treated him with so much love. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a reliable sitter.”

“Wanqing and her husband were excellent with my pup! I am visiting from out of the area and she accepted my last minute booking as I was planning a hiking trip to Mt. Rainier (where most of the hikes are not dog friendly). She was attentive to my dog and took him on several walks and even to the dog park. She communicated well throughout the stay and sent pictures and videos! Kado left happy and tired! Will definitely rebook if I am in the area again.”

“Our dog had a wonderful stay with Loic and Kristen! They were so kind and easy to communicate with. Our dog had a birthday during her stay with them and they had some special approved treats and birthday signs ready for her! They sent lots of pics and videos, multiple times a day and took her on many walks. Super quick to reply over the app. Highly recommend!”

Lots of updates and snuggle photos let me know my girl was well loved while I was gone for the week. Very grateful for such quality care and will definitely be reaching out for future boarding needs!”

“Rosalind was amazing with dog sitting my Shiba inu. He is a very high energy dog and she was able to make him feel right at home. Pictures were always provided and she'd frequently take him on dog walks. I believe he enjoyed his stay and would certainly book another boarding with Rosalind in the future, very appreciative of her help and service with caring for my dog for several weeks.”

Happy to have found her on Rover since she lives in my neighborhood and Boba is used to the quiet streets.”

“It was my first time using Rover, and I could tell my dog enjoyed staying with Chuk. She sent daily updates and was responsive to all my questions. I had to drop my dog off early in the morning and pick her up late at night, which can be challenging, but she was incredibly flexible with the timing. Thank you so much!”

“Ella was amazing! This was my first time using Rover, and the entire process was incredibly easy. I needed someone on short notice, and Ella was happy to help by spending time with Kya. She was very responsive, friendly, and kept me updated every day with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. Kya looked so happy! From the moment they met, she liked Ella right away, and it was clear she was comfortable with her. I would absolutely recommend Ella to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. On a side note—and don’t quote me on this—but I think she even watered my plants! I never asked her to, and I definitely wasn’t expecting it. If she did, that was such a thoughtful and appreciated surprise. Thank you Ella, you will definitely be my to go person for Kya’s care needs”

“Alex took great care of our cats and is a lovely person! They were patient with our shy kitties, left detailed notes each day, and did great giving meds. About: I've had cats my entire life and currently have one senior kitty who rules our house as the queen. I am comfortable medicating and giving subQ fluids. I also worked professionally with exotic cats (lynx, serval, fishing cat, clouded leopard, bobcat) as a zookeeper and am comfortable with early generation hybrids.

About: I've owned 2 wonderful boys over the years, my last was unfortunately found to have FLV shortly after I took him in so have a lot of experience in dealing with medical issues, providing comfort, reading body language and patience with kitties. I regularly watch my loved ones cats when they are away, and know how to deal with shy and attention needing cats and love every minute!
About: Hi there my name is Katie and I’ve been pet sitting/ housesitting for about 8 years now. I love what I do and I go above and beyond when it comes to taking care of your pet(s) and home. Not only do I provide top quality care and lots of cuddles and love for your pet(s) but I also bring in packages and mail, do walks, water any plants, take trash and recycle out to the curb, give plenty of updates with pictures if requested, and finally I will leave your home better, than when I first arrived. Im still available for housesitting this Christmas and I’m still available for housecalls so I would reach out soon to make sure that your home base is covered while you are away! Thank you to everyone ☺️ I will have the capability to work around the needs and wants that you have for your animals because I’m self employed with the ability to design my own schedule. I’ve been doing this for a long time and one thing I know is to go by the comfort level of the pets. Lots of times I’ve worked with rescue dogs who have a hard time meeting new people. In cases like those I follow the dogs lead. I am in their space, therefore trust must be built, some more slowly but in the end, I aim to keep everyone safe and happy.
About: I love my own dogs and have room in my heart for your dog too. I love running the neighborhood and the CRT and am willing to do whatever works best for your pup. I love early morning especially when it’s warm out. During the school year I can walk or run your pup before and or after school. I don’t offer the service of pet sitting or taking pets into my own home for care. But I am perfectly happy coming by to pick up your dog for a nice long walk or run and run after the run or walk I’ll make sure your dog is safely back in his home or yard and has water and everything it needs for the day.

“I couldn't ask for a more thoughtful sitter to care for my two cats! Nazli maintained great communication during their visits and made sure both feline friends were happy in my absence. I would definitely book again.”

About: I have been taking care of and living with dogs and cats of every kind since I was 11 years old. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets for many years. I believe every animal has a right to a caring and healthy environment where they can thrive and live their best life no matter what age, size or special needs they may have. I have taken puppy training course and will be happy to help teach your puppy manners. Also, I have experience giving senior pets medications and special care in their older years. I can administer first aid in every minor or major situation as needed. I work full time as an accountant but Thursday and Fridays work from home and I am available to care for your fur-baby those days through the weekend. I am very hands on and will show your pet a great deal of physical and emotional love. I have a fully fenced and large back yard for running around, with two friendly pups of my own to play with your baby. I have experience crating dogs and cats as well as letting house broken pets discover and roam around my pet safe home.

About: I’m a gentle and active pet lover with lifelong experience caring for animals. I currently have a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd and have grown up with pets, including cats, a Doberman, and another Aussie, so I’m comfortable with many breeds and personalities. I love staying active with dogs and understand how important both physical exercise and mental stimulation are. I enjoy walks, playtime, and enrichment activities that keep dogs happy, balanced, and well-behaved. I’ve also cared for cats and understand their unique needs and routines. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and engaged while their owners are away.

“Thank you Cheryl for taking such good care of Molly and also crating her, as requested. She had the best day playing with your pup and also being loved on. Epic levels of photos and updates throughout the day which was above and beyond!”

About: I have had dogs of varying sizes and temperaments. from a docile Pitbull who loved to make a friend on the street to a tiny Chihuahua who is a true dog’s dog. I have gone through potty training and basic command this year with my dog, so I’m very familiar with sticking to training! I’m currently working an hybrid schedule and I have plenty of time to be your pet’s new pal! With a flexible schedule, I am able to meet the needs of many pets. Whether that’s more frequent potty breaks or going to their weekly park date. For those staying in my home, either my wife or I are usually home during the day. Our dog just vibes out wherever while we work from home. Dogs are allowed on furniture. I am all about keeping pets on their schedule as best as possible. I like continuity of what’s the norm for them. If they have strict meal and potty times I will follow them. If they love an enrichment adventure or puzzle I’ll get that all set up! I’ll take plenty of fun pictures with silly captions to keep you up to date!

“Chunkie is wiped out after his visit with Alex, which is great!! He's a bulldog so he can be quite pushy and needy. He got some pool time which he loves. Glad he had a good time. Thanks Alex!”

“Very happy with Tamar’s daycare for Roca. He comes home tired out from all the playing with other puppies. Great for his socializing skills. Love the pictures provided for each visit.”

About: I'm the person everyone in my life calls when they go out of town — not because I'm just a "dog lover," but because the people closest to me know their dog is in the best possible hands with me. That trust has been earned, and I don't take it lightly. What sets me apart is that I'm educated in dog behavior. I understand body language, breed-specific needs, and I take the time to actually learn your dog — how they communicate, and what they need to thrive. Every dog is different and I treat them that way. I have a dog of my own, so I know firsthand what it feels like to leave your dog with someone else. I understand that your dog is an extension of you, and I bring that same level of care and intention to every dog I look after. While dogs are not my full-time job, I worked for a friend’s successful dog-hiking and boarding company, and through that I gained much of my dog boarding experience. I now have a small but steady roster of my own personal clients. When you leave your dog with me, you're not just hiring a sitter — you're leaving them with someone who genuinely puts their needs. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine because I work remotely from home and I'm not tied to a desk. Your dog won't be waiting around for attention- they'll be folded right into the full, active day I already keep with my own dog, Charlie. I walk 5 miles a day, rain or shine. The only exception is extreme heat, but rain never stops us. Here's what a typical day looks like: Morning: Before I start work, the dogs get fed and then we head out for a 3-mile morning walk around the neighborhood. After the walk, they're free to burn off any remaining energy in my fully fenced backyard. Afternoon: Around 2-3pm we head out for a second walk. Evening: After dinner, we take one last short neighborhood walk before settling in for the night. In between it's all rest and play, however your dog prefers to spend it. In my experience, dogs slot right into this routine and love it - but I'm always happy to adjust based on your dog's individual needs. When your dog is in my home, they're treated like they're my own- because that's genuinely how I approach it. My backyard is fully fenced and dog-safe, free of harmful plants or obstacles, with both sunny and shaded spots so they can settle wherever they're most comfortable. Inside, there's plenty of space for your dog to spread out and make themselves at home. There's a cozy dog bed in the living room, OR room for your dog's own bed if they're more comfortable with something familiar. Beyond that, dogs are welcome on the living room couch, the loveseat in my office, the couch downstairs in the basement, and the guest bedroom. The only place that's off limits is my personal bed, but outside of that, they're free to nap and rest wherever they feel most at ease. If you prefer your dog to be crated, I'm happy to accommodate that too- whatever makes your dog feel most secure and at home. I believe dogs settle best when they feel like they belong in the space. That's the environment I try to create.

“I couldn’t be happier with the care Quinten provided for my dog Penny. From the moment we met, it was clear they had a genuine love for animals. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, from newborn puppies to senior dogs with special needs. I love playing fetch, cuddling on the couch for quiet time as well as running around together in the terraced backyard. If you’re looking for a mini summer camp for your pup, no matter their size or age, you’ve found the right place! I work from home as an artist with 2 small dogs that love meeting new friends! I’m home Monday- Friday and several weekends each month. I also have a separate living room for your cat where it will have the run of the place without other pets. I don’t have children, I have dogs. They sleep in the bedroom and I take them everywhere; camping, roadtrips, and I’ve even taken them abroad with me for vacation!
“Our Dog Loki, who is very shy, took a liking to Elan very quickly. He loved being dropped off at her home for daycare. What better sign of approval do you need than that?!”

About: Life has always meant enjoying dog relationships. Dogs visiting here at Twin Spruce Cottage are treated as if they are my own, enjoying a home setting & an attentive human. My initial posting with Rover.com was years ago. At that time circumstances changed so it wasn't until this last summer of 2025, that I happily began to board dogs again. I was raised to understand dog behavior and to be comfortable around all types of dogs. Our last dog was 110 lbs of gorgeous (& alpha) Flatcoated English Retreiver. He passed at 14. Now retired full time, I volunteer with dogs when I have the opportunity. I understand how to identify dog behaviors & work with them. I was a volunteer at a canine rescue program from 2001 through 2016, working both in the facility and fostering dogs who were waiting placement. I am capable of handling all sizes of dogs & willing to adjust to the individual needs of your dog. I have a dog friendly yard and do walks each day to keep them busy. There are comfy, upholstered large dog beds to lounge on and toys for play. I also am available for dog walking near me in Skyway WA. Unfortunately, dogs with special needs or who require medication be given are not accepted. I am retiree who walks daily ~ without my own dog these days. Dog walks are provided in daylight hours and are available by appointment. Schedule availability varies. I have a fenced yard which is dog friendly with room to run, lots of shade trees & some artificial turf developed especially for dogs. When in the house no dogs on furniture or beds but comfy dog beds are waiting. Dog guests who are boarding are walked 45-60 minutes per day which is included in daily rates. Your dog will be the only dog in my care while boarding > unless your family has 2 dogs you wish to board. There is a maximum of 2 dogs in care. Daycare is available. For further information on daycare, please contact me. Dog walking is also available, in my local area. Inquiries are welcome.
About: I have always been an animal lover. That early love for animals led to a 15 year career as a zookeeper taking care of all kinds of animals. I was also a veterinary assistant for 3 years. I have experience with (and am comfortable caring for) birds, reptiles, invertebrates, aquatics, and all sorts of mammals. I am comfortable giving medications and subQ fluids if needed. I'm also a confident trainer and more than happy to work on behaviors with your pets. I'm currently a stay at home mom but my little one has started preschool so I have a fair amount of free time during the days. I'm excellent at following directions and will offer your fur baby the highest level of care in your home and on walks. I am happy to feed, change waters, clean litter boxes, and provide play time.

About: Growing up in Alaska, I was surrounded by a pack of 12+ dogs, which gave me hands-on experience caring for animals from an early age. I helped feed, clean, supervise, and create safe, enriching environments for each of them. As an adult, I’ve expanded that same level of care and attention to cats as well, including experience supporting senior pets and providing gentle hospice and end-of-life care for both dogs and cats. I deeply value the comfort, dignity, and quality of life of every animal I care for. It would be an honor to help care for your beloved four-legged family member with patience, compassion, and attentiveness. With a flexible weekly schedule supported by my household situation, I’m able to devote consistent time and attention to pet care, ensuring reliable visits and attentive, compassionate care for your pets. I offer loving, reliable care in both my home and my clients’ homes, always working to keep pets comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible. About: Hi! I’ve been a passionate dog lover and caregiver since I was 18. Beyond walks and cuddles, I’m deeply interested in dog training and hold certificates in clicker training and canine freestyle from the Karen Pryor Academy. For six years, I cared for a family’s pack, including a senior pup with multiple health issues and another with a heart condition. I’m very comfortable administering medications and providing thoughtful, specialized care. I’m especially experienced with short-nosed breeds like Boston Terriers, pugs, and bulldogs as well as working breeds like German Shepherds. Each breed has its own quirks and charms, and I love them all! I also work full time as a bartender, but I’m happy to create a schedule that fits you and your pet’s needs: whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. Important: I do not use or support e-collars, prong collars, or any punishment-based training methods. I am fully committed to positive reinforcement, fear-free care, and your dog’s emotional wellbeing. Above all, your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort come first. From playful enrichment to gentle senior care, I’m here to keep your pup feeling loved, relaxed, and right at home. I’m a full-time bartender and typically work 4–5 evening or night shifts each week. That means my days are mostly free and flexible: perfect for walks, playtime, training sessions, or drop-ins. Because of my schedule, I can often give your pup extra company and enrichment during the daytime hours when many owners are away. I’m also happy to work out a routine that fits your dog’s needs, so they feel loved, comfortable, and cared for even when I’m at work in the evenings. I will adjust my care to follow the rules and structure you already have for your pet and your home. It’s essential that you know you can trust me to respect your space, your routines, and your dog’s needs. My goal is always to keep your pet feeling safe, happy, and comfortable just like you would.

Weekdays I am available early mornings to afternoon until 4 pm. Weekends: depending, case by case basis. Sundays after 12 pm. Please write in advance. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow their routine closely, ensure they are always supervised, and adjust care based on their needs. I provide a calm, positive environment and keep your home clean and respected while caring for your pet. I also make sure they get both physical exercise and mental stimulation through safe, engaging activities.

“I highly recommend Molly for dog sitting in her home. She did everything possible to ensure my anxious Chihuahua was happy and comfortable. He ended up having a great time! We will definitely book with her again.”

“Patricia and her family took such good care of Hope! We could tell she had a great time and was happy when we picked her up. We look forward to having Hope stay with them again.”

“Ashley took awesome care of and provided a calm, happy environment for my animal-reactive senior pittie while also rolling with my dog's developing medical/prescription needs in the leadup to her stay. Lots of updates and snuggle photos let me know my girl was well loved while I was gone for the week. Very grateful for such quality care and will definitely be reaching out for future boarding needs!”

“Daria was fantastic. Very responsive, we received many pictures and updstes throughout our pups stay. From the moment our dog walked through the door she was welcomed and I felt 100% confident that are dog would be well looked after. 10 out of would use Daria's services again.”

“Tamar and Amy are awesome with my dogs and they are very well cared for! My pups always come home tired and happy! Highly recommend for day care and boarding!”

“Pros: Ginny seemed to have a great time, and Yuliia seems to really like dogs and treat them well. She is very responsive to messages which is great. We appreciated her daily photos/videos, and she followed our instructions. She was agreeable to a meet & greet beforehand. Our dog has never been with a cat, so she even had a friend watch her cat during the stay to accommodate our dog, which was very kind. Cons: Communication was tricky as English is not her first language. Communication (possibly cultural differences?) was an issue especially with pickup and dropoff. Yuliia seemed to have an inconsistent work schedule and changed the time for dropoff and pickup at the last minute, which was confusing and stressful. At pickup, she was at work and none of my dog’s items were packed, resulting in us leaving some items by accident and needing to schedule another time just to pick them up. Her teenage son was the one who met us at pickup and her friend during pickup of the items, so she was actually not there at all either time. Our dog did seem happy, so overall the stay went well; I just would hope there is better communication next time.”

“She took care of Zeus like it was her's,and during a travel trip going through bad weather we were delayed on picking up Zeus so he had to stay a few more days, which Tu didn't have any problems with, she can keep Zeus anytime if we need her assistance again, Thanks Tu.”

“Great stay with Cheryl, Rico, and Ken. Our dog was well cared for and the family provided multiple pictures a day. Very happy with their communication and appeared to make our dog feel at home.”

“Hillary is my favorite so far! After my first experience with her I left knowing my dog has met a great family that loved to have him! She will be My go-to girl from now on”
