About: I treat each pup like part of the family—whether that means sticking closely to your dog’s routine, giving extra cuddles, or providing gentle care for seniors or high-energy playtime for puppies. My home is safe, calm, and dog-friendly, with plenty of room to relax or play. I send regular updates and photos, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pup is in loving hands. As a retiree, pet care is truly a part of my everyday life—and something I genuinely enjoy. Since I’m home full-time, your dog will never be left alone for long periods and will receive constant attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. My daily routine is built around keeping dogs happy and comfortable, from morning walks and playtime to relaxed afternoons and evening cuddles. I keep a calm, quiet home where dogs can feel safe and relaxed, and I’m always available for feeding, potty breaks, or just spending quality time with them. When pets stay in my home, I treat them like one of the family. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—including feeding schedules, walk times, play habits, and bedtime routines—to help them feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. My home is clean, quiet, and dog-friendly, with plenty of space for lounging, supervised playtime, and cozy naps. I give each dog plenty of personal attention throughout the day, whether that means going for walks, playing fetch, or just offering a warm lap to curl up on. If your dog needs medication, special meals, or extra care (like for puppies or seniors), I handle it all with patience and attention to detail. I also keep pet parents updated with regular messages and photos, so you can rest easy knowing your pup is in good hands.

Whether your pup loves a brisk walk, extra sniffing time, or plenty of belly rubs, I'm here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I'm reliable, attentive, and excited to get to know your furry family member. I can't wait to meet your best friend and become their new favorite walking buddy! I work from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. They won't be left alone for long periods and will receive regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of love. I do my best to maintain their normal routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and right at home while you're away. In my home, your pet will be treated like part of the family. I'll follow your pet's usual routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and at home. For drop-in visits or care in your home, I'll make sure your pet has everything they need during each visit. This includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or walks, playtime, lots of love and attention, and, of course, plenty of cuddles if they enjoy them. I’m a repeat client of Chuk’s and couldn’t be happier with the care she provides for my senior dog. She’s incredibly kind, communicative, and always goes out of her way to make sure my dog is comfortable and well cared for. It’s such a relief knowing my pup is in such good hands. Chuk is also very accommodating and easy to work with. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter!

About: Thank you for considering me. $20 discount for 1st time Rover clients! Please ask me for the promo code before booking with me. I have taken care of rescue and shelter dogs for the past 5 years. I have fostered many dogs with my wife and helped them find forever homes. Enjoy your trip and holiday while your fur baby enjoys a staycation with us. You will never be charged for a late checkout if flight is delayed or due to any other reason. I watch your pup closely through out the day and will send pics/videos to keep you updated. I have a fenced yard. I prefer a meet and greet session with my dog before finalizing the booking so that your pup gets familiar with me and my dog. I consider dogs as family and take care of them as my own. They are not allowed on sofa and beds and inside the kitchen. I walk the dogs twice a day with yard time at regular intervals depending on the weather. We avoid dog parks for our rover dogs. The daily hygiene routine of the dogs includes cleaning of eyes, paws, sanitary areas. If at any time, your pup gets sick, I will notify you and also connect with Rover vet. I can provide the pup with rice and boiled chicken in case of upset tummy. I can provide medication to your pup as and when required. Please make sure the meds are marked and labeled. I can provide with crate, blanket, bowls if necessary. I recommend providing big water bowls for larger dogs as I only small ones. Let me know about the commands or tricks your dog understands and the boundaries practiced at home so that we can do the same. My wife and I are currently working from home full-time. I will be attending to the dog full time and will be available to take for walks, potty breaks, and playtime. I have a fenced yard with outdoor camera. We have two fur babies currently staying with us now. We have crates to crate train the pup. On walks, the pup will always be on a harness with a leash.

This was my first experience using Rover for my 6 month puppy. My sweet girl was loved on while exercising and socializing. It was the perfect scenario for my pup to have when I’m working full days. I will definitely be using again! Mallory sends photos, updates and is wonderfully attentive. She also has a flexible schedule that helps with last minute changes in my own schedule and planning.

Natalie has been day sitting my pup for over 6 months and I can’t say enough good things. My girl always comes home tired and happy, and she starts getting excited as we’re approaching Natalie’s house from miles away. Her communication is clear and consistent and even now after 6 months, I get daily pictures, putting my mind at ease each visit. Clearly she really cares about all the pets she cares for. She also doesn’t take too many dogs at a time and always alerts me if there’s a dog that may be a challenge for mi e so I can decide before the visit how to handle it

Was nervous about leaving Gypsy as she’s only stayed with family and is a very anxious dog but Zee put all the worries to rest and made not only Gypsy comfortable but me as well. Thank you again Zee! Jenny was fantastic. We booked a last-minute dogsit session for our energetic Frenchie. We were nervous as it was the first time we’d left our dog with anyone since adopting her a few months ago. Jenny set up a meet and greet at her home for a few days before and let my dog meet her dogs; she has a great fenced in yard for the dogs to be out in and a safe and climate controlled home. Jenny was responsive and paid attention to all our special requests and gave us photos and updates on a regular basis so we could see how our dog was doing, which was reassuring and helpful to calm my own nerves! Our pup had a great time socializing with her resident dogs, was safe and well looked after. We were very pleased and would absolutely trust her to watch our high energy wild child again.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Orillia

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Orillia on Rover is $27.75 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 4,107 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Orillia. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Orillia commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 4,107 sitters in Orillia, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
