About: I have past experience as a vet assistant. I have a BA in Science (emphasized in animal science) from WSU, so I have experience with small, large, and farm animals. I’m currently working full-time as a licensed dental hygienist, but wanting to do Rover on the side, thinking about getting my own dog but will pet sit for now. Raised my previous dog, Jackie (16), since he was 2 months old! Though he hated it, we had routine vet visits to make sure he was in good health and tackle any problems he had. Losing him to heart failure was really tough and it still feels like the biggest heartbreak even years later. Rover helps to fill an empty space in my life. Free every Wednesday (all day) for pet care. Depending on the week, I can also care for them all day on Thursdays (I mainly work MTF, but sometimes I’ll pick up extra shifts on Th). Watching both days would require more notice. With owners who leave for a longer period of time, I will try to follow their daily routine as closely as possible from owners notes. Provide walks according to schedule and lots play time.

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors cats when she goes on vacation- I volunteer consistently at Regional Animal Services of King County, I also have been involved in animal rescue for about 16 years now. I volunteer for Feral Cat Assistance and Trapping and South County Cats. I also foster animals from the animal shelter. I also have my own animals who are well loved and cared for! 😊 I have open availability at this time as my schedule is not a set schedule with my rescue work. I am happy to set my schedule according to the client’s needs. I usually will care for client’s animals in their home since I have cats of my own. But I do have an area for my fosters in my home. I’ll usually go over to a clients home to check on the animals and tend to them and come back as often as needed depending on what the client asks for.
