I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up with two family dogs and several cats, and now I have a dog of my own. Caring for pets has always come naturally to me, and I genuinely love spending time with all kinds of animals. I also have two turtles at home, so I’m comfortable with a variety of pets and their unique needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping your pet company, I’m patient, reliable, and committed to making sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away.

Gerald took great care of the pets and the house. He communicated an appropriate amount and sent photo updates. I appreciated that he showed up for orientation with questions and engagement.
This is the second time Gerald has taken care of my two dogs age 15 and 6. He is very caring with them and sends me lots of pics. The house was left in perfect condition for my return and I have no hesitation in recommending him.
This was Gerald’s first job through Rover, and I thought he was great, he went above and beyond—battling flooding to get to the house and managing a full day without power. The dogs were well cared for throughout his stay and he sent me lots of pictures which were fun to receive. One of the dogs did manage to scratch a piece of carpet after getting stuck in a room, but he handled the situation responsibly and kept me informed of the situation. Overall, Gerald did a great job, and I would absolutely recommend him to sit for your pets and I will be asking him back to look after mine when I next travel.
Gerald is great - our dogs had never stayed in someone else's home before but did really well at Gerald's house. Gerald is friendly and calm and my dogs responded well to that. He sent pictures and updates regularly, and even reached out to his vet when he had a question about a minor issue with our smaller dog. We were able to completely relax on our vacation without any worry about our dogs. Highly recommend.
