About: I've been an animal lover since I was young.I have three dogs of my own.Which two of them were fosters that I ended up adopting? And one I adopted from texas, I have fostered many dogs and found them great homes from texas and california, mainly they keep in touch with them.I get to keep watching them. But the last foster that I adopted doesn't really want another dog here. She's okay with it, but I really have to watch her so I think it's not time for her to have any more fosters yet.So I would like to help others with their dogs or cats. I am recently retired.Have three dogs of my own am.Looking to be a pet sitter, dog walker.Anything else that could possibly be needed, not looking to board in my home yet. I do have a fenced yard front and back, but not ready to board at my home.At this time. I walk my dogs at the grand view off.Leash dog park often or I can walk your pets on leashes

About: I love animals but have no fur babies of my own. So I really enjoy showering other people's pets with all the attention and scritches I have to give! I have taken care of all kinds of dogs; from chihuahuas to newfoundlands, puppies to seniors, beautiful mutts to regal standard poodles. I am self employed and typically don't work while I'm pet sitting, which gives me lots of flexibility and frees up my time for your fur babies. I stay with animals in their homes so they feel the most comfortable they can while their people are away. I'm fine with animals sleeping in bed with me if that's what their used to as well.

About: Hi! I'm Shirley, a passionate animal lover who believes every walk should be an adventure. Whether your pup loves a brisk walk, extra sniffing time, or plenty of belly rubs, I'm here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I'm reliable, attentive, and excited to get to know your furry family member. I can't wait to meet your best friend and become their new favorite walking buddy! I work from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. They won't be left alone for long periods and will receive regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of love. I do my best to maintain their normal routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and right at home while you're away. In my home, your pet will be treated like part of the family. I have a fully fenced yard where they can safely enjoy outdoor time, along with plenty of playtime, attention, affection, and a comfortable place to relax. I'll follow your pet's usual routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and at home. For drop-in visits or care in your home, I'll make sure your pet has everything they need during each visit. This includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or walks, playtime, lots of love and attention, and, of course, plenty of cuddles if they enjoy them. I'll also follow any specific instructions you provide and send updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.

About: I wasn’t around dogs until I was a young adult and I immediately fell in love. They’re so sweet and funny and adventurous and they all have such different personalities. It’s exciting to see how they interact with new people and new environments. I’m lucky enough to not need to work a full-time job so I get to focus on doing what I enjoy, which is being around animals! It takes a lot of trust between you and the animal, so my approach is always very calm and slow. I don’t want to over excite them or scare them because that can trigger reactivity or cause harm.

About: [Preferred name: Keith , He/They] I’ve helped take care of my family dogs since age 10, most being larger dog breeds (german shepherd, huskies, pitbull). From puppy chaos, to older dog care I’ve seen it all. Willing to accommodate for whatever needs- All dogs have their unique quirks and even if its tucking them in at night, Im up to it! I currently am on medical leave; disability causes physical limitations that are manageable through monitoring/breaks(impossible in food service). My schedule is rather free because of this, allowing me to plan events around pet care rather than the opposite, allowing me to prioritize their care! Best Contact Hours: 8am to 8pm (PT) I remain available for contact through message or call consistently! If desired updates during care may be sent, whether requested beforehand or spontaneously. [including pictures & videos of course!!] I have reliable transportation and am also willing to allow pets in my vehicle. Of course accidents occur, for such I have a waterproof pet blanket to prevent damage of any kind! [accidents or extra cleaning will never bring complaints/charges as it is expected with pets]

About: I have had many different animals over my lifetime. I have puppy sat for many of my friends and family. I have helped train animals as well. I work from home so I am able to stop to take your little one on a walk or snuggles. My week is very flexible. I’ve owned and cared for animals for many years and truly enjoy being around them. Over time, I’ve learned how important patience, attention, and affection are when it comes to keeping pets happy and comfortable. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, or simply providing companionship, I treat every animal with the same care I would give my own. I would love the opportunity to look after your pet and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have always felt a strong passion for animal care & welfare. Thanks to this, I have developed a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals — cats, dogs, fish, rodents and reptiles, just to name a few! I am currently a student working toward a goal of joining vet med with 15+ years of personal experience caring for my own animals alongside friends and family. Rover has been a fantastic way for me to improve my knowledge on pet care and lend a helping hand to owners and pets in need, something that I absolutely love doing! In addition to my life-long experience, I have some skills in veterinary assisting and senior care. I myself have a reactive senior pup and two older cats, all of whom I have raised since they were roughly two months old. I’m currently a part time student with plenty of free time that I would love to dedicate to helping you and giving your furry friend the care and attention that they deserve! While I don’t offer boarding services, I am happy to drop in and look after your furry companions as needed. I am experienced with recognizing animal’s body language along with senior care for pets & am determined to provide a safe, comfortable experience for everyone involved.

About: Growing up on a farm, I learned early on that caring for dogs is a full-time commitment. My experience ranges from managing active outdoor dogs to raising and training new additions to the pack. I specialize in teaching foundational behaviors and ensuring every dog feels confident and secure in their surroundings. I am dedicated to creating a safe, structured environment where your pet can thrive. Whether it’s managing high energy or providing a calm space for relaxation, I treat every dog with the same level of care and attention I’ve practiced since childhood. Pet care is a natural and seamless part of my daily life. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to provide consistent supervision and companionship throughout the day, rather than just in the mornings or evenings. Whether I am hosting at my place or visiting yours, my priority is maintaining a safe and consistent routine that minimizes stress for your pet. Regardless of the location, I emphasize clear communication and will send regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is settling in.

Brandon did an amazing job on my first dog walking appointment with him for my new rescue dog Boo. He was super flexible and friendly and I could tell that he has a lot of experience around dogs. My dog happily went along with him, and the overall experience was awesome. He also shared some really helpful tips for a new dog owner like me. I look forward to utilizing his services on a regular basis.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
