About: I have experience with big dogs, medium dogs, and small dogs. I take great care in updating my clients on what’s happening with their pets. I’m working as a substitute Paraeducator so my days can be flexible depending on circumstances. I’ve stayed overnight in peoples houses looking after their pets while also staying at their place all day I always ask clients when I visit where and when pets are allowed in certain parts of the house and yard. I want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible.
About: I have had pets ever since I can remember! My parents currently have two golden retrievers and two kittens that are well-loved. We raised the dogs since they were puppies, and our former cat was with us until her old age. I am very involved in taking care of the family pets, and I have experience pet-sitting dogs and cats outside of my family. I am here to keep your pet happy and safe! I am organized and passionate, so I can adapt to each pet's unique needs. I love going for long walks or using a toy to keep pets engaged. If requested, I will send photos and check-ins during the visit as well. I am currently an undergraduate student, and I have a part-time summer job as an ice cream scooper downtown! I am not studying in the summer, but I will be studying full-time in the fall. Please discuss with me beforehand how long the pet can be left alone during the day. I am not currently offering boarding services in my home. For overnight pet sitting, I will make sure to discuss the pet's needs in detail before the stay so that I can take care of him/her well. Please tell me how your pet likes to be entertained so that I can give your pet some extra love while I am there!

“I would recommend Shelli to anyone! She is so easy to work with — incredibly responsive, polite, kind, and professional. We were super nervous about using Rover for the first time, but we could not have been luckier to find her. We absolutely plan to continue using her for as long as she wants to walk Aspen. I will recommend her to all of my friends and neighbors. If you are looking for someone you can truly trust with your loved fur babies, Shelli is the perfect choice. She handled our lovely husky lady Aspen wonderfully, and if she can handle a husky, she can handle any dog! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Amazing service! Their walks were always a good distance, and the dogs were so healthy and happy when we came home. I know it can be hard on them when we are gone for more than a couple of days. It was so good to see them well cared for. I can tell they were loved”

“Akira had her first walk with Envee and it was great! Envee was punctual, professional and sent some fun pictures of Akira enjoying her walk. Akira is looking forward to more walks with Envee.”

“We had a very busy day and Hoko was home alone most of the day today, I was preparing for another graduation and needed someone last minute to walk Hoko, Laura was great and I truly appreciate her accepting our request on such a short notice.”

“Adam is a wonderful substitute for our regular Walker. We had a little snafu with the app. He was great communicating with me and we figured out a way to make it all work. I will definitely book him again when needed.”

About: I wasn’t around dogs until I was a young adult and I immediately fell in love. They’re so sweet and funny and adventurous and they all have such different personalities. It’s exciting to see how they interact with new people and new environments. I’m lucky enough to not need to work a full-time job so I get to focus on doing what I enjoy, which is being around animals! It takes a lot of trust between you and the animal, so my approach is always very calm and slow. I don’t want to over excite them or scare them because that can trigger reactivity or cause harm.
About: With a lifetime of dog ownership and a passion for active enrichment, I offer much more than just a walk. I specialize in engaging your pet’s mind and body, whether it’s teaching puppies the ropes, helping dogs gain confidence in the water, or even practicing soccer drills in the yard. From high-energy play to the gentle, attentive care required for seniors, I use my years of experience to ensure your dog stays happy, active, and loved. I work part time from home. My 4yo mini-Aussie is my only employee. We walk in the morning, mid-morning and afternoon but I’m available pretty much anytime as my daughter drives herself now. Whether your dog is walking with me or visiting my home, my priority is maintaining their unique routine while adding expert engagement. In my home, they’ll enjoy a safe, fenced space perfect for our soccer sessions and or puppy training. I provide professional, respectful care for every stay no matter how long or short. About: Having grown up surrounded by animals, I've developed a passion for pet care. With 8 years of experience in house sitting, I'm confident in my ability to provide top-notch care for cats and dogs alike. As a pet parent myself, I understand the importance of ensuring your pet's safety, well-being, and happiness, just as I would want for my own pets. Many of my clients are not apart of rover they have all found me just by “word of mouth” but I figured I’d give this a try because I truly love caring for animals. I currently am working part time so I can easily fit your fur baby’s into my schedule. I own a car so transportation isn’t an issue. With my part time schedule I can be with your pet majority of the time. I always try to ensure they get exercise and extra attention while you’re away because I know they miss you. I love working out their mind with puzzle games as well as their body with walks or play time. As always they get a bunch of love in between.
About: I have loved animals since I was child and helped take care of our German Shepherd growing up. When I was older and got my own place it was finally time to have my own dog and I’ve had him ever since and added a second. I love taking them for walks and swims, playing with them in the backyard and cuddling with them and giving them their pets while lounging around the house. I’m currently not working so I spend all my time with the dogs and love to get out for a long walk with them daily. I have a large, fenced backyard and two friendly and happy dogs at home to keep your dog company. Dog beds and dog friendly couches abound for comfy spots to rest after playing and walks.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Normandy Park
Tyler and Alexis have been amazing! They provide us with great pics and updates on how Kona is doing and how the walks went. They’ve been helping with calming techniques because she is so anxious when dogs are barking at her behind fences and helping to keep her anxiety down with leash reactivity.

For about six months now, Envee has been Akira's regular dog walker, and she's been brilliant. Akira absolutely loves her walks and the time she gets to spend with Envee. I look forward to the photos after every single walk. Envee always captures the cutest, goofiest pictures of her. Highly recommend!!

Lillian was so AMAZING with my baby! I normally only trust my friend w my puppy but Lillian was my sent Angel and gave such a good care to Lucky and toke him to a park for a walk which makes me super happy to see his picture and knowing he was super happy and safe with her 🤗 Thanks a bunch and can’t wait to get your help again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
