About: Hi there! My name is Kimberly, and I’m a proud dog mom to a 5-year-old German Shepherd. I’ve been around cats and dogs my entire life and have also cared for family and friends’ pets over the years. Through that experience, I’ve learned the patience, attention, and care needed to make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well-taken care of. About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to Luna, my sweet 7-year-old Labradoodle. Before Luna, I had two Golden Retrievers in my 20s—so I’ve been surrounded by wagging tails and furry companionship most of my adult life. I work from home, which means I’m around for plenty of walks, belly rubs, and one-on-one attention. Whether it’s a casual stroll or some active playtime, I truly enjoy caring for dogs and making sure they feel loved, safe, and at home. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—I work from home, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Walks are built into my schedule (they’re just as good for me as they are for the dogs!), and I love starting and ending the day with some fresh air and tail wags. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, cuddles, or bathroom breaks, I’m home and available to make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and well cared for. Please note: My condo HOA has breed restrictions in place, so I’m unable to host certain types of dogs. I’m also happy to care for two dogs from the same household, as long as they’re well-socialized and comfortable in a home environment. My priority is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. At my home, pets get plenty of supervised attention throughout the day, regular potty breaks, and playtime—with cozy spots to relax and my friendly Labradoodle Luna as a companion (if they’re okay with other dogs).I always aim to stick to your pet’s usual routine to keep them stress-free.

About: I've been a passionate dog lover my entire life, having grown up with a wonderful canine companion. While my own dog has since passed, my life is filled with joy as the designated 'Auntie' for all my friends' and family's dogs. I'm their go-to person for dog sitting, daily walks, feeding, and providing plenty of affection. You can trust that I will care for your pet with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows for plenty of dedicated time for your pet. My availability is completely open on weekends for services like boarding. During weekdays, I am available in the afternoons and evenings for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care. Your dog will enjoy a consistent routine with lots of playtime and attention. My cozy one-bedroom apartment provides a calm and secure home environment for your pet. The layout allows me to provide constant, direct supervision, ensuring your dog is always safe and receiving plenty of attention. Since I don't have a yard, all potty breaks and exercise consist of multiple, structured leashed walks throughout the day in my safe neighborhood. About: I Could Be Your Dog’s Best Friend! At a music festival over Labor Day weekend, I met a woman who needed someone to watch her Black Lab for a couple of hours. I was available, so we took her over to my tent. The dog immediately began acting as if she were my dog. The situation turned into me watching her for most of the weekend, giving the owner freedom to come and go as she pleased. One evening, her owner came by, so she could take the dog for a walk. And the dog didn’t want to go with her! She had to be coaxed into going out for a walk. She wanted to stay with me at my tent. In early October, I spent a week dogsitting for some family friends. Their Black Lab and I got along very well. So well, in fact, that: On the day after his owners got home, I went to return their spare key and tell them how the week went. As I sat on the couch, visiting with them, I looked down and saw that the dog was laying at my feet. My approach to dogsitting is simple. I will treat your dog as if he/she is mine. At the Home Depot, I am part of the Night Crew. I work only 3 nights per week, 4 hours each night. So, I have plenty of time for caring for your pet(s). I cannot do boarding. I am only available for going to the client's home. On a previous dogsitting job, the entire yard was fenced in. The dog had free access to both the front and back yards. In the morning, I fed the dog, played fetch with him, and left him outside for the day. In the evening, we played fetch for a while. Then I brought the dog inside for the evening, fed him, and spent some time just keeping him company, before going home. I was consistently mindful to close the gate when entering and leaving the yard, and to lock the door when leaving the house.

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! Growing up, I had dogs both big and small, as well as cats. Now I have a dog (June) and a cat (George) of my own. They are the loves of my life! I have experience with puppies and seniors, as well as administering medication to dogs and cats. I’ll treat your pet as if it were my own! I am currently in school, and it is self-paced, so my schedule is quite flexible! I can provide pet care basically any time, and adjust my school schedule accordingly. If I am caring for a pet in a client’s home, I will be sure they feel comfortable and safe with me. If I’m caring for a pet in my own home, it is important that they are comfortable with cats and other dogs. I have a fenced yard with plenty of space to play!

About: I grew up locally in Thousand Oaks. I have a BS in Animal Science from Cal-Poly Pomona in 2009 and Exotic Animal Management and Training program & Zoo management, wildlife education and animal behavior in 2012. My previous employment includes Reptacular Animals, Hollywood Animals, Barkworks, Playboy Mansion (zookeeping) and presently as an animal care officer at Seattle Animal Shelter. My hobbies include my basset Mr.Moo and taking care of my bird Draculina . I have an interest in birds through experience working with parrots in a previous position as a Zookeeper. About: I don’t have any pets of my own so I’m really excited to use this app as a way to give some love and attention to pets with just the bonus of making some side money :) I live in a very nice area with a doggy park and plenty of trails and places to walk! I go on walks all the time here. I’ve had family pets my entire life and have had my own to take care of by myself so I feel I’m qualified to take on this responsibility. I started Rover over a year ago while living in NYC and dog sat nearly every weekend! I’ve had experience with all sorts of pets. From big dogs to small, chill to playful, old to young, etc. I’ve sat multiple dogs at the same time, cared for a deaf puppy, another puppy with a strict schedule who ate specific meals and took medications, and I’ve also sat a cat! My biggest thing is just going to be communication for the animals needs and the owners preferences, so I can do the job successfully. By that I mean what time the animal eats, how much they eat, how often they need to go potty, things the animal likes/dislikes, any concerns the owner has, etc. really just anything the owner thinks is important to know! My time is essentially entirely open! Weekdays, weekends, you name it and I’m there. I just moved to the area from Spokane and I’m still on a hunt for a day job. I may eventually look into joining some extracurriculars, but right now my time is very flexible! I like to make pets that I care for feel at home. They’re always allowed on furniture, they get plenty of love and play time. I love practicing tricks with treats and going on walks in my neighborhood. As for caring for an animal in the clients home, I’ve never done this for multiple days, only to pick up for a walk and then hang out for awhile to provide the puppy some company. Regardless, I would care for the pet in a clients home just the same as I would my own, with of course the added respect to the clients home.
