About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to Luna, my sweet 7-year-old Labradoodle. Before Luna, I had two Golden Retrievers in my 20s—so I’ve been surrounded by wagging tails and furry companionship most of my adult life. I work from home, which means I’m around for plenty of walks, belly rubs, and one-on-one attention. Whether it’s a casual stroll or some active playtime, I truly enjoy caring for dogs and making sure they feel loved, safe, and at home. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—I work from home, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Walks are built into my schedule (they’re just as good for me as they are for the dogs!), and I love starting and ending the day with some fresh air and tail wags. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, cuddles, or bathroom breaks, I’m home and available to make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and well cared for. Please note: My condo HOA has breed restrictions in place, so I’m unable to host certain types of dogs. If you’re unsure whether your pup fits within those guidelines, feel free to reach out—I'm happy to chat and help clarify. I’m also happy to care for two dogs from the same household, as long as they’re well-socialized and comfortable in a home environment. My priority is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. At my home, pets get plenty of supervised attention throughout the day, regular potty breaks, and playtime—with cozy spots to relax and my friendly Labradoodle Luna as a companion (if they’re okay with other dogs).I always aim to stick to your pet’s usual routine to keep them stress-free.
“We had a very busy day and Hoko was home alone most of the day today, I was preparing for another graduation and needed someone last minute to walk Hoko, Laura was great and I truly appreciate her accepting our request on such a short notice.”

About: Hey my name is Atticus, I am 20 years old. I have lots of experience in communication and pet care. I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog-sat for everything from a couple of hours at a time to several days or even a week, and I’m comfortable caring for both individual dogs and households with multiple dogs. My experience includes feeding, walks, playtime, keeping up with normal routines, giving plenty of attention, and making sure pets are comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, and routine, so I take the time to learn what works best for each individual pet. I’ve also cared for cats and birds, including homes with multiple types of pets at once. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions as long as communication is clear and understand how important consistency is when someone else is responsible for your animals. Most importantly, I treat the animals I’m watching like I would want someone to treat my own. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal and their personality. My schedule can vary since I do work full time, but I will always do my best to be flexible and work around your pet’s normal routine. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, and longer stays depending on the day and what your pet needs. I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability ahead of time and make sure we have a plan that works for both you and your pets. If I’m caring for your pet, you can expect me to be reliable, on time, and keep you updated while you’re away. One of the most important parts of pet sitting to me is making sure your pet is just as comfortable with me as I am with them. Whenever possible, I strongly prefer to meet you and your dog before the first sitting session. This gives your dog a chance to meet me while you’re there, get familiar with my presence, and helps us make sure we’re a good fit before you leave them in my care. During that meeting, I also like to learn about their personality, routine, boundaries, favorite things, and anything that might make them nervous or uncomfortable. Every dog is different, and I never want to force an interaction or put an animal into a situation where they don’t feel safe. While caring for your pet, I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, feeding instructions, and any household rules you have in place. I’ll treat your home with the same respect I give your animals as well as my own, and I’m happy to provide photos and updates throughout the stay. My goal is for you to leave knowing your pet is with someone they’ve already met, are comfortable around, and can feel safe with.
About: I have grown up with dogs in the family my whole life of all sizes and breeds. I currently have a small Yorkie who I’ve had since she was 8 weeks old. I’ve always pet-sat and cared for friends dogs over the years as well. I am currently on maternity leave from my job as a flight attendant so I have plenty time for walks and drop-ins to make sure your pet is taken care of. I am currently available weekdays and most weekends! I take my Yorkie, Lulu, on walks most days. I truly enjoy it and look forward to doing the same for your fur baby! Whether they need a brisk walk or just a stroll through the neighborhood, I tailor the walk to your dog’s needs.

About: Hi! My name is Ny’Mari and I’m a recent 2026 graduate of Renton High School and have been caring for pets since I was 10 years old. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have experience with puppies, including reinforcing basic training, routines, and positive behaviors while making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. I’ve also owned and cared for cats, fish, snakes, frogs, and other small pets, so I’m comfortable with a wide variety of animals. In addition, I’m happy to water houseplants and help care for your home while you’re away. I treat every pet like family and strive to provide a safe, fun, and loving environment that gives both pets and owners peace of mind. I have a very flexible schedule and am available 24/7 to care for your pets. Whether you need daily walks, drop in visits, overnight stays, weekend care, or last minute help, I’m happy to accommodate your needs. I make it a priority to give every pet plenty of attention, playtime, and loving care while sticking to their normal routine. When caring for pets in your home, I always follow your instructions and keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. For overnight stays, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved by providing plenty of attention, playtime, meals, potty breaks, and companionship. During dog walks, I prioritize safety by using secure leashes, staying aware of our surroundings, and matching the walk to your dog’s energy level. For drop in visits, I’ll feed your pet, refresh their water, let them outside or clean litter boxes as needed, play with them, give lots of affection, and make sure they’re doing well before I leave. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I went to school to work in zoology then was sidetracked into aviation....would love to find my way back to the animal kingdom and love on some doggies or kitties! I am retired so my schedule is wide open! I have plenty of time to spend focusing on the fur babies that are in front of me. I live in a condo on the beach so we have all day to run around and play in the sea and sand or walk down and look at the boats at the marina
About: I Could Be Your Dog’s Best Friend! Since October of 2025, I’ve become the Primary Sitter for a Black Lab named Tucker. Since his owners are family friends, they do not book me through Rover (Ooh, am I supposed to admit that here?). But I have earned their trust, such that they’ve just given me a spare key to their house, so we’re not handing it back-and-forth every time they go out of town. I’ve had a very good connection with Tucker from the beginning. Given how well he responds to me, I swear he thinks he’s as much my dog as he is my friends’. My dogsitting experience actually began at a music festival, over Labor Fay weekend in 2025. My first day there, I met a woman who needed someone to watch her Black Lab for a couple of hours. I was available. So, we took Aurora over to my tent. She immediately began acting as if she were my dog, and I wound up taking care of her throughout the weekend. At one point, her owner quipped, “She listens to you better than to me!” At the Home Depot, I am part of the Night Crew. I work only 3 nights per week, 4 hours each night. So, I have plenty of time for caring for your pet(s). I cannot do boarding. I am only available for going to the client's home. On a previous dogsitting job, the entire yard was fenced in. The dog had free access to both the front and back yards. In the morning, I fed the dog, played fetch with him, and left him outside for the day. In the evening, we played fetch for a while. Then I brought the dog inside for the evening, fed him, and spent some time just keeping him company, before going home. I was consistently mindful to close the gate when entering and leaving the yard, and to lock the door when leaving the house.
About: I've dog sat for friends and family for years, walking feeding, and accompanying their pets! I have also worked professionally with dogs at a dog daycare at their big dog locations and small dog and puppies' location. I'm currently working part time, so I have a relatively flexible schedule during the week. I am always available for overnight boarding or check ins. I have my own big dog, so I am comfortable working with big dogs. I am committed to the well-being of your pet and value transparent communication with pet owners.
About: I've grown up with pets my entire life, having a cat until I was 17 and helping out with dog sitting and walking for family friends. I've worked primarily with mid sized dogs, but have experience being around breeds like Great Danes and love little dogs as well! I'm currently unemployed but job searching, but that means I will have plenty of time to give lots of attention to any especially needy dogs! I have a fenced backyard with one dog. She's only 3 years old and is a rescued Rhodesian Ridgeback. She's a bit anxious at first when meeting new faces, but she loves most other dogs and will likely be very excited for a new friend! If needed for your pets nerves or your concerns I can keep them gated off from each other.
“Kimee was so wonderful! She was on time & followed all instructions. I really appreciate her last minute help & wouldn't hesitate to use her again in the future. Thanks so much Kimee!”
About: I have been the proud owner of two dachshunds over the last 18 years. They can be a tricky breed but have taught me how to handle their very sweet, yet, at times, very spicy attitude and demeanor. They have given me experience with a high energy breed that can also be reactive. If you need a dog walker that has experience with reactivity and how to manage it on a walk, then I’m here for you. I currently have open availability to focus solely on dog walking. I am in between jobs following a layoff and considering options for continued education. I care for pets as if they were my own. I have experience with dogs who have seizures and also administering oral medications safely and efficiently.

Brandon did an amazing job on my first dog walking appointment with him for my new rescue dog Boo. He was super flexible and friendly and I could tell that he has a lot of experience around dogs. My dog happily went along with him, and the overall experience was awesome. He also shared some really helpful tips for a new dog owner like me. I look forward to utilizing his services on a regular basis.

Laura has been walking my dog Oakley for several months now and seems to do great with her. She is always super communicative and flexible with changes and I get a picture of my girl after every walk. I've been happy with the service and I think Oakley has been too.

Lillian was so AMAZING with my baby! I normally only trust my friend w my puppy but Lillian was my sent Angel and gave such a good care to Lucky and toke him to a park for a walk which makes me super happy to see his picture and knowing he was super happy and safe with her 🤗 Thanks a bunch and can’t wait to get your help again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
