About: I've dog sat for friends and family for years, walking feeding, and accompanying their pets! I have also worked professionally with dogs at a dog daycare at their big dog locations and small dog and puppies' location. I'm currently working part time, so I have a relatively flexible schedule during the week. I am always available for overnight boarding or check ins. I have my own big dog, so I am comfortable working with big dogs. I am committed to the well-being of your pet and value transparent communication with pet owners.
“I would recommend Shelli to anyone! She is so easy to work with — incredibly responsive, polite, kind, and professional. We were super nervous about using Rover for the first time, but we could not have been luckier to find her. We absolutely plan to continue using her for as long as she wants to walk Aspen. I will recommend her to all of my friends and neighbors. If you are looking for someone you can truly trust with your loved fur babies, Shelli is the perfect choice. She handled our lovely husky lady Aspen wonderfully, and if she can handle a husky, she can handle any dog! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Larcy walked our senior pup for us and did a great job. Was very communicative and sent us update photos as well. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future.”

About: I've grown up with pets my entire life, having a cat until I was 17 and helping out with dog sitting and walking for family friends. I've worked primarily with mid sized dogs, but have experience being around breeds like Great Danes and love little dogs as well! I'm currently unemployed but job searching, but that means I will have plenty of time to give lots of attention to any especially needy dogs! I have a fenced backyard with one dog. She's only 3 years old and is a rescued Rhodesian Ridgeback. She's a bit anxious at first when meeting new faces, but she loves most other dogs and will likely be very excited for a new friend! If needed for your pets nerves or your concerns I can keep them gated off from each other.
About: Over the past years, I have had 3 dogs that I currently care for. I teach them tricks, feed, and I'm their person to feel safe to. Staring on June 8th, between September 14th, I will be available, and also on Mondays - Fridays I will be available. The times are 8am-5pm fenced yard with 3 dogs, so they don't run away, they sleep anywhere they want, they have 2 meals a day at the same time every day
About: Hi! My name is Ny’Mari and I’m a recent 2026 graduate of Renton High School and have been caring for pets since I was 10 years old. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have experience with puppies, including reinforcing basic training, routines, and positive behaviors while making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. I’ve also owned and cared for cats, fish, snakes, frogs, and other small pets, so I’m comfortable with a wide variety of animals. In addition, I’m happy to water houseplants and help care for your home while you’re away. I treat every pet like family and strive to provide a safe, fun, and loving environment that gives both pets and owners peace of mind. I have a very flexible schedule and am available 24/7 to care for your pets. Whether you need daily walks, drop in visits, overnight stays, weekend care, or last minute help, I’m happy to accommodate your needs. I make it a priority to give every pet plenty of attention, playtime, and loving care while sticking to their normal routine. When caring for pets in your home, I always follow your instructions and keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. For overnight stays, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved by providing plenty of attention, playtime, meals, potty breaks, and companionship. During dog walks, I prioritize safety by using secure leashes, staying aware of our surroundings, and matching the walk to your dog’s energy level. For drop in visits, I’ll feed your pet, refresh their water, let them outside or clean litter boxes as needed, play with them, give lots of affection, and make sure they’re doing well before I leave. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I've taken care of dogs throughout my entire life, and was active in training my border collie/lab mix Akila in my young adulthood. I have a warm and gentle spirit that tends to put all animals (humans included!) at ease in my presence. I have worked with untrained young dogs, puppies, and I love a challenge! I am currently working a very flexible schedule, so I will be prioritizing bookings from Rover as much as possible! I'm excited to gain more experience with lots of different dogs, as I'm looking to adopt myself. I wasn't allowed to have a dog in past housing, so I'm very enthusiastic about lots of pup time. I do not have a house that is available to take more dogs in for care, so I will only be doing drop-ins, walks, and house-sitting at this time. This may change in the future. In a client's home, I have years of experience house-sitting, babysitting, and I prioritize client's routines and wishes above all else. My desire is to provide a stress-free, pleasant experience for the dogs, so that they are happy and healthy when their parents come home to them!

About: Hi! My name is Joey. I’m a retired military member and former firefighter/EMT currently traveling full-time with my fiancée for her work. I’ve always loved animals and enjoy staying active outdoors, so dog walking is a perfect fit for me. I’ve owned dogs all my life and have owned up to 5 at once. My background has taught me responsibility, reliability, and staying calm in any situation, and I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I would my own. Whether your dog needs a quick walk, exercise, or extra attention while you’re away, I’m happy to help! Available Monday through Friday, usually 4 days a week. As a retired military member and former firefighter/EMT, I’m dependable, attentive, and safety-focused. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they get great care, exercise, and attention during every visit or walk. As a retired military member and former firefighter/EMT, safety and reliability are a huge priority for me. I provide attentive care, follow all owner instructions closely, and make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos during visits and walks.
About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to Luna, my sweet 7-year-old Labradoodle. Before Luna, I had two Golden Retrievers in my 20s—so I’ve been surrounded by wagging tails and furry companionship most of my adult life. I work from home, which means I’m around for plenty of walks, belly rubs, and one-on-one attention. Whether it’s a casual stroll or some active playtime, I truly enjoy caring for dogs and making sure they feel loved, safe, and at home. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—I work from home, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Walks are built into my schedule (they’re just as good for me as they are for the dogs!), and I love starting and ending the day with some fresh air and tail wags. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, cuddles, or bathroom breaks, I’m home and available to make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and well cared for. Please note: My condo HOA has breed restrictions in place, so I’m unable to host certain types of dogs. If you’re unsure whether your pup fits within those guidelines, feel free to reach out—I'm happy to chat and help clarify. I’m also happy to care for two dogs from the same household, as long as they’re well-socialized and comfortable in a home environment. My priority is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. At my home, pets get plenty of supervised attention throughout the day, regular potty breaks, and playtime—with cozy spots to relax and my friendly Labradoodle Luna as a companion (if they’re okay with other dogs).I always aim to stick to your pet’s usual routine to keep them stress-free.
About: I have grown up with dogs in the family my whole life of all sizes and breeds. I currently have a small Yorkie who I’ve had since she was 8 weeks old. I’ve always pet-sat and cared for friends dogs over the years as well. I am currently on maternity leave from my job as a flight attendant so I have plenty time for walks and drop-ins to make sure your pet is taken care of. I am currently available weekdays and most weekends! I take my Yorkie, Lulu, on walks most days. I truly enjoy it and look forward to doing the same for your fur baby! Whether they need a brisk walk or just a stroll through the neighborhood, I tailor the walk to your dog’s needs.

“Lindsey has watched Wally since he was a puppy. She is very trustworthy, reliable, and very knowledgeable on how to take care of dogs! You can just tell she loves dogs, and dogs love her. She has stayed at my house while I've been traveling and I have no doubt that my dog is taken care of, makes traveling very stress free not worrying if your pet is getting proper care or not. I would highly recommend Lindsey for anyone looking for their dog's needs!! She's the best!”

About: Holiday Update: I will be out of town for Thanksgiving but am available the entire month of December. Availability: I do work a full-time job and have a toddler so flexibility works best with my schedule. My work schedule is super flexible so I am available anytime of day (depending on the day) and the more notice the better so I can block out my calendar! I mostly sit for cats as having a flexible drop-in window is best. I love animals! I have had pets nearly my whole life. I started pet sitting when I was very young and had dreams of becoming a veterinarian. I unfortunately can't handle blood so I was unable to live out that dream. :) I had a cat named Clyde that I's had for about 11 years who passed away May 2023 after battling kidney disease and lymphoma for several years. Because of his health issues I am experienced in giving medications (pill and liquid), cleaning out his ears, and even administering an IV drip every other day. I have also administered medications to many other cats and have had no issues. Call me the kitty whisperer! 😊 I also have a lot of experience working with dogs of all sizes on training, feeding, walking, etc. I understand our fur babies are our children and will treat your animals with the utmost care and respect as I would expect the same care to be given to my animal. I am looking forward to caring for your baby! I also have experience caring for other animals such as small rodents (gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, sugar gliders, hamsters), chickens, reptiles, and fish. I am happy to feed your other animals too! I also an happy to do other household help while you are away like bringing in the mail and packages, watering plants, etc. New to Rover? Use this promo code for $20 off your first booking using Rover! ELKEB30957, https://www.rover.com/sit/elkeb30957 My work schedule is flexible which allows me to come in the mornings, some days at lunch, and late afternoons/evenings. I am available on weekends and holidays all day. I can visit your home multiple times per day if needed. I am available for the following 2023 holidays: Labor Day Weekend Veteran’s Day Weekend Christmas time/New Years I always want to make sure you and your animal feel comfortable with me. I always schedule a free meet and greet with new clients to get acquainted with you and your animal so you feel comfortable with me being in your home. I would like specific instructions on anything about your pet that I may need to be aware of. For example, if there are things I can do to make your animal feel more comfortable when I enter and leave, need to check litter box for poops for constipated cats, etc.
About: I Could Be Your Dog’s Best Friend! At a music festival over Labor Day weekend in 2025, I met a woman who needed someone to watch her Black Lab for a couple of hours. I was available, so we took her over to my tent. The dog immediately began acting as if she were my dog. The situation turned into me watching her for most of the weekend, giving the owner freedom to come and go as she pleased. One evening, her owner came by, so she could take the dog for a walk. And the dog didn’t want to go with her! She had to be coaxed into going out for a walk. She wanted to stay with me at my tent. In early October, I spent one week dogsitting for some family friends. Their Black Lab and I got along very well. I took care of him again, for two weeks, from late November through early December. Before the end of those two weeks, he was acting as if he was my dog. After my third time dogsitting for them, between May and June of 2026, they told me to just keep my own copy of their house key. My approach to dogsitting is simple. I will treat your dog as if he/she is mine. This means more than just feeding your dog and making sure he/she has the chance to regularly "take care of business." It means hanging out, spending time and forming a bond with your dog, so that he/she genuinely likes me and would be excited to see me again. At the Home Depot, I am part of the Night Crew. I work only 3 nights per week, 4 hours each night. So, I have plenty of time for caring for your pet(s). I cannot do boarding. I am only available for going to the client's home. On a previous dogsitting job, the entire yard was fenced in. The dog had free access to both the front and back yards. In the morning, I fed the dog, played fetch with him, and left him outside for the day. In the evening, we played fetch for a while. Then I brought the dog inside for the evening, fed him, and spent some time just keeping him company, before going home. I was consistently mindful to close the gate when entering and leaving the yard, and to lock the door when leaving the house.

Laura has been walking my dog Oakley for several months now and seems to do great with her. She is always super communicative and flexible with changes and I get a picture of my girl after every walk. I've been happy with the service and I think Oakley has been too.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
