I am Red Cross certified in CPR and First Aid for both dogs and cats, an active member of PSI (Pet Sitters International) and fully insured. I offer discounts or free nights for bookings over 11 nights. LGBTQ and IPOC friendly. I’ve cared for senior dogs and cats, pregnant cats, litters of kittens and individual puppies and rabbits. Whether I’m walking your dog, or giving your feline medicine, they deserve the utmost in care and compassion. Kathy was the best. I was gone for 7 days and never worried about my dog. She providing twice daily updates with multiple pictures. Very accommodating and let my boy sleep on her bed, just like at home! I highly recommend Kathy with her beautiful yard and generous care she gave my boy and me. Thank you Kathy. Kathy is everything you want in a dog sitter! My anxious, not-very-social dog has a new bestie....Kathy! He had a fantastic stay with photos sent to me of him zooming around the yard or cozy on the couch. We already schedule two more weekends and Mack is excited to return to his new friend, Kathy.
Kathy is the most thoughtful, dedicated and kind sitter ever. She was so careful, attentive and considerate in her care. She took the time to get to know me and ask questions about my dog and her preferences and any special attention she may need to ensure MacKintosh got the best care and felt at home from the start. From the moment she welcomed us to her home with an adorable sign, and the way she was so warm and gentle with introducing my dog to her dog, everything was so thoughtful and intentional. Also, the backyard is not only beautiful but a dream come true for a little doggie. As soon as MacKintosh got there, she was running around and playing with Kathy and her dogs and MacKintosh had the loveliest time. When I picked her up, she was so relaxed and happy and not anxious in the slightest, and it was clear that my dog was loved and cared for with warmth and kindness. I could not recommend Kathy and her husband enough. I will definitely be coming back to her time and again. <3

I’m so glad to have left Teddy at Kathy’s care. From the initial meeting, I knew Teddy would be in good hands. Kathy is very thorough. She asked questions, made sure Teddy would be comfortable, and she really put my mind at ease while I was away. The updates were comforting and Teddy came home tired and happy. I will definitely book again and I highly recommend Kathy to anyone who’s looking to leave your fur baby in great hands.

Schedule
I’m a young retiree who loves to stay active and interact with fur babies of all types and ages. I'm home all day - as is my retired husband. On the rare occasion I have a doctor/dentist appointment, my husband cares for the dogs - so they are rarely alone. Our yard is fully fenced, a half acre and plenty of clean, fresh, green grass to exercise and play in (see photos.) My house is smoke free, air conditioned in summer, and pet friendly with plenty of space for cozy naps and room to play inside and out.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and comfort are paramount as I care for your dog or cat. For your pets safety, I travel with a portable pet first aid kit and pepper spray. In my home I have a full pet specific first aid kit and dog specific activated charcoal for emergencies. In order to give individual care and follow safety protocols, I only board 1-2 dogs at a time. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are my highest priorities.

A typical day
Dog boarding: My fully fenced backyard is a shy half acre of green grass to frolic in. For mental stimulation, I have several dog puzzles and games. On hot days, I bring out the dog pool or sprinkler. Depending on your dogs energy level and exercise needs we do a 25-40 minute walk in the morning - with additional exercise sessions in the backyard for the high energy pups. Depending on your dogs needs, I also offer trips to the dog park at no additional cost. If your pup prefers quiet naps in the sun, I have plenty of space for the fur babies who prefer quiet time to chill and soak up the sun outdoors or indoors. My house is smoke free and pet friendly. Dog Walking: Depending on your pets preference and energy level, we'll walk, jog, and play games. If there is a park nearby we'll check it out.
