“Isa did a great job with our dog, Frida. She’s reliable and communicative, and it’s clear from the pictures that all of our animals (dog and 3 cats) wanted to be around her! We recommend her for your dog and cat care needs, and we’ll definitely be rebooking her again.”

“Alexis was very nice and friendly. Arrived a few minutes prior to the scheduled time to get acquainted with me and the dogs. She knows the area so don't have to explain where she should walk. My dogs loved the walks.”

“Shelli is such a good friend to Dante! She is very considerate and easy to work with and Dante always has such a great time. He loves his daily walks! Thank you, Shelli!”

“Danielle was lovely with our pups. I really appreciated how we did an initial meet and greet with a test walk for our behemoth of a German Shepherd. Her communication was also top notch. Highly recommend!”

About: Hiya! I’m a lifelong animal lover with 3+ years of professional animal-care experience, including working with RASKC, volunteering with RASKC, dog walking, and pet sitting. I’ve cared for animals of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m especially comfortable with senior pets, special-needs animals, allergies, disabilities, large breed dogs,fearful/avoidant dogs and pets who need medications, I can safely administer oral, topical, and injectable medications and am happy to follow your pet’s usual care routine. My favorite part of pet sitting is getting to know each animal as an individual. Whether your dog needs a long walk and a good game of fetch, your cat wants someone to patiently earn their trust, or your senior pet would rather spend the afternoon getting cozy cuddles, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. When I stay in your home, I focus on keeping your pets’ routines as normal as possible so they can stay comfortable in their own space while you’re away. I provide lots of playtime, enrichment, attention, and cuddles! I’m also available for daytime walks and drop-in visits for pets who need some extra exercise, companionship, a potty break, medication, or just someone to tell them how wonderful they are while you’re at work. 😉 I’ll send you regular photos and videos so you can see what your pets are up to and know they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I can care for up to 5 dogs in a home, although I prefer up to 3 so everyone gets plenty of individual attention. I’m also happy to care for any number of cats and have experience with all kinds of feline personalities—from total cuddle bugs to shy kitties and the wonderfully spicy ones. Your pets are family. My goal is for them to feel safe, loved, entertained, and completely spoiled while you’re away! I am available for pet setting full time so I do not have any restrictions on when I am available for stopping by the house for visits or walks while also being able to stay in your home the the majority of my stay while taking care of your animals. I am generally able to assist with same day requests as long as I have met you and your animals first and discussed their needs and your expectations. I bring something a little different to pet sitting: professional shelter experience combined with a lifetime of loving animals. Working with animals professionally has taught me how to read body language, recognize when something is “off,” safely handle a wide range of personalities, and stay calm when the unexpected happens. I’m comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra patience or specialized attention, including seniors, animals with disabilities or allergies, and pets requiring oral, topical, or injectable medications. But experience isn’t the only thing I bring. I genuinely love spending time with animals. I want your pets to have fun, feel secure, and get plenty of attention while you’re away. I’m observant, dependable, communicative, and happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. And I’ll keep you connected with photos and videos throughout your pet’s stay, because I know you'll want to see those adorable faces while you’re away! I want you to not have to worry and enjoy your time away from home as much as possible! Most importantly, I care for your pets the way I’d want someone to care for mine.If I am staying at your home while watching the animals I may have some daytime plans, errands or other clients to visit for a small amount of time please discuss your pets needs with me while booking to ensure there are no gaps in their care due to existing schedule conflicts. Otherwise I will just be at your home with your animals so they get my dedicated attention and I am able to calm any nerves and offer lots of cuddles, play time, enrichment, and exercise. What to expect when I meet you and your animals: When I meet with you, especially about doggos, I will want to understand what verbiage you use for things like "sit" and "lay" so I can use the same terms. It Is also important to me to know what types of training you are working on with your animals, if any, so I can work on the same things with them and continue their training with consistency. I will also work with you to get an understanding of their feeding process and routines so they get their meals exactly correct and at the exact right time.I will do the same with medication details, leashing/haltering and walking paths if any, bathroom schedules and night time schedules. It is very important to me that I am aware of your cats or dog's triggers, if any, so I can better tailor my care to them and proactively keep their environment as comfortable as possible. There is nothing I cannot handle as long as I am educated about the animals needs.

About: I’ve had both my entire life. All of our animals have been rescues, the most recent additions being quite literally rescued from a bush. I no longer live with my dogs, but I was with two dogs, a cat, and 10 chickens. I dog-sit for three family members often and have decided to expand my services. One family member has one large dog who requires a lot of attention due to anxiety and 1 cat. The other family have 3 dogs ranging in different sizes and needs. And finally, for my close friend who has two very active cats. I love being with dogs and cats, whether we’re playing all day or they just wanna sit around and want a lot of petting time. I am available Saturday to Wednesday prior to 9am and after 6pm, but can do a drop in during my lunch break. I am available all day Thursdays and Fridays, and am available holidays. My cat is an indoor only cat. I only take her outside when she’s in her backpack. I completely understand the stress of not letting your pet run out the door. I’m also fully able to crate dogs

About: Experienced and dependable pet sitter with a lifelong background in animal care, having owned and cared for small to medium-sized pets since age 6. I’ve provided pet sitting for family members’ large dogs and cats, handling feeding, playtime, and daily routines with care and attention. I also have hands-on experience raising kittens from just days old, including bottle feeding and monitoring their health. I genuinely love working with animals—especially fluffy ones—and prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. 🐾 I am currently seeking pet sitting opportunities and have a flexible schedule during the week, allowing me to accommodate a wide range of pet care needs, including visits, feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I work all day Saturday, Sunday, and wednesday; I work half days Monday and Tuesday and I am off thursday and Friday. I enjoy spending time with animals and prioritize creating positive, calm interactions—whether that’s playing, comforting anxious pets, or simply keeping them company so they feel safe and cared for while their owner is away. In a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding on schedule, providing fresh water, cleaning litter boxes or any messes, and giving them attention through playtime, petting, or quiet companionship depending on their personality. I also make sure doors, gates, and safety areas are secure before leaving.

“This is my first time using Rover, and am blown away! Susan took the time for a meet and greet prior to our first booking. Than when we did use her we LOVED how we got all the details on her visit with our pups. Definitely will be using her regularly.”

“I recently needed a dog walker for my 4-year-old Golden Retriever, Lily, and I’m delighted to share my experience with Marcola. Living nearby was a big plus, and when I reached out to her, she promptly responded and expressed a genuine interest in meeting Lily before arranging our first walk. Marcola took the time to come over the day before to get acquainted with Lily and discuss her needs and preferences. This attention to detail made me feel confident that Lily would be in great hands. On the day of the walk, Marcola was scheduled to pick up Lily at 8:30 AM. When I noticed she was running a bit late, I reached out, and she kindly informed me she was just a few minutes behind and would extend the walk by an additional 10 minutes to compensate. She arrived at 8:50 AM, and the moment Lily saw her, her excitement was palpable! Marcola truly went above and beyond during their walk. She took Lily on a round trip close to 3 miles, which is the furthest Lily has ever walked in an hour! It was clear that Marcola loves dogs and understands their energy needs. I couldn’t be happier with the experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend Marcola to anyone looking for a dedicated and caring dog walker. Lily can’t wait for her next adventure with her!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
