“This was Sassy’s first stay with Kaylie. She did great! Kaylie communicates quickly and often. She sent pictures and a video. Even though I could see that Sassy was really happy to see me, she was also clearly very comfortable with Kaylie. Major relief! Strong recommend!”

“Samantha did a great job with Mac for a 9 day visit! He returned home healthy and happy, and she kindly provided him toys which I forgot to pack. Since she has no pets of her own, Samantha is ideal for the dog who likes to be the "only child."”

“Maggie is great! She made me feel comfortable leaving my fur baby with her for the first time ever. Now I'm booking her service for a second time. I loved how she kept me posted the whole time Archie was with her! Thank you Maggie ?”

“Quang was wonderful! I was sent pictures throughout the day of my boy! George seemed to be happy when I got him back. Quang was flexible with me when I needed George to be watched an extra day! Im so very appreciative of that! Thank you!”

“Kirstin was great!! I got great pictures & Kirstin was able to take care of my leash aggressive/defensive dog & my other anxious barky dog! Communication was great & I definitely recommend it!”
“Isabella saved our trip after our normal sitter canceled last minute (the day before our departure) and looked after our doggies with so much car. Both dogs came home tuckered out from their walks outside and slept soundly when we got home. Isabella sent photos and updates throughout our trip to ease the anxiousness of leaving out pets with a new sitter. Will definitely book again in the future.”

“Katie came home happy and healthy. She is a ball of energy so I knew that her stay with a play mate Luna and 3 kids would keep her busy. There is lots of room to run and play. Rikke kept me updated with pictures of Katie and her adventures. Will use their services again.”

“Chloe is amazing. Pictures and videos every day. We could tell that our dog was not only cared for but loved. Definitely would recommend and she will absolutely be our first choice in the future”

“Hope took wonderful care of Cedric during my 14 days trip. She is attentive and reliable, sent me pictures and updates everyday. Cedric came home happy and tired, and it was clear he was in great hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.”

“Katie was wonderful. Very quick to respond and it was so nice to get daily updates each day on how my pup was doing. I would highly recommend Katie if your pup needs a home away from home. She is also a very talented photographer. Thank you for the lovely pics!!!”

“Gabriela and Sean were amazing from the very beginning. They requested a meet and greet with their other dogs and we really appreciated it. They sent us photos throughout Jax’s entire stay and he looked happy/comfortable in each and every photo. They were super amazing about reaching out to us periodically with updates/photos. When we had some travel issues/canceled flights, they were super flexible and accommodating. They were super understanding and we felt like Jax was safe and welcome for an additional night. Thank you so much, we would absolutely recommend them to anyone! Pretty convenient proximity to SeaTac as well.”

“I originally booked boarding with Alex and Amanda for 10 days, but later switched to a shorter duration last minute. They were flexible and accommodating, which was really helpful to ease stress due to my upcoming trip. During boarding, they sent daily updates and pictures, and my pup seemed super happy while he was there. The outdoor doggy area is well kept and clean. I felt totally comfortable with them having my pup and will 100% use them again in the future.”

“Beth was a God send!! We had an unusual request requiring a super early morning drop off at the airport and she kindly did everything we needed her to without hesitation. Additionally, she took wonderful care of our dog Hana who was given plenty of attention and exercise. I got several updates throughout the day which put my worries at ease. I would highly recommend Beth for your dog sitting needs! Thanks and blessings to you Beth!!”
“Priya was flexible setting time to do the meet and greet, and with pickup/drop off times. She has a friendly puppy that got along great with mine. She was very communicative during the time my pet was with her and sent updates regularly. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I had a dog in Colombia who was part of my family for 15 wonderful years, and now I have two cats here in the United States. Caring for pets has taught me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to make animals feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I truly enjoy spending time with pets and treating them like family. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I always make sure pets receive attention, playtime, and loving care. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment for pets and always make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I understand how important routines, patience, and supervision are, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own cats.
“My dog Bruno had such a great time at Colleen’s house. She is very flexible on drop off and pick up time. She update me everyday with pictures of Bruno, I really appreciate it. Her place is clean and with fence all around. I cannot thank her enough.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Kent
Leslie was perfect! I have a senior large dog that enjoyed her stay with Leslie. My dog is not good with other animals and Leslie did a good job of following our requests to not have her around other dogs and cats. Leslie works in the office on Mondays and Fridays and prior to booking I let her know I wasn’t sure it would work because my dog can’t hold her potty more than a handful of hours in her old age, and Leslie was very flexible and accommodating and offered to bring my dog to the office with her. I got at least one or two vids/photos everyday. Her communication was always prompt and you can just tell she is very responsible. Would def book Leslie again!

Chloe was absolutely wonderful! After a previous bad boarding experience, I had a lot of anxiety about leaving my dogs, but she completely put my mind at ease. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and communicative throughout the entire stay, sending me regular photo and video updates where my pups looked like they were having the absolute best time. She effortlessly administered my dog's medication with no issues at all, and my dogs absolutely loved running around in her great backyard. I have officially found my go-to dog sitter moving forward. I cannot recommend her enough!

Jenae is a fantastic, trusted sitter. She watched our nervous, shy dog during the 4th of July weekend, and it went very well. We got regular updates, and we were comfortable and assured leaving our pup with Jenae. This was our second time booking Jenae, and we'll choose her again the next time we're out of town.

We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Gizmo was well cared for, happy, and loved while we were away. We received regular updates and had complete peace of mind the entire time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter! Booking and the drop off was super easy. Thank you!

Camille was so kind, thoughtful, and communicative. She is an experienced sitter with a lot of knowledge about dog breeds. She handled our dogs unique medications with ease and provided us regular updates of a happy, comfortable pup. We’d highly recommend her and hope to book with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
