“Quinten took such good care of our pups! Sent tons of photos and videos throughout the 5 days, and loved on them like they were his own. So glad we chose him to take great care of them!”
“Carl is an amazing sitter! Very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and I could tell our boy was very comfortable and having a great time while we were gone. Carl’s space is fantastic for any pets, our dog loved being there. I will absolutely reach out to Carl first in the future for any sitting needs.”

About: Hi , 👋 My home is conveniently located just 7 minutes from SeaTac Airport, making drop-off and pick-up easy for traveling pet parents. I have a Corgi who gets along well with other animals. Caring for pets is not just my full time work—it’s my passion. As I don’t have children, animals are a central part of my life, and every pet in my care is treated with genuine love and attention. With years of experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities, I focus on making every dog feel comfortable, happy, and secure. My home features a large fully fenced yard for supervised play and exercise. Our drop off and pick up is between 9am-9pm. Please let me know your ETA when you are on your way. Do not knock door or Ring door bell as that will upset other dogs in my house. Thank you! My house has three floors, each floor has own entrance door. if they don’t get along I can separate them. Usually I don’t crate dog unless they are destructive or not potty trained. All the dog I host requires fully vaccination. Please send me a copy of your dog’s vaccination records.
“Leah and Leio (and their kids) were so loving towards Luca and went out of their way to treat him like family during his stay :) We received updates and photos often, which we loved! When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”

“Jennifer is AMAZING! Very easy to work with, communicates well, and is flexible. She took Lola Rae on two walks a day and sent updates with pictures.”

“Sara and her family were so kind and thoughtful and were able to accommodate me and our precious kitty Papa on very short notice! This allowed us to be able to relax and focus on preparing for our trip to San Diego. She was very communicative and sent us pictures via text message of Papa every day! We really appreciated that! We had an amazing time in San Diego and were able to pick our cat up the same night after our flight arrived back in Seattle, despite it being kind of late at night! We will definitely use her services again in the future! 😊”

“Shay is kind and a great communicator. She sent pictures every day. Lily had a great time watching the birds and squirrels in Shay’s yard. I could tell Lily felt comfortable and she had such a great time, she didn’t really even want to come home!😂”

“Elise and James were wonderful! We started with a lovely meet and greet so my anxious dog could get to know them and sniff their house before staying there for a few days. And while my dog was there they gave me plenty of photos and updates as to how she was doing. Will absolutely let my pup have another vacation with Elise and James!”

“Wanqing and her husband were excellent with my pup! I am visiting from out of the area and she accepted my last minute booking as I was planning a hiking trip to Mt. Rainier (where most of the hikes are not dog friendly). She was attentive to my dog and took him on several walks and even to the dog park. She communicated well throughout the stay and sent pictures and videos! Kado left happy and tired! Will definitely rebook if I am in the area again.”

“Laila was Amazing! She shared photos and videos that made me feel so relaxed and comfortable as this was the first time I've been away from my baby. I highly recommend Laila!”

“We are so grateful to Loic and Kristen’s family for taking such great care of Bella while we were on vacation. We truly appreciated the daily pictures and videos they sent. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Jillian and her family recently watched our dogs while we were away on a two-week vacation and our dogs had a wonderful time! You can really tell she and her family love dogs - they were such loving caregivers to each of our three boys (even though our dogs have very different personalities!). I would recommend Jillian to anyone.”

“Luna and Winston had a great time with Daria. The two felt comfortable at her place from the moment they arrived. Daria updated their stay with pictures throughout the weekend — which was great seeing how relaxed they felt.”

About: I'm the person everyone in my life calls when they go out of town — not because I'm just a "dog lover," but because the people closest to me know their dog is in the best possible hands with me. That trust has been earned, and I don't take it lightly. What sets me apart is that I'm educated in dog behavior. I understand body language, breed-specific needs, and I take the time to actually learn your dog — how they communicate, and what they need to thrive. Every dog is different and I treat them that way. I have a dog of my own, so I know firsthand what it feels like to leave your dog with someone else. I understand that your dog is an extension of you, and I bring that same level of care and intention to every dog I look after. While dogs are not my full-time job, I worked for a friend’s successful dog-hiking and boarding company, and through that I gained much of my dog boarding experience. I now have a small but steady roster of my own personal clients. When you leave your dog with me, you're not just hiring a sitter — you're leaving them with someone who genuinely puts their needs. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine because I work remotely from home and I'm not tied to a desk. Your dog won't be waiting around for attention- they'll be folded right into the full, active day I already keep with my own dog, Charlie. I walk 5 miles a day, rain or shine. The only exception is extreme heat, but rain never stops us. Here's what a typical day looks like: Morning: Before I start work, the dogs get fed and then we head out for a 3-mile morning walk around the neighborhood. After the walk, they're free to burn off any remaining energy in my fully fenced backyard. Afternoon: Around 2-3pm we head out for a second walk. Evening: After dinner, we take one last short neighborhood walk before settling in for the night. In between it's all rest and play, however your dog prefers to spend it. In my experience, dogs slot right into this routine and love it - but I'm always happy to adjust based on your dog's individual needs. When your dog is in my home, they're treated like they're my own- because that's genuinely how I approach it. My backyard is fully fenced and dog-safe, free of harmful plants or obstacles, with both sunny and shaded spots so they can settle wherever they're most comfortable. Inside, there's plenty of space for your dog to spread out and make themselves at home. There's a cozy dog bed in the living room, OR room for your dog's own bed if they're more comfortable with something familiar. Beyond that, dogs are welcome on the living room couch, the loveseat in my office, the couch downstairs in the basement, and the guest bedroom. The only place that's off limits is my personal bed, but outside of that, they're free to nap and rest wherever they feel most at ease. If you prefer your dog to be crated, I'm happy to accommodate that too- whatever makes your dog feel most secure and at home. I believe dogs settle best when they feel like they belong in the space. That's the environment I try to create.
“Chantal was gentle and caring with my tiny Pom, Boba. He got some exercise and good quality outdoor time with her. She was very curious about everything Boba so that she could give him the best stay possible. Happy to have found her on Rover since she lives in my neighborhood and Boba is used to the quiet streets.”

“Samantha did a great job with Mac for a 9 day visit! He returned home healthy and happy, and she kindly provided him toys which I forgot to pack. Since she has no pets of her own, Samantha is ideal for the dog who likes to be the "only child."”

“Glad to have left my Teddy at Kristina’s care. I knew he would be well taken care of while I was away. Kristina initiated the meet-and-greet which I very much appreciated. I’m always hesitant to just drop off Teddy somewhere new without meeting first so it was cool that Teddy got to meet Kristina and family and their fur baby Luna first before spending a few nights over. Kristina kept me updated with pictures and texts. And I’m grateful she adjusted time of pick up as well. Definitely recommend Kristina to watch your fur babies.”

Ashley was so wonderful! She took such great care of our senior lab, Yogi. Communication was excellent, pickup and drop-off were seamless, and she sent sweet photos throughout his stay. It was obvious Yogi was well cared for and happy. We’d absolutely book with her again!

Isabella saved our trip after our normal sitter canceled last minute (the day before our departure) and looked after our doggies with so much car. Both dogs came home tuckered out from their walks outside and slept soundly when we got home. Isabella sent photos and updates throughout our trip to ease the anxiousness of leaving out pets with a new sitter. Will definitely book again in the future.

Katie is absolutely amazing! We were incredibly nervous about boarding our puppy, Zorro, at someone else’s house, but Katie completely put our minds at ease. She took such wonderful care of him and treated him like her own. Throughout his stay, she sent us tons of updates, pictures, and videos, which we appreciated so much. Seeing him happy and relaxed made our time away completely stress-free. If you are looking for someone who is attentive, loving, and highly communicative, especially for a young puppy, I cannot recommend Katie enough. We will absolutely be booking with her again!

Deborah gave our dog Dempsey amazing care these past 4 days. He can be a bit anxious and has some funny quirks and she really desired to understand his needs and make the new environment comfortable for him. She sent regular pictures and updates and was wonderful with communication. Thank you for the great experience.

Kizzie is always our preferred sitter for our elderly kitties, and this was our first time having our kitty Ginger boarded with her for 2 weeks, instead of drop-in visits. As always, Kizzie went above and beyond in her care, giving Ginger plenty of play time, brushies, and handling her diaper + air-out time like a pro. 🧼 We loved that she gave her yard exploration (one of her favorite things at home), was extremely thoughtful with how she introduced her own kitty Moco (while they ended up not being bffs, them being in the same room and relaxing said volumes! 💖). It's very obvious that Kizzies cares for cats in her care as if her own, down to laundering the reusable diaper covers we use for Ginger! If I could give 8 stars out of 5 I would, and absolutely recommend her every time. 😁 Thank you as always, Kizzie, appreciate you so much! 🙏🏽

Taylor was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Flossie, during an 8-night boarding stay while we were out of town in Florida. From the very first message, Taylor was kind, communicative, thoughtful, and incredibly reassuring. You can genuinely tell she has a heart for animals and creates a calm, loving environment for them. She kept us updated consistently with photos and messages throughout the trip, which gave us so much peace of mind. Flossie clearly became comfortable very quickly — cuddling on the couch, relaxing under blankets, going on walks, and getting lots of love and attention. Taylor even figured out a little trick to help with Flossie’s picky eating while away from home, and it worked perfectly! What stood out most was how attentive and caring she was. Flossie wasn’t treated like “just another dog” — she was cared for like family. Taylor was patient during the adjustment period, incredibly responsive, and made us feel completely comfortable leaving our sweet girl in her care. Her home was calm, clean, and welcoming, and I truly appreciated the individualized attention Flossie received with no other pets in the home during her stay. I would absolutely trust Taylor again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for compassionate, reliable, and genuinely loving pet care. Thank you again, Taylor, for taking such amazing care of our girl 🤍🐾

Can’t express my gratitude enough to Olivia and Jason for being so reliable helpful kind and loving with Remy! I literally gave birth this weekend and dropped off Remy who currently needs a bunch of scheduled meds and cream and cone of shame time. Felt 10000% confident that I didn’t need to worry about any of it while I had my big life event- Olivia and Jason took care of all of her needs. And Olivia even gave me some thoughtful postpartum gifts while she was at it- THANK YOU!! 🥹

Tony was great! She was close by and had a big fenced yard with no kids and no pets just like I requested. Sugaree had a rough early life that resulted in some anxiety issues. Tony knew just what to do to help her feel comfortable for a long 2 week stay. She provided updates and photos regularly so I wouldn’t worry and had no problem when I had to pick Sugaree up a bit late. Highly recommended!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
