About: I'm paw-sitively the best option, I'm not kitten around! If you choose to leave your pet with me you won't have to worry! I have had a vast array of pets since I was a young boy; cats, dogs, iguanas, even a possum and a crow at one point. Your pets care and comfort are my priority. Upon choosing me as your caretaker your pets won't feel sad to have you gone, they will be thinking "when will that one guy with the treats be here?". I have experience with puppies, kittens and dogs of all sizes. I am an elevator technician but was laid off, I'll be back to work as soon as there is more work, but until then getting paid to hang out with all sorts of animals hardly seems like work! Seems like a healthy, fun way to pass the time and make a little money on the side. A win win situation! As of now I don't do in home sitting because I own a condo, one dog is plenty here! Maybe in the future I will open this option.

About: I have had dogs of varying sizes and temperaments. from a docile Pitbull who loved to make a friend on the street to a tiny Chihuahua who is a true dog’s dog. I have gone through potty training and basic command this year with my dog, so I’m very familiar with sticking to training! That trust has been earned, and I don't take it lightly. What sets me apart is that I'm educated in dog behavior. I understand body language, breed-specific needs, and I take the time to actually learn your dog — how they communicate, and what they need to thrive. Every dog is different and I treat them that way. I have a dog of my own, so I know firsthand what it feels like to leave your dog with someone else. While dogs are not my full-time job, I worked for a friend’s successful dog-hiking and boarding company, and through that I gained much of my dog boarding experience. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine because I work remotely from home and I'm not tied to a desk. Your dog won't be waiting around for attention- they'll be folded right into the full, active day I already keep with my own dog, Charlie. I walk 5 miles a day, rain or shine. The only exception is extreme heat, but rain never stops us. Here's what a typical day looks like: Morning: Before I start work, the dogs get fed and then we head out for a 3-mile morning walk around the neighborhood. After the walk, they're free to burn off any remaining energy in my fully fenced backyard. Afternoon: Around 2-3pm we head out for a second walk. Evening: After dinner, we take one last short neighborhood walk before settling in for the night. In between it's all rest and play, however your dog prefers to spend it. In my experience, dogs slot right into this routine and love it - but I'm always happy to adjust based on your dog's individual needs. When your dog is in my home, they're treated like they're my own- because that's genuinely how I approach it. My backyard is fully fenced and dog-safe, free of harmful plants or obstacles, with both sunny and shaded spots so they can settle wherever they're most comfortable. Inside, there's plenty of space for your dog to spread out and make themselves at home. There's a cozy dog bed in the living room, OR room for your dog's own bed if they're more comfortable with something familiar. Beyond that, dogs are welcome on the living room couch, the loveseat in my office, the couch downstairs in the basement, and the guest bedroom. The only place that's off limits is my personal bed, but outside of that, they're free to nap and rest wherever they feel most at ease. If you prefer your dog to be crated, I'm happy to accommodate that too- whatever makes your dog feel most secure and at home. I believe dogs settle best when they feel like they belong in the space. That's the environment I try to create.

About: I'm paw-sitively the best option, I'm not kitten around! If you choose to leave your pet with me you won't have to worry! I have had a vast array of pets since I was a young boy; cats, dogs, iguanas, even a possum and a crow at one point. Your pets care and comfort are my priority. Upon choosing me as your caretaker your pets won't feel sad to have you gone, they will be thinking "when will that one guy with the treats be here?". I have experience with puppies, kittens and dogs of all sizes. I am an elevator technician but was laid off, I'll be back to work as soon as there is more work, but until then getting paid to hang out with all sorts of animals hardly seems like work! Seems like a healthy, fun way to pass the time and make a little money on the side. A win win situation! As of now I don't do in home sitting because I own a condo, one dog is plenty here! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! About: My 3.5 y/o corgi, Kiko, would tell you I love all dogs, almost too much. For the last 13+ years, I’ve been fortunate enough to be responsible for at least 1, and most of the time 2 dogs of my own. While I have no formal training or certifications , I’m great with puppies still learning a routine, senior dogs who need a strict routine and everyone in between. I’m a very calm human so even nervous dogs are comfortable with me. I currently work from home, so I’m really good for dogs who require a little extra attention or struggle being left alone for long periods. I have a spacious two bedroom apartment with one flight of stairs and a nice balcony/patio for bird watching and sun bathing. When Kiko is here, we go on at least 3 walks a day, weather permitting, and make regular trips to various dog parks to see his friends throughout the week. When he’s not, we’ll still walk a lot but maybe fewer dog park visits unless that’s your dog’s thing too. If the cheapest sitter you can find is what you’re looking for, I’m not your person. However, under my watch, your dog will be safe, extremely well cared for, and loved like they are my own. Your dog will get the same care if I’m at your place and I share custody of Kiko, so his presence is not always guaranteed.
