About: I’m stepping away from tech end of April to pursue my interests, and one of them is becoming a dog auntie or mom (fingers crossed!). I’ve got two wonderful older kids who’ll be at school most of the day (I share drop-offs and pick-ups with my husband), and then we’ll head to their sports in the early evening. In the day, I’ll be hitting the gym, taking walks, cooking, and diving into my hobbies. I’m usually at home most of the day unless I need to run an errand or have an appointment. I’m a friendly, tidy, and organized person who’s patient, nurturing, and loving. I live in a lovely house with a fenced yard (except for car entrance). I don’t have any pets myself, but I love helping friends with theirs. I’ve also been a temporary home for a rescue puppy while their family was away. I am leaving my full-time job and will have more free time. I typically am free after 8:30 AM M-F. Could do weekends for folks who travel if requesting in advance I have a fence yard (except for car entrance) in a dog friendly neighborhood. I have hardwood floors on my top floor, where I will be majority of the time. I don’t mind going to another home for a pick up and drop off however, I would prefer my home as I want to be able to pick up and drop off my kids when needed.

About: I’ve been fostering cats of all ages and personalities for 1 year! I have experience with potty training, oral medication and topical applications. I am a psych student and take pride in my ability to read each cat and listen to their needs :) I’m currently a college student. I am at home most evenings, and can spend time with your cat! I have the entire day available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I have a large individual room to my own, a cat tree, window planes that is a favourite for cats to watch birds on two sides, multiple litter boxes, hide-able nests and beds. WINDOWS ARE SEALED.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, from newborn puppies to senior dogs with special needs. I love playing fetch, cuddling on the couch for quiet time as well as running around together in the terraced backyard. “Donna and her husband welcomed my senior 18 year old mini schnauzer with open arms! I had to work 14 hour day, 2 days in a row, and they took care of him like they were his family. About: I have worked as a professional dog walker for 5 years. It is the best job ever. Dogs are adorable and hilarious, yes, but the part I really love is trying to understand the motivations behind each dog. I know, food and walks, duh! But since adopting my high-anxiety dog 6 years ago, I have realized there is so much more to the doggie brain. Dog park trips are like an anthropological study for me!! I like to think I'm the Jane Goodall of dogs; I'm flattered when they confuse me for one of their own. Living among the canines has come very naturally to me, and frequently worry about the diminishing appeal of the human world. My mother has legitimate concerns that I'll never find a husband. Some have called me a dog whisperer, to which I say "Have you ever met a dog that whispers?" You can think of me more like a translator. Booking with me helps fund my education so that I can one day save the world. My dream is to help troubled kids find the peace and compassion that I have found in my love for animals. I currently work from home and have open availability. If your dog cannot be left alone, they won't be. My own dog does not like to be separated from me, thus I'm comfortable arranging my life around the needs of dogs!! I use extreme care in assessing the environment to experience it the way your dog is, thus better understand behaviors and antecedent cues, and what is reinforcing the behavior.
