About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, from newborn puppies to senior dogs with special needs. I love playing fetch, cuddling on the couch for quiet time as well as running around together in the terraced backyard. About: As well as being well cared for, your dog will be engaged in an array of activities. I enjoy hiking and would love to take your dog on a jaunt through the woods. I have also had experience in dog training and have had success in teaching my last dog some useful/entertaining tricks. I provide a safe environment. There are multiple recreational parks nearby as well as a large soccer field for outdoor activities. I offer flexible hours and will be willing to work around your schedule. About: I have worked as a professional dog walker for 5 years. It is the best job ever. Dogs are adorable and hilarious, yes, but the part I really love is trying to understand the motivations behind each dog. I know, food and walks, duh! But since adopting my high-anxiety dog 6 years ago, I have realized there is so much more to the doggie brain. Dog park trips are like an anthropological study for me!! I like to think I'm the Jane Goodall of dogs; I'm flattered when they confuse me for one of their own. Living among the canines has come very naturally to me, and frequently worry about the diminishing appeal of the human world. My mother has legitimate concerns that I'll never find a husband. Some have called me a dog whisperer, to which I say "Have you ever met a dog that whispers?" You can think of me more like a translator. Booking with me helps fund my education so that I can one day save the world. My dream is to help troubled kids find the peace and compassion that I have found in my love for animals. I currently work from home and have open availability. If your dog cannot be left alone, they won't be. My own dog does not like to be separated from me, thus I'm comfortable arranging my life around the needs of dogs!! I use extreme care in assessing the environment to experience it the way your dog is, thus better understand behaviors and antecedent cues, and what is reinforcing the behavior.

About: I have had dogs of varying sizes and temperaments. from a docile Pitbull who loved to make a friend on the street to a tiny Chihuahua who is a true dog’s dog. I have gone through potty training and basic command this year with my dog, so I’m very familiar with sticking to training! I’m currently working an hybrid schedule and I have plenty of time to be your pet’s new pal! With a flexible schedule, I am able to meet the needs of many pets. Whether that’s more frequent potty breaks or going to their weekly park date. For those staying in my home, either my wife or I are usually home during the day. Our dog just vibes out wherever while we work from home. Dogs are allowed on furniture. I am all about keeping pets on their schedule as best as possible. I like continuity of what’s the norm for them. If they have strict meal and potty times I will follow them. If they love an enrichment adventure or puzzle I’ll get that all set up! I’ll take plenty of fun pictures with silly captions to keep you up to date!

About: I’m stepping away from tech end of April to pursue my interests, and one of them is becoming a dog auntie or mom (fingers crossed!). I’ve got two wonderful older kids who’ll be at school most of the day (I share drop-offs and pick-ups with my husband), and then we’ll head to their sports in the early evening. In the day, I’ll be hitting the gym, taking walks, cooking, and diving into my hobbies. I’m usually at home most of the day unless I need to run an errand or have an appointment. I’m a friendly, tidy, and organized person who’s patient, nurturing, and loving. I live in a lovely house with a fenced yard (except for car entrance). I don’t have any pets myself, but I love helping friends with theirs. I’ve also been a temporary home for a rescue puppy while their family was away. I am leaving my full-time job and will have more free time. I typically am free after 8:30 AM M-F. Could do weekends for folks who travel if requesting in advance I have a fence yard (except for car entrance) in a dog friendly neighborhood. I have hardwood floors on my top floor, where I will be majority of the time. I don’t mind going to another home for a pick up and drop off however, I would prefer my home as I want to be able to pick up and drop off my kids when needed.

About: My 3.5 y/o corgi, Kiko, would tell you I love all dogs, almost too much. For the last 13+ years, I’ve been fortunate enough to be responsible for at least 1, and most of the time 2 dogs of my own. While I have no formal training or certifications , I’m great with puppies still learning a routine, senior dogs who need a strict routine and everyone in between. I’m a very calm human so even nervous dogs are comfortable with me. I currently work from home, so I’m really good for dogs who require a little extra attention or struggle being left alone for long periods. I have a spacious two bedroom apartment with one flight of stairs and a nice balcony/patio for bird watching and sun bathing. When Kiko is here, we go on at least 3 walks a day, weather permitting, and make regular trips to various dog parks to see his friends throughout the week. When he’s not, we’ll still walk a lot but maybe fewer dog park visits unless that’s your dog’s thing too. If the cheapest sitter you can find is what you’re looking for, I’m not your person. However, under my watch, your dog will be safe, extremely well cared for, and loved like they are my own. Your dog will get the same care if I’m at your place and I share custody of Kiko, so his presence is not always guaranteed.
