About: I've been a pet care professional since 2016. It is the best job ever! Dogs are adorable and hilarious, yes, but the part I really love is trying to understand the motivations behind each dog. I know, food and walks, duh! But since adopting my high-anxiety dog 6 years ago, I have realized there is so much more to the doggie brain. Dog park trips are like an anthropological study for me!! About: My first cat was named Putty Tat and I was 6 years old. We had 17 special years together before she passed. Putty Tat let me dress her up in doll clothes and push her around in a stroller. I also taught her how to fetch and she waited for me at the bus stop every day. She even had 2 litters of kittens on me while I was sleeping! Since then I’ve had multiple cats throughout the years, both indoor and outdoor. I have a separate living room for cat friends so you know that they’re happy and safe with tons of room to play. About: Ive grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. I work a full time Monday- friday job but on my lunches I can stop by for check ins and walks and after work as well. Weekends are always open too. If doing check ins I can clean up any accidents and make sure they are fed and have water(depending on feeding schedules) and I always have local parks and routes pre planned for a good walk

Qilian provided such a safe comfortable environment for her that she settled in quickly, which has never happened before. My other dog Kikko also had an injured paw that required extra care and she went above and beyond to help take care of it. She sent sooo many pictures and updates that it felt like we were with our dogs the whole time 🥹So glad we found a great Rover that we can use from now on!”

“Leah and Leio (and their kids) were so loving towards Luca and went out of their way to treat him like family during his stay :) We received updates and photos often, which we loved! When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat!
