About: My 3.5 y/o corgi, Kiko, would tell you I love all dogs, almost too much. For the last 13+ years, I’ve been fortunate enough to be responsible for at least 1, and most of the time 2 dogs of my own. While I have no formal training or certifications , I’m great with puppies still learning a routine, senior dogs who need a strict routine and everyone in between. I’m a very calm human so even nervous dogs are comfortable with me. I currently work from home, so I’m really good for dogs who require a little extra attention or struggle being left alone for long periods. I have a spacious two bedroom apartment with one flight of stairs and a nice balcony/patio for bird watching and sun bathing. When Kiko is here, we go on at least 3 walks a day, weather permitting, and make regular trips to various dog parks to see his friends throughout the week. When he’s not, we’ll still walk a lot but maybe fewer dog park visits unless that’s your dog’s thing too. If the cheapest sitter you can find is what you’re looking for, I’m not your person. However, under my watch, your dog will be safe, extremely well cared for, and loved like they are my own. Your dog will get the same care if I’m at your place and I share custody of Kiko, so his presence is not always guaranteed.

Sofie is not usually very affectionate to people she doesn't know and it seemed like she became very comfortable in her home quickly. She even remembered the small details, I briefly mentioned that Sofie isn't a big fan of rain and while Sofie stayed with them she sent a picture of Sofie in a raincoat that Deborah had on hand! Dogs are adorable and hilarious, yes, but the part I really love is trying to understand the motivations behind each dog. I know, food and walks, duh! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, from newborn puppies to senior dogs with special needs. I love playing fetch, cuddling on the couch for quiet time as well as running around together in the terraced backyard. If you’re looking for a mini summer camp for your pup, no matter their size or age, you’ve found the right place! I work from home as an artist with 2 small dogs that love meeting new friends! About: I have had dogs of varying sizes and temperaments. from a docile Pitbull who loved to make a friend on the street to a tiny Chihuahua who is a true dog’s dog. I have gone through potty training and basic command this year with my dog, so I’m very familiar with sticking to training! While dogs are not my full-time job, I worked for a friend’s successful dog-hiking and boarding company, and through that I gained much of my dog boarding experience. When you leave your dog with me, you're not just hiring a sitter — you're leaving them with someone who genuinely puts their needs first, every time. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine because I work remotely from home and I'm not tied to a desk. Your dog won't be waiting around for attention- they'll be folded right into the full, active day I already keep with my own dog, Charlie. I walk 5 miles a day, rain or shine. The only exception is extreme heat, but rain never stops us. Here's what a typical day looks like: Morning: Before I start work, the dogs get fed and then we head out for a 3-mile morning walk around the neighborhood. After the walk, they're free to burn off any remaining energy in my fully fenced backyard. Afternoon: Around 2-3pm we head out for a second walk, usually somewhere nearby for a change of scenery and fresh sniffs. Evening: After dinner, we take one last short neighborhood walk before settling in for the night. In between it's all rest and play, however your dog prefers to spend it. In my experience, dogs slot right into this routine and love it - but I'm always happy to adjust based on your dog's individual needs. When your dog is in my home, they're treated like they're my own- because that's genuinely how I approach it. My backyard is fully fenced and dog-safe, free of harmful plants or obstacles, with both sunny and shaded spots so they can settle wherever they're most comfortable. Inside, there's plenty of space for your dog to spread out and make themselves at home. There's a cozy dog bed in the living room, OR room for your dog's own bed if they're more comfortable with something familiar. Beyond that, dogs are welcome on the living room couch, the loveseat in my office, the couch downstairs in the basement, and the guest bedroom. The only place that's off limits is my personal bed, but outside of that, they're free to nap and rest wherever they feel most at ease. If you prefer your dog to be crated, I'm happy to accommodate that too- whatever makes your dog feel most secure and at home. I believe dogs settle best when they feel like they belong in the space- not like a guest, but like they live there. That's the environment I try to create.

About: Ive grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. I work a full time Monday- friday job but on my lunches I can stop by for check ins and walks and after work as well. Weekends are always open too. If doing check ins I can clean up any accidents and make sure they are fed and have water(depending on feeding schedules) and I always have local parks and routes pre planned for a good walk

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, from newborn puppies to senior dogs with special needs. I love playing fetch, cuddling on the couch for quiet time as well as running around together in the terraced backyard. About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life and have been pet sitting for friends and family for over 7 years. I have experience with walking up to three dogs, drop ins and overnights, administering oral medications on a time sensitive schedule, and providing structure for rambunctious puppies. “Leaving my 21 month Boston with Kirsten and her family for 6 nights was my first experience of leaving my dog with anyone overnight. We have been together almost 24/7 since I got her as a puppy as I work remotely. We had a fantastic experience! At the meet and greet Kirsten made the effort to connect and relate to Lucy and invited us to experience where she would be living and playing. As well as introducing her to dogs she would be playing with. It all was very reassuring. Lucy clearly enjoyed Kirsten and her family. She was happy to be there, and it was the perfect place! About: My 3.5 y/o corgi, Kiko, would tell you I love all dogs, almost too much. For the last 13+ years, I’ve been fortunate enough to be responsible for at least 1, and most of the time 2 dogs of my own. While I have no formal training or certifications , I’m great with puppies still learning a routine, senior dogs who need a strict routine and everyone in between. I’m a very calm human so even nervous dogs are comfortable with me. I currently work from home, so I’m really good for dogs who require a little extra attention or struggle being left alone for long periods. I have a spacious two bedroom apartment with one flight of stairs and a nice balcony/patio for bird watching and sun bathing. When Kiko is here, we go on at least 3 walks a day, weather permitting, and make regular trips to various dog parks to see his friends throughout the week. When he’s not, we’ll still walk a lot but maybe fewer dog park visits unless that’s your dog’s thing too. If the cheapest sitter you can find is what you’re looking for, I’m not your person. However, under my watch, your dog will be safe, extremely well cared for, and loved like they are my own. Your dog will get the same care if I’m at your place and I share custody of Kiko, so his presence is not always guaranteed.
“Deborah was amazing! She took great care of my Sofie, taking her for walks a couple times a day, lots of play time and love. Sofie is not usually very affectionate to people she doesn't know and it seemed like she became very comfortable in her home quickly. Deborah is experienced with dogs who are not friendly with other animals which was perfect. She even remembered the small details, I briefly mentioned that Sofie isn't a big fan of rain and while Sofie stayed with them she sent a picture of Sofie in a raincoat that Deborah had on hand! So sweet 🥰 She is definitely on the top of our list of contacts for a dog sitter!”

When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”
