About: My 3.5 y/o corgi, Kiko, would tell you I love all dogs, almost too much. For the last 13+ years, I’ve been fortunate enough to be responsible for at least 1, and most of the time 2 dogs of my own. While I have no formal training or certifications , I’m great with puppies still learning a routine, senior dogs who need a strict routine and everyone in between. I’m a very calm human so even nervous dogs are comfortable with me. I currently work from home, so I’m really good for dogs who require a little extra attention or struggle being left alone for long periods. I have a spacious two bedroom apartment with one flight of stairs and a nice balcony/patio for bird watching and sun bathing. When Kiko is here, we go on at least 3 walks a day, weather permitting, and make regular trips to various dog parks to see his friends throughout the week. When he’s not, we’ll still walk a lot but maybe fewer dog park visits unless that’s your dog’s thing too. If the cheapest sitter you can find is what you’re looking for, I’m not your person. However, under my watch, your dog will be safe, extremely well cared for, and loved like they are my own. Your dog will get the same care if I’m at your place and I share custody of Kiko, so his presence is not always guaranteed.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, from newborn puppies to senior dogs with special needs. I love playing fetch, cuddling on the couch for quiet time as well as running around together in the terraced backyard. If you’re looking for a mini summer camp for your pup, no matter their size or age, you’ve found the right place! I work from home as an artist with 2 small dogs that love meeting new friends! I’m home Monday- Friday and several weekends each month. I also have a separate living room for your cat where it will have the run of the place without other pets. I don’t have children, I have dogs. They sleep in the bedroom and I take them everywhere; camping, roadtrips, and I’ve even taken them abroad with me for vacation!

About: Since being on my own, I have had some fur baby in my life. Both puppies and elders will be well loved here. We have a deep relationship with our own animals. All are fully vaccinated and attend their annual health checks. We also love on them when they ask us to, meeting their mental health needs as well. Husband is still working from home with no return to the office in sight. And we are a currently a multi-generational home. There will always be some human here to care for your furry family member. We have a huge, secure, fenced backyard and two dogs of our own. Your pup will be well exercised here and will come home exhausted (and maybe a little dirty). We also love cuddling with our fur babies, and will welcome any (reasonably sized) dogs onto our bed if that is where they feel comfortable, or we have room for a crate or any dog bed you want to bring. We feed our pooches 3x a day. But we find that most guests have a 2x per day routine, and will continue to hold your home routine. We also give oral medication to one of our pups, once a day.

“Maria & Kalyan are so sweet and incredibly accommodating. They are great with my pup and make me feel very at ease when I’m working long hours. My dog is having very structured playtime with them, going to parks, playing fetch, wrestling with their pup without the dogs getting too wild. They send updates throughout the day, I love being comfortable with who my pup is with and trust them completely. Caine loves going over to them, and I love knowing my dog is well taken care of with a couple who will treat your dog like their own. Can’t wait to use them every other week when I work! About: Very knowledgable in pet nutrition and supplement. Can advise on a special diet if needed. Can provide basic/ obidience training + bathing with trimming nails. I am a early bird with tons of energy. I start my day with walks, work in the garden till noon, clean around the yard and last walk before the sun goes down! I have a fenced backyard and a friendly lil corgi to keep your dog company. All dangerous chewables are away and all toys are out to play

About: I have worked as a professional dog walker for 5 years. It is the best job ever. Dogs are adorable and hilarious, yes, but the part I really love is trying to understand the motivations behind each dog. I know, food and walks, duh! But since adopting my high-anxiety dog 6 years ago, I have realized there is so much more to the doggie brain. Dog park trips are like an anthropological study for me!! I like to think I'm the Jane Goodall of dogs; I'm flattered when they confuse me for one of their own. Living among the canines has come very naturally to me, and frequently worry about the diminishing appeal of the human world. My mother has legitimate concerns that I'll never find a husband. Some have called me a dog whisperer, to which I say "Have you ever met a dog that whispers?" You can think of me more like a translator. Booking with me helps fund my education so that I can one day save the world. My dream is to help troubled kids find the peace and compassion that I have found in my love for animals. I currently work from home and have open availability. If your dog cannot be left alone, they won't be. My own dog does not like to be separated from me, thus I'm comfortable arranging my life around the needs of dogs!! I use extreme care in assessing the environment to experience it the way your dog is, thus better understand behaviors and antecedent cues, and what is reinforcing the behavior.

About: I've had pets since I can remember! As an animal lover, I feel lucky that I grew up in a household where we at minimum had anywhere from 1 or 3 cats and a dog. My childhood dog/best friend, Manila, of 16 years was a Golden Retriever/Rhodesian mix. She was my first best friend. Since moving to the Seattle area, I've watched dogs off and on for friends and family - offering dog walking and pet-sitting support. I enjoyed being able to do this, especially during the years I wasn't in a living situation that allowed me to adopt my own animals. I currently work from home full-time. My two small dogs and cats keep me company (but to be honest, they mostly sleep in their own beds/rooms sometimes). While I am on zooms most of the day, my schedule is very flexible and accommodates frequent potty breaks and walks during the day. We have a fully fenced-in backyard and front yard. I realized, especially with us being so close to the airport (just a short 7-minute Lyft or Uber ride), that I am ideally situated to be able to offer overnights for traveling doggie parents. I have two small dogs (Meghan and Harry) who are used to other dogs being over/around. Meghan is a chihuahua mix who may act fierce when she first meets you, but she's a big sweety who will become best of friends with her new doggy buddy after a good round of butt-smelling. We also have two cats whom I think may think of themselves as dogs (given that one is bigger than the dogs) and are unbothered by additional dog guests.
