“Maria is amazing!! Our pups got to spend the day going for walks and enjoying the company of other dogs in thr comfort of Maria's home! I think one of our dogs actually got mad that she had to leave 😉”

“Kristina is an amazing furbaby sitter, and we are so grateful for the care and attention she gives to Enzo every time he stays with her. Enzo is a regular with Kristina, which says a lot about the trust and comfort we feel leaving him in her care. She is dependable, kind, and truly treats him like family. We always appreciate the updates, love, and patience she gives him, and it gives us peace of mind knowing he is safe, happy, and well cared for. Enzo always comes home relaxed and happy, and we highly recommend Kristina to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter! 🐾”

“Shannon is a wonderful dog sitter. She’s quick to respond and was able to accommodate my unusual schedule. My dog was happy when I picked him up and I have no doubt that Shannon took wonderful care”

“Such a wonderful feeling when you finally found a great sitter for your pup! Zoie has never been this happy being away from me! It only goes to show that Daisha and Tam did a fabulous job of caring for and treating my pup like their own. I would definitely use their services again and highly recommended.”

“Jacklyn was great! Sent lots of (very cute!) pictures, walked McCoy, and made sure he got along with her own dog. McCoy was always happy to see her (and her dog) when we dropped him off. Jacklyn was also very responsive to us (e.g. when we had to modify our arrival/pick up time) which made our lives very easy.”

“This was my 1st time with Daniel & Joelle, who were very accommodating. My pup did a day long to get used to them & see if she'd be a good fit for a week upcoming boarding. Everything went well. Meelo is a very sweet old guy, which is great for my pup who's been bullied & is shy at first. Though it was her 1st day & so somewhat anxiety provoking to be left, she still seemed relaxed when I picked her up & asked everyone for scratches & pets during the day. It also seemed she took a liking to their daughter Esther:) She'll try a week there a few weeks from now.”

“Sara’s day care is like doggy Disneyland! Our boy Rajah has the best time and gets so very excited when we tell him where we’re going. We also boarder him here and everything went great. I fully trust Sara and her husband to take care of our baby anytime and for how long we need to. Thank you so much!”

“Dennis & Lynn were fantastic! They sent us updates and treated our pup so well. I’m so grateful and would definitely have them watch our dog chalupa again! Chalupa loved hanging out with y’all, thank you.”

“We recently met Cathleen while out walking our two pups, as she was walking a pack of dogs. We were so impressed with how well-behaved her pack was that we got her information. We have since used Cathleen's pet boarding (one week), daycare, and training services, and have been very satisfied. Our dogs have come home happy and more settled after time with her, and her training is calm and effective.”

“Maria and Kalyan were great! They immediately asked all of the important dog questions. They provided tons of photos updates throughout the day and used cognitive toys with Albo. You can tell they really care about your pup. We will definitely be using them for our pup in the future!”

About: Welcome to Bud’s house 🐾 This is not a “drop your dog and hope for the best” situation — this is a play, cuddle, and feel-at-home experience. I helped build a dog daycare here in Seattle, so I’ve spent years learning how dogs actually behave—who wants to play, who needs a break, and how to make sure everyone stays safe and happy. At home, we keep that same vibe—but way more personal. Our dog Bud (2 years old) is the host. He’s friendly, playful, and great with other dogs—basically the guy who makes sure everyone feels welcome. If your dog likes to play, they’ll have a blast. If they prefer to chill, we’ve got cozy spots for that too. My wife (originally from Colombia 🇨🇴) has been around dogs her whole life and brings a ton of warmth and attention to every pup that walks through the door. What your dog gets: 🐾 Supervised play (no chaos, just good energy) 🐾 A safe, calm environment 🐾 Plenty of attention, affection, and breaks when needed 🐾 A new best friend in Bud We keep things small, intentional, and stress-free—so your dog isn’t just “watched”… they’re part of the pack. Dogs basically run our schedule 😊 We walk Bud three times a day, and since we’re home most of the day, there’s always someone around for playtime, snuggles, or a quick potty break. Your dog just joins right in. In our home, dogs are part of the daily routine—not just “watched.” We provide structured care with three walks a day, supervised play, and plenty of downtime when needed. We do have a partially fenced yard, but we don’t rely on it—dogs are always supervised outside and primarily get their exercise through regular walks. Because of my daycare background, I pay close attention to each dog’s personality—whether they want to play, relax, or have their own space—and make sure everyone stays safe and comfortable.
About: I am a reliable and responsible dog parent. I love love dogs. I have been taking care of dogs for the past 10 years and I’ve always had dogs growing up. I have a terrier mix called Betty that I adopted 6 years ago during the pandemic. I work from home so she is very happy and gets lots attention and walks. I’m currently working from home so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup and give them the love and attention they need. I will take your dog on lots of walks. I have a crate for when I need to leave the dog for a short time if sitting at my home. If sitting at dogs home it will depend on the home and dog needs.
“We appreciate you so much, Finni and Sophie appreciate you caring for them. They seem to have really enjoyed their day. Thank you so much for your kindness.”

“Samantha was very kind and flexible. She watched Boo while we moved and Boo seemed to enjoy her time hanging out. We will definitely request sitting services with Samantha in the future!”
“Fantastic dog sitter. Exceeded our expectations for caring for our Senior Dog. Our dog was pampered and loved while we attended a Mariners game, and they sent pictures to us throughout the day of the our happy dog. Highly recommend.”

“t was Punky’s first day with Kelly, and she made us feel very comfortable from the very beginning. Punky is happy and tired, so we know she had a wonderful day with Kelly and her furry friends. Thank you, Kelly! We’ll see you again soon for sure.”

As of August 2026, there are 4,039 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Klahanie. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Klahanie commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
