Highly-rated overnight sitters - Sunnydale
“We are so grateful for Daisha and Tam for taking such excellent care and loving Cocoa. When we picked up Cocoa, she was clean, smells good, happy! Thank you for all the photos/updates you sent us everyday. Daisha and Tam and their clean home and beautiful big yard are just perfect!!!!”

“Tamar & Amy are awesome. It’s a family affair which is so cool to see everyone involved. All so clearly love the animals. Once I forgot food for my dog’s weekend stay and they generously offered theirs (saving me a trip home and back). We use them frequently, no complaints!”

About: My 3.5 y/o corgi, Kiko, would tell you I love all dogs, almost too much. For the last 13+ years, I’ve been fortunate enough to be responsible for at least 1, and most of the time 2 dogs of my own. While I have no formal training or certifications , I’m great with puppies still learning a routine, senior dogs who need a strict routine and everyone in between. I’m a very calm human so even nervous dogs are comfortable with me. I currently work from home, so I’m really good for dogs who require a little extra attention or struggle being left alone for long periods. I have a spacious two bedroom apartment with one flight of stairs and a nice balcony/patio for bird watching and sun bathing. When Kiko is here, we go on at least 3 walks a day, weather permitting, and make regular trips to various dog parks to see his friends throughout the week. When he’s not, we’ll still walk a lot but maybe fewer dog park visits unless that’s your dog’s thing too. If the cheapest sitter you can find is what you’re looking for, I’m not your person. However, under my watch, your dog will be safe, extremely well cared for, and loved like they are my own. Your dog will get the same care if I’m at your place and I share custody of Kiko, so his presence is not always guaranteed.
“Smokey seemed to enjoy his stay with Maria and Kalyan! In all the pictures he was smiling and the even brushed him for us (big job on a standard doodle)! Thank you for loving on our boy!”

“Maria is FANTASTIC. If you are looking for the best Pet Sitter in Seattle, you found her. Stop looking. Maria is a true dog lover. We had left our furry child with her for 16 days and we received updates, photos and videos everyday. We felt connected. We felt her love for our pup everyday. It honestly made our vacation better knowing that Wrigley was well taken care off. From our initial meet n greet to drop off and pick up, all interactions with Maria were a 10/10. We will be using her services FOREVER.”

“We loved every bit about our experience with Debra! As a first time Rover user, we wanted to find a host locally that our Molly would love… and Debra nailed it! I’m pretty sure Molly didn’t want to leave! Long walks, daily photo and video sessions, positive open communication, snuggles! We scheduled a pre-visit to get acquainted and I was so thankful we did because it made the whole experience so much less stressful. We will definitely use Debra for our next Rover stay!”

“Kirsten was terrific. Rizzo settled in and had fun with the family and the family dogs even though shy can be shy. We received ample feedback and pictures to reassure us that our pup was fine while we were on vacation.”

“Molly was great! We got plenty of updates and pictures throughout the day. One of our boys is slow to warm up and can be grumbly/barky with new people and she was very patient with him and both dogs seemed to have a great time!”

“Incredible care taker for our pups! Lindsey kept me informed and sent pictures daily. Very thankful to have found her. Her family definitely settled my nerves about going out if town!”

“Colleen and her husband were perfect. It’s clear they understand dogs and know how to make them feel comfortable. Odin enjoyed our initial visit, and when we came back two months later for the drop off it was clear he was excited and happy to be there. We will absolutely ask them to watch Odin again.”

“I cannot say enough about the wonderful care both of my kids received from KathyAnn & Craig. Being away from your babies is always difficult, but I knew they were in capable and caring hands. I received updates and pictures to remind me that the kids were on a vacation too, so I could focus on my vacation with no worries. Even when my escape-artist, ninja Polmeranian tried to cause problems, KathyAnn knew what to do, and how to handle her. ? Any directives I gave were followed to a tee, and my clingy, male Doxie even got to sleep with KathyAnn. So if that's not personal care, I don't know what qualifies! I will definitely be using KathyAnn again, if she'll have us! Lol ? ”

“Ashley is wonderful! My pup had a great time, with lots of cuddles and play time! Ashley gave daily report card updates, with great photos! She was very communicative and responsive. I can tell my pup was well-cared for! Highly recommend Ashley!”

“I’m a repeat client and always very happy with the care my pet receives! The sitter is responsible and kind. My dog feels comfortable and happy every time, and I always get updates and photos while I’m away. Highly recommend!”

“Erika is amazing! She was the first Rover we’ve ever used for our pup and she went above and beyond to keep at our minds at ease with immediate responses and tons of daily photos and updates. Erika made sure our pup was well cared for and gave her lots of attention and outside time. Erika even sent her home with an adorable bandana 💜 our pup can’t wait for her next stay at Erika’s!”

“First, logistically Samantha was awesome. She got us in last minute and was tolerant/patient as our return was delayed a few hours. For the actual dog portion, even better. Our _slightly_ neurotic dog seemed to have a great time and the pictures sent throughout the stay were so cute and made us feel at ease. We will definitely be booking again for our next trip(s).”

“Rhino enjoyed his multi-night stay with Dani. He had a lot of fun with Glacier. Dani was super nice providing updates and sending pictures of Rhino. Highly recommended for boarding.”

“Jennifer was one of the best hosts we’ve used on Rover. She was flexible and responsive when it came to organizing a meet and greet with her Junebug. She responds instantly, there’s no waiting to hear back from Jennifer. She’s got a great fenced backyard for the dogs. We will definitely rebook with her again!”

“Cynthia and Nikolas have watched Sonny multiple times, and they are wonderful! Communication, drop off, and pickup are always super easy. Sonny always has a great time!”

“Paul, was absolutely amazing! Our cat Auggie loved him. We could have had a better sitter and we will absolutely have Paul take care of our pets in the future. I highly recommend him to anyone!”

About: I have experience with big dogs, medium dogs, and small dogs. I take great care in updating my clients on what’s happening with their pets. I’m working as a substitute Paraeducator so my days can be flexible depending on circumstances. I’ve stayed overnight in peoples houses looking after their pets while also staying at their place all day I always ask clients when I visit where and when pets are allowed in certain parts of the house and yard. I want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible.
“Jon was great while we were away - we had an emergency and he made time to go over and check on the cats at an unscheduled time. He gave updates every time of what he did and sent photos. Even brought out mail in while we were away which was really appreciated.”

“We had to leave last minute for a family emergency and Ivana was super helpful, responsive, and easy going. She was able to accommodate a meet and greet prior to us leaving. She was understanding with schedule changes too. I would highly recommend Ivanna for your sitting needs.”

About: I’ve had cats since I was a little girl and have experience with watching cats of every temperament and age. From goofy cuddle-bugs to aloof and independent cats, I love them all! I have known some very picky kitties and enjoy giving them a variety of food and treats to taste. I have done drop ins, mealtimes, litter box cleaning, and overnights for varied lengths.
“Alexis and Tyler were so accommodating and patient with the overly detailed feeding instructions - a necessity due to one extra picky Bengal cat. They took quality check in photos and gave great updates. I'll absolutely seek them out first anytime I'm leaving town.”

About: Every cat is wonderfully unique, and I tailor my care to fit your kitty’s personality and needs. Whether your cat is an independent introvert who prefers quiet company or a social extrovert who loves playtime and cuddles, I adjust my approach to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy in your absence. I grew up with cats and cared for them throughout my early adult life, gaining years of hands-on experience with a variety of feline personalities and needs. Although I can no longer have cats in my home due to allergies, I truly miss their companionship and enjoy every opportunity to care for and connect with them. My goal is to provide gentle, attentive care-on your cat’s terms-so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Amy was GREAT! She was quick to respond and was let me know how things were going with my cat while I was away. I felt good knowing that my cat was being well taken care of! Thanks Amy!”

About: I am trained in animal welfare by an AZA accredited institution. I've cared for cats of all temperaments, giving appropriate distance to shy cats and providing playful or cuddly cats the attention they need. My first cat care experience came from my three pets, Moo Moo, Misha, and Dominio.
About: My family has always had dogs and over the last 10+ years I have provided care for them. I have cared for my own pets, as well as many other pets on Rover with various health needs and abilities. This includes older dogs and cats, those with health/medical issues/needs, those who need medication, as well as those with other types of support needs. I genuinely get so much joy from spending time loving on the sweet fur babies of this world and look forward to ensuring that while you are away, your fur babies feel loved and well cared for :) I am generally free Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, but may be able to make other days/times work occasionally! I often work from home Monday & Tuesday so those days can be more flexible depending on the week. I can occasionally do longer term stays (up to a few weeks), as long as there is a good set up for me to work from your home part time, so feel free to reach out about longer stays as well. I am flexible, and I prefer to hear from you about how you would like your fur baby to be cared for. I am happy to do whatever is easiest and most comfortable for you and your pet(s) :) I am very communicative, professional, respectful of your space and thoughtful in my care and won’t be afraid to ask questions and keep you updated on how things are going!
“Kevin was a pleasure to work with in taking care of my cats while I was out of town. I appreciate his thoughtfulness, excellent communication and attention to detail. Thanks, Kevin and Rover!”

“Xiaotong was great! She was very responsive and reliable. We appreciated that she was able to come for a meet and greet at the last minute and then took good care of our cats when we were gone.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Sunnydale
“Tamar and Amy have been taking care of Rollo for more than 1 year now. Our big chunky boy is the happiest boy, he enjoys every single day there. We receive daily pictures, and in each of them he has a big dumb smile on his face while playing with other dogs or enjoying long walks. We are really happy that we found Tamar and Amy. Thanks a lot for taking care of Rollo 😊”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, from newborn puppies to senior dogs with special needs. I love playing fetch, cuddling on the couch for quiet time as well as running around together in the terraced backyard. If you’re looking for a mini summer camp for your pup, no matter their size or age, you’ve found the right place! I work from home as an artist with 2 small dogs that love meeting new friends! I’m home Monday- Friday and several weekends each month. I also have a separate living room for your cat where it will have the run of the place without other pets. I don’t have children, I have dogs. They sleep in the bedroom and I take them everywhere; camping, roadtrips, and I’ve even taken them abroad with me for vacation!
“Such a wonderful feeling when you finally found a great sitter for your pup! Zoie has never been this happy being away from me! It only goes to show that Daisha and Tam did a fabulous job of caring for and treating my pup like their own. I would definitely use their services again and highly recommended.”

“Donna and her husband welcomed my senior 18 year old mini schnauzer with open arms! I had to work 14 hour day, 2 days in a row, and they took care of him like they were his family. I’ve never met such a nice sitter combo! They have a yard which my dog loved! My dog is a lot of work and they took the best care of him! Their dog mushu was the sweetest dog and played with buddy so gently. They sent many updates and pictures and videos which made me so happy and knew he was in good hands. Thank you!!!”

About: Since being on my own, I have had some fur baby in my life. Both puppies and elders will be well loved here. We have a deep relationship with our own animals. All are fully vaccinated and attend their annual health checks. We also love on them when they ask us to, meeting their mental health needs as well. Husband is still working from home with no return to the office in sight. And we are a currently a multi-generational home. There will always be some human here to care for your furry family member. We have a huge, secure, fenced backyard and two dogs of our own. Your pup will be well exercised here and will come home exhausted (and maybe a little dirty). We also love cuddling with our fur babies, and will welcome any (reasonably sized) dogs onto our bed if that is where they feel comfortable, or we have room for a crate or any dog bed you want to bring. We feed our pooches 3x a day. But we find that most guests have a 2x per day routine, and will continue to hold your home routine. We also give oral medication to one of our pups, once a day.

“Kirsten & Bear & co. have been great pals for Alora! She barely knows I'm dropping her off ? she's always a happy girl when she comes home, and we're looking forward to more stays in the near future.”

“Maria is fantastic! Marky is hesitant when it comes to interacting with people and dogs when I am not with him but Maria showed him there was nothing to fear! They take beautiful walks together, naps with his friends, and gets to play all day in a pack. He comes home tired and happy when the day is done. Maria really loves all of the dogs like her own”

“Maria & Kalyan are so sweet and incredibly accommodating. They are great with my pup and make me feel very at ease when I’m working long hours. My dog is having very structured playtime with them, going to parks, playing fetch, wrestling with their pup without the dogs getting too wild. They send updates throughout the day, I love being comfortable with who my pup is with and trust them completely. Caine loves going over to them, and I love knowing my dog is well taken care of with a couple who will treat your dog like their own. Can’t wait to use them every other week when I work! Thanks guys!!”
“Colin was an awesome sitter for my dog! Between availability, communication and care for my pup- I would highly recommend him to everyone and will definitely be setting up more visits for my boy!”

About: Very knowledgable in pet nutrition and supplement. Can advise on a special diet if needed. Can provide basic/ obidience training + bathing with trimming nails. I am a early bird with tons of energy. I start my day with walks, work in the garden till noon, clean around the yard and last walk before the sun goes down! I have a fenced backyard and a friendly lil corgi to keep your dog company. All dangerous chewables are away and all toys are out to play
“Natalie was wonderful with a first-time dog sit. She’s got a great set-up and clearly wants to make things as good for her “guests” as possible. A fully fenced yard, toys, lots of opportunity for exercise. She also sent me pictures through the day so I’d know how things were going.”

“Shannon was fantastic with my nervous rescue senior chihuahua mix. I received regular updates throughout the day, and my dog got more walks and more company/attention than if I had left her at home to work. Shannon also made sure to ask about a potential vet to contact in case of emergencies and was generally very considerate. Truly, a godsend.”

Caring for pets is not just my full time work—it’s my passion. As I don’t have children, animals are a central part of my life, and every pet in my care is treated with genuine love and attention. My home features a large fully fenced yard for supervised play and exercise. Our drop off and pick up is between 9am-9pm. Please let me know your ETA when you are on your way. Usually I don’t crate dog unless they are destructive or not potty trained. All the dog I host requires fully vaccination. Please send me a copy of your dog’s vaccination records.

Chuk is also very accommodating and easy to work with. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter!”

About: I've had pets since I can remember! As an animal lover, I feel lucky that I grew up in a household where we at minimum had anywhere from 1 or 3 cats and a dog. My childhood dog/best friend, Manila, of 16 years was a Golden Retriever/Rhodesian mix. She was my first best friend. Since moving to the Seattle area, I've watched dogs off and on for friends and family - offering dog walking and pet-sitting support. I enjoyed being able to do this, especially during the years I wasn't in a living situation that allowed me to adopt my own animals. I currently work from home full-time. My two small dogs and cats keep me company (but to be honest, they mostly sleep in their own beds/rooms sometimes). While I am on zooms most of the day, my schedule is very flexible and accommodates frequent potty breaks and walks during the day. We have a fully fenced-in backyard and front yard. I realized, especially with us being so close to the airport (just a short 7-minute Lyft or Uber ride), that I am ideally situated to be able to offer overnights for traveling doggie parents. I have two small dogs (Meghan and Harry) who are used to other dogs being over/around. Meghan is a chihuahua mix who may act fierce when she first meets you, but she's a big sweety who will become best of friends with her new doggy buddy after a good round of butt-smelling. We also have two cats whom I think may think of themselves as dogs (given that one is bigger than the dogs) and are unbothered by additional dog guests.

“Banjo’s first walk with Jeannie was a smashing success! Her updates gave us the piece of mind that he was in the best of hands during his walk. Looking forward to booking with Jeannie again.”

About: Hello! I am so excited to meet your furry friend. A lover of all animals, I have had pets my whole life (including dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and goats!) In my professional life, I have three years of experience working in a rescue setting (I understand animals from this background- shyness or aggression issues welcome), and one year of experience in a vet hospital. Aside from that, I have plenty of personal experience- with cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies. My own void kitty (black cat) is 14 years old with kitten energy and is the queen of my house. As she deals with thyroid issues, I am comfortable administrating medications. I additionally live with two sassy Shiba Inus so know how to wrestle a stubborn dog is needed! I LOVE senior animals and while I haven't given cats insulin in a long time- I am willing to relearn. Currently, I am going to school part-time, but being as my classes on online- my day is pretty flexible! I can stop by up to three times a day currently or even a full day if it's a necessity. My time with your animal is 100% with your animal- no distractions. I am willing to do whatever you need for them! Toss a ball, feed treats, talk a walk, send photos, reinforce training- you name it! I also am familiar with senior care and some special needs such as mobility assistance.
About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life and have been pet sitting for friends and family for over 7 years. I have experience with walking up to three dogs, drop ins and overnights, administering oral medications on a time sensitive schedule, and providing structure for rambunctious puppies. I love playing fetch in the yard just as much as cuddling on the couch. I look forward to meeting your fur babies! I’m currently a student taking online classes and working part time 1-2 days a week in the early morning. I have a very open and flexible schedule. I will take dogs into a fenced yard or go on walks regularly, provide enrichment with toys and treats, following mealtime schedules, and basic cleanup around the house including scooping poop in the yard.

“We had such a great booking with Tyler and Alexis! They were very communicative, prompt, and (the best metric) our pup loved them from the first meeting. She just came back from her first walk with them exhausted and very, very happy. We will definitely be booking with them again.”

“I am so glad to have found Kevin as a dog walker! He takes great care of my little dogs. Excellent communication and nice notes after each walk. I won’t hesitate to recommend him again and again!”

About: I have cared for dogs young and old, big and small, sleepy and energetic, fluffy and derpy. I'd love to hang with your pup. I spent all of 2025 using pet sitting to travel around the country and internationally, caring for 9 dogs, 14 cats, and one rabbit in the past year. I have been a dog lover ever since I first held my baby pug dog-niece, Beans, in my cupped hands. Since then, I've cared for Beans frequently, as well as for the pets of other friends and neighbors. I'm currently doing a smattering of freelance work and trying to finish my novel, so I have plenty of time to give your pet all the cuddles, pets, and walks they deserve. When pet sitting, I care for any client's home with care and respect. I do my best to follow the pet's routines to keep them as comfortable as possible. I strive to leave each home at least as clean as I found it.

“Ashley is wonderful! My pup had a great time, with lots of cuddles and play time! Ashley gave daily report card updates, with great photos! She was very communicative and responsive. I can tell my pup was well-cared for! Highly recommend Ashley!”

“Cynthia and Nikolas have watched Sonny multiple times, and they are wonderful! Communication, drop off, and pickup are always super easy. Sonny always has a great time!”

“Meg and Daniel were WONDERFUL!! I have no doubt that Nola had the very best time while in their care. They proactively read other reviews from past sitters and were ready to make my dog feel at home as soon as she arrived. Their communication was great, and I also enjoyed getting to know them during drop-off and pick-up. Any time I need a sitter moving forward, I will definitely check to see if they're available!”

“Jeremy was great. He responded quickly and was very easy to work with. Our dogs loved starting with him, returning home happy and tired! We would definitely book with Jeremy again.”
“Leah and Leio (and their kids) were so loving towards Luca and went out of their way to treat him like family during his stay :) We received updates and photos often, which we loved! When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”

“Deborah was amazing! She took great care of my Sofie, taking her for walks a couple times a day, lots of play time and love. Sofie is not usually very affectionate to people she doesn't know and it seemed like she became very comfortable in her home quickly. Deborah is experienced with dogs who are not friendly with other animals which was perfect. She even remembered the small details, I briefly mentioned that Sofie isn't a big fan of rain and while Sofie stayed with them she sent a picture of Sofie in a raincoat that Deborah had on hand! So sweet 🥰 She is definitely on the top of our list of contacts for a dog sitter!”

“Biscuit had a great stay with Elise and James. They are warm, attentive and loving. We got plenty of updates during our dog’s stay with them. Upon coming home, I could tell Biscuit was really relaxed and himself straight away, which is always a great sign. We are looking forward to Biscuit’s next stay!”

“Sara and her family were so kind and thoughtful and were able to accommodate me and our precious kitty Papa on very short notice! This allowed us to be able to relax and focus on preparing for our trip to San Diego. She was very communicative and sent us pictures via text message of Papa every day! We really appreciated that! We had an amazing time in San Diego and were able to pick our cat up the same night after our flight arrived back in Seattle, despite it being kind of late at night! We will definitely use her services again in the future! 😊”
