This is the longest we've ever left our Bengal cats for, and I felt so at ease knowing these two wonderful people were looking out for them. I know they were patient with my picky eater and were communicative about any one-off concerns (like surprise vomit). I feel so at ease with these two and recommend them highly for drop in visits, though they also offer other services.”

About: I have experience with big dogs, medium dogs, and small dogs. I take great care in updating my clients on what’s happening with their pets. I’m working as a substitute Paraeducator so my days can be flexible depending on circumstances. I’ve stayed overnight in peoples houses looking after their pets while also staying at their place all day I always ask clients when I visit where and when pets are allowed in certain parts of the house and yard. I want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible.

About: Hey my name is Atticus, I am 20 years old. I have lots of experience in communication and pet care. I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog-sat for everything from a couple of hours at a time to several days or even a week, and I’m comfortable caring for both individual dogs and households with multiple dogs. My experience includes feeding, walks, playtime, keeping up with normal routines, giving plenty of attention, and making sure pets are comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, and routine, so I take the time to learn what works best for each individual pet. I’ve also cared for cats and birds, including homes with multiple types of pets at once. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions as long as communication is clear and understand how important consistency is when someone else is responsible for your animals. Most importantly, I treat the animals I’m watching like I would want someone to treat my own. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal and their personality. My schedule can vary since I do work full time, but I will always do my best to be flexible and work around your pet’s normal routine. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, and longer stays depending on the day and what your pet needs. I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability ahead of time and make sure we have a plan that works for both you and your pets. If I’m caring for your pet, you can expect me to be reliable, on time, and keep you updated while you’re away. One of the most important parts of pet sitting to me is making sure your pet is just as comfortable with me as I am with them. Whenever possible, I strongly prefer to meet you and your dog before the first sitting session. This gives your dog a chance to meet me while you’re there, get familiar with my presence, and helps us make sure we’re a good fit before you leave them in my care. During that meeting, I also like to learn about their personality, routine, boundaries, favorite things, and anything that might make them nervous or uncomfortable. Every dog is different, and I never want to force an interaction or put an animal into a situation where they don’t feel safe. While caring for your pet, I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, feeding instructions, and any household rules you have in place. I’ll treat your home with the same respect I give your animals as well as my own, and I’m happy to provide photos and updates throughout the stay. My goal is for you to leave knowing your pet is with someone they’ve already met, are comfortable around, and can feel safe with.

I have cared for my own pets, as well as many other pets on Rover with various health needs and abilities. This includes older dogs and cats, those with health/medical issues/needs, those who need medication, as well as those with other types of support needs. About: Hi there! I've been a lifelong lover of animals all my life and am absolutely thrilled when I get to spend time around fuzzy and feathered friends. During undergrad and grad school, I looked after the beloved pets of my professors. Now, I have a dog of my own, a 4 year old border-collie mix named Kona, and adore pet sitting for friends when they're out of town. I love to hike, run, and go for walks and would be a great friend for an energetic pup, but I also love to read and cuddle with older or more relaxed friends. I have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs requiring oral and injectable medication. My dog Kona was very anxious and pulled on the lead when we first rescued him. I've learned how patience and positive reinforcement can do wonders for building a dog's confidence over time. Just like us, dogs can sometimes have bad days, but we can help support and celebrate them as they grow! I would love the opportunity to meet in person to discuss any specific needs your pet might have to ensure that they get the best care while you are away. I'm available on weekday mornings (6 am - 8 am) or evenings (6 pm onward). I have a flexible schedule on Wednesdays and can do quick 30-minute pet check-ins around the Des Moines, Burien, and White Center areas. I'm available for full day care and overnight stays on the weekends. I know that some dogs can be nervous when their human leaves and need some extra thoughtful care. I can be a calm and patient friend to them during your time away and send ample pupdates to keep you abreast of how they are doing. If I accept a full day or overnight care request, rest assured I will be home with your pup or out exploring with them the full time.

About: I have always been an animal lover. My family adopted a dog when I was 6 and ever since then I have been taking care of pets. When I was 10 years old I started taking care of my neighbors’ cats and dogs when they went on vacation. I have experience house sitting cats and dogs of a variety of ages. I love playing with young energetic dogs and cats, but I’m also down to chill with the seniors. I also have experience giving medicine to cats and dogs. With me, your pets will be in good hands! I work a full time office job. I have the flexibility to work remotely, so I can be available most days to stay and keep your pets entertained and let them out when nature calls. When I house sit, I always make sure I know the pet’s routine and follow it to the best of my ability. I check in with the owner if I have questions about the pet’s care. I always follow the rules of the house I am staying in (i.e. taking shoes off inside, staying out of rooms, etc.).

About: I’ve been a caretaker of animals for most of my life! Experience with: Puppies, Kittens, Disabled (Blind, Deaf and Amputated pets) and Senior animals. I have administered oral medication and eye drops to cats and dogs. Breeds I've taken care of: Tabbies, Domestic Shorthairs, Labs, Doodles, Golden Retriever, Shih Tzus, Terriers I am a teacher, so I have a lot of flexibility in the summer months (June 25th-August 22nd).
