About: I've owned pets my entire life, including cats and dogs. I've also taken care of other people's pets since 2019. I have experience with pets with behavioral issues as well. I can work any day at any time during the week (sun-fri) to care for your pet! I can also work evenings on Saturdays! I can clean litterboxes and play with cats, as well as walk dogs, take them outside, feed them, play with them, and put them in a crate at night if that's one if the care requirements.

I am recently retired.Have three dogs of my own am.Looking to be a pet sitter, dog walker.Anything else that could possibly be needed, not looking to board in my home yet. I do have a fenced yard front and back, but not ready to board at my home.At this time. I walk my dogs at the grand view off.Leash dog park often or I can walk your pets on leashes
“Joley is a real "dog person" who has a great way with Chipper when he get's anxious. She kept me informed of how they were doing, and was totally dependable. I was very happy to have her help!”
“Nicole was awesome in every aspect! She came over to meet our cat prior to the scheduled visits to make sure they were ok with each other. Nicole followed every instruction perfectly and was very communicative when things came up with our cat. Extremely grateful to have her care for our cat while we were away on holiday.”

“Cyndi was wonderful! I’m always nervous leaving our girls so I really appreciate her being so consistent and communicating while we were gone. She really went above and beyond for us and I can’t recommend her enough! We will 100% be rebooking her for all of our future trips.”

“Tiana was wonderful — the best cat-sitter we’ve ever had! One of our cats is very shy around strangers and she was still able to give him his pills. This was such a relief to us. She also gave our diabetic cat her shots twice a day. Tiana was very caring and reliable. She sent us updates and pictures with every visit, which we loved. And she spent time with the cats and gave them pets and did everything we could have hoped to make sure they were well taken care of.”

About: I get to care for animals everyday! I have animals of my own, their names are Noodle and Hector:) I work at a grooming salon aswell as a bather which allows me to be around animals everyday and care for them! I also have grown up around dogs and all types of animals all my life. I take care of pets everyday as in my own and also at the grooming salon I work at. I am always playing with my cats and get them to exercise on their wheel! I also bath dogs and cats daily and be able to hangout and take care of them! I will follow rules given and will care for your pet as if it is my own. I will be very aware of things going on around your animal and always give them my 110%!
About: I've dog sat for friends and family for years, walking feeding, and accompanying their pets! I have also worked professionally with dogs at a dog daycare at their big dog locations and small dog and puppies' location. I'm currently working part time, so I have a relatively flexible schedule during the week. I am always available for overnight boarding or check ins. I have my own big dog, so I am comfortable working with big dogs. I am committed to the well-being of your pet and value transparent communication with pet owners.
About: I grew up with dogs & cats my whole life, and was the kid pet sitter of our neighborhood. Now I have my own dog and bought a whole entire house by myself just so he could have a big fenced yard. He is high energy, high maintenance, anxious, quirky and yet very wonderful dog, I would die for him. That’s all important for other pet parents to know so they can trust I fully understand how much they also love their babies. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with basically strangers, and how awful it feels when a rover sitting goes south. But I also known what it’s like to have found a beloved, treasure of a regular pet sitter. I’d love to be able to be that for someone myself, or even just a safe backup option to have on speed dial with your regular sitter is unavailable. I currently work a full time in office job. I do have some remote flexibility for some occasions. My in office hours are also somewhat flexible, I normally am in the office between 9-5, but have some freedom to step out for appts or pet care mid day and return to the office. The time I need to be in the office in the morning & leave in the evenings is also somewhat flexible. But outside of work, I have an open schedule for watching pets. I am able to stay home all evening after work and all day on the weekends. I would prefer to watch/board dogs at my own home because I have my own dog to care for. But rest assured, he is a very friendly and submissive or else purely indifferent with other dogs. I have a fully fenced, secure, 8ft wood privacy fenced large yard. So your dog will also be able to run, enjoy & play with my dog in the yard. If the idea of another dog in the home worries you, I can assure you that your dog will be absolutely safe with my dog, as I worry about his safety just as much in the presence of other dogs. They would never be left alone together unsupervised. If they are playing in the yard, I will be out there with them. If I need to step out of the house for awhile, they will be left in separate areas of the house, unable to access the other. Pet parents can trust I will not take on more than I can handle, and I will be up front with anyone if I don’t feel I can handle their pets for whatever reason. The safety of my dog, myself, and other animals is my main priority.
About: I've grown up with pets my entire life, having a cat until I was 17 and helping out with dog sitting and walking for family friends. I've worked primarily with mid sized dogs, but have experience being around breeds like Great Danes and love little dogs as well! I'm currently unemployed but job searching, but that means I will have plenty of time to give lots of attention to any especially needy dogs! I have a fenced backyard with one dog. She's only 3 years old and is a rescued Rhodesian Ridgeback. She's a bit anxious at first when meeting new faces, but she loves most other dogs and will likely be very excited for a new friend! If needed for your pets nerves or your concerns I can keep them gated off from each other.
About: I’ve had a lot of exposure to animals from a young age, mainly with dogs of all ages and temperaments, but I have cared for exotic animals and understand how important their needs all are. I work totally on my own schedule as I want but don’t have a strict schedule, making it easier to take care of animals. My schedule is not set in any way. Typically I care for them based on the request of the owner within reason, but I tend to give them as much attention and love as they need. I want them to feel loved. For visits and walks I try to be encouraging and go at the animal’s pace.
“Mary is the best!!! She’s extremely conscientious about caring for our cats and birds. I’ve hired her many times now and never worry about our house and pets when we’re away.”

About: I have grown up with dogs in the family my whole life of all sizes and breeds. I currently have a small Yorkie who I’ve had since she was 8 weeks old. I’ve always pet-sat and cared for friends dogs over the years as well. I am currently on maternity leave from my job as a flight attendant so I have plenty time for walks and drop-ins to make sure your pet is taken care of. I am currently available weekdays and most weekends! I take my Yorkie, Lulu, on walks most days. I truly enjoy it and look forward to doing the same for your fur baby! Whether they need a brisk walk or just a stroll through the neighborhood, I tailor the walk to your dog’s needs.
About: I have an uncanny knack with our furry friends. It has to be something innate within ourselves to provide such everlasting love and care. In reciprocity, our best friends provide the exact same love and care. My schedule is pretty flexible as of now. Which means I can spend awesome quality time with your best furry pals! I am always in communication with clients if my schedule or ya'll schedule changes suddenly. Taking care of your beloved pets is on a client to client basis until we get to know each other, the human let's me know all of the quirks or lack there of.

About: I have watched many of my family and friend's dogs and have always had a dog of my own. I grew up with dogs and have cared for many types, different/sensitive eating patterns, and different temperaments. I typically stay at family/friends homes while watching dogs and can care for plants and take care of the home as well. I am responsible, clean, love to walk and play, and show love to all my furry friends. I will make sure they are fed correctly, walked and excercised, get in play time and snuggle time, and spoil them as I would my own. I am a serious animal lover and enjoy spending quality time with animals! I will make anu furrry child feel at home and comfortable while their parents are away.

Megan is a dependable and trustworthy cat sitter that we continue to reach out to each time we go out of town. Communication is excellent, our home is respected, and our kitty cat is always in great spirits when we return. You should have zero hesitation when booking Megan - she’s the best.

Eileen communicated all steps in her visit, letting us know how the kitties were doing and complete with pictures! It is evident our kitties like Eileen since they posed very well. I will definitely request her services in the future when we require a reliable pet sitter.

Taylor was great! We had a last minute addition to our family who also had kittens right before our trip, Taylor was very flexible and helpful adding more visits each day and communicating with us to keep us updated on the kittens. We can’t thank her enough! And definitely appreciate the attention she gives to all of our cats!

This is my second time using Rover’s pet‑sitting services, and both times I chose Stephanie. She takes such wonderful care of Wilson. From the photos and updates she sends, I can tell Wilson feels comfortable, happy, and well‑loved while I’m away. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she’s in such good hands. I’ll definitely continue booking with her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
