About: I’ve grown up around dogs and animals my entire life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. My family has owned and cared for a large number of dogs, ranging from small French Bulldogs to large Caucasian Shepherds, so I’m comfortable with both small and giant breeds and understand that every dog has different needs and temperaments. I also have experience caring for dogs with different activity levels and medical needs. One of the families I regularly house-sit for has a young German Shepherd and a 13-year-old Labrador with breathing issues. While caring for them, I handled their daily routines, including morning walks, exercise, feeding, companionship, and making sure their individual needs were met. My mom has also worked as a veterinary technician and spent approximately five years working with police K-9s through the Everett Detective Department. Growing up around her work has given me extensive exposure to professional dog handling, training, animal behavior, medications, and veterinary care. I’ve been around many different cats and dogs through her work, including animals ranging from extremely friendly to fearful or reactive. Because of this background, I’m comfortable around dogs that are energetic, large, shy, senior, or have unique routines. I’m patient and attentive, and I take the time to learn each pet’s personality and follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I treat every animal in my care as an individual and want both the pet and their owner to feel safe and comfortable while they’re apart. I’m a college student taking classes online, which gives me a 100% flexible schedule for pet care throughout the week. I’m available for just about anything you, or you pet may need! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medication, and any special needs. I’m comfortable with crate routines and caring for dogs with different temperaments and energy levels. At my home I have a fully fenced yard. I also have 1 small dog of my own who can either keep your dog company or be put away for safety! For house sitting and drop-ins, I treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own, while keeping your pet safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: I've grown up with pets my entire life, having a cat until I was 17 and helping out with dog sitting and walking for family friends. I've worked primarily with mid sized dogs, but have experience being around breeds like Great Danes and love little dogs as well! I'm currently unemployed but job searching, but that means I will have plenty of time to give lots of attention to any especially needy dogs! I have a fenced backyard with one dog. She's only 3 years old and is a rescued Rhodesian Ridgeback. She's a bit anxious at first when meeting new faces, but she loves most other dogs and will likely be very excited for a new friend! If needed for your pets nerves or your concerns I can keep them gated off from each other.

About: I grew up with dogs & cats my whole life, and was the kid pet sitter of our neighborhood. Now I have my own dog and bought a whole entire house by myself just so he could have a big fenced yard. He is high energy, high maintenance, anxious, quirky and yet very wonderful dog, I would die for him. That’s all important for other pet parents to know so they can trust I fully understand how much they also love their babies. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with basically strangers, and how awful it feels when a rover sitting goes south. But I also known what it’s like to have found a beloved, treasure of a regular pet sitter. I’d love to be able to be that for someone myself, or even just a safe backup option to have on speed dial with your regular sitter is unavailable. I currently work a full time in office job. I do have some remote flexibility for some occasions. My in office hours are also somewhat flexible, I normally am in the office between 9-5, but have some freedom to step out for appts or pet care mid day and return to the office. The time I need to be in the office in the morning & leave in the evenings is also somewhat flexible. But outside of work, I have an open schedule for watching pets. I am able to stay home all evening after work and all day on the weekends. I would prefer to watch/board dogs at my own home because I have my own dog to care for. But rest assured, he is a very friendly and submissive or else purely indifferent with other dogs. I have a fully fenced, secure, 8ft wood privacy fenced large yard. So your dog will also be able to run, enjoy & play with my dog in the yard. If the idea of another dog in the home worries you, I can assure you that your dog will be absolutely safe with my dog, as I worry about his safety just as much in the presence of other dogs. They would never be left alone together unsupervised. If they are playing in the yard, I will be out there with them. If I need to step out of the house for awhile, they will be left in separate areas of the house, unable to access the other. Pet parents can trust I will not take on more than I can handle, and I will be up front with anyone if I don’t feel I can handle their pets for whatever reason. The safety of my dog, myself, and other animals is my main priority.

About: I’ve had a lot of exposure to animals from a young age, mainly with dogs of all ages and temperaments, but I have cared for exotic animals and understand how important their needs all are. I work totally on my own schedule as I want but don’t have a strict schedule, making it easier to take care of animals. My schedule is not set in any way. Typically I care for them based on the request of the owner within reason, but I tend to give them as much attention and love as they need. I want them to feel loved. For visits and walks I try to be encouraging and go at the animal’s pace.

About: I've been an animal lover since I was young.I have three dogs of my own.Which two of them were fosters that I ended up adopting?And one I adopted from texas, I have fostered many dogs and found them great homes from texas and california, mainly they keep in touch with them.I get to keep watching them.But the last foster that I adopted doesn't really want another dog here.She's okay with it, but I really have to watch her so I think it's not time for her to have any more fosters yet.So I would like to help others with their dogs or cats. About: I have a 12-year-old cat that I have had since he was a kitten. Previously, I have also had a French bulldog that needed special care so I have experience caring for more needy animals as well. I work full-time from home. My job gives me the flexibility to step away and go for a walk along the waterfront or in your neighborhood. I am home a majority of the day and week so your pet is in good hands. I am very passionate about animals, and I believe that we need them more than they need us. I live directly on the waterfront with a huge beach and shared yard for your dog to play in. About: Hello, my name is Liv, and I am a long time caregiver of animals. I have always understood animals better than people-- which is fine by me! Over the years, I have volunteered for wildlife rescues, shelters in my hometown in Montana; I have also fostered, rescued and secured homes for many creatures great and small here in Washington. I have been training and caring for dogs for fun and professionally for a little over 10 years. I'm happy to provide referrals from local petsitting clients upon request. I have a great deal of experience with senior animals, and I am very comfortable administering medications and changing diapers, puppy pads, etc. I also have experience with exotics like birds, snakes, fish, bunnies, and chickens(I have 6 chickens). I grew up in a rural area around horses and lots of other kinds of animals. Care policies: -For my safety, I will ONLY serve clients that have booked a meet and greet. This ensures we can both decide if your pets and I are a good fit. -Any additional animals that I am caring for MUST be disclosed before a booking(fish, amphibians, snakes, chickens, etc) I am comfortable with exotics and birds, but I will need to incorporate these into my billing structure. -owners must supply all pet necessities like doggy bags, food, and medications prior to the booking for the entire duration of any housesitting or boarding. -Cameras indoors must be disclosed as per Rover's policy and WA state two-way recording consent law. For my privacy and safety I cover any indoor cameras when I am present. I will always uncover upon leaving a property as I understand the value of security systems. I am also happy to notify you when I am entering or leaving for any extended periods for your peace of mind. -30 minute Drop ins with more than a 20 minute travel time are booked the full hour. I run a local business and a non profit. I am usually able to be fairly flexible with scheduling, but I do have a part time day job. I typically try to provide a lot of enrichment time beyond just walks so your pup or cat feels tired and well socialized when I leave your place. This can include games, fetch, or puzzles, working through any basic commands they know to make their brains work, and for cats I like to make sure they get out their "hunting" so they can sleep that 16 hours the rest of the day. I am not able to facilitate outings to offleash dog parks due to the liability risk-- Dog parks present high rates of bites and other injuries and illnesses. I have a dog-friendly, modern vehicle equipped with front and rear dash cams. If you would like your dog to accompany me on appropriate outings or take them to a pedestrian friendly park or trail, I am typically more happy to oblige. I will never leave a dog unattended in a vehicle or in public. I will never introduce a dog to other dogs or allow greetings with other animals without consent of owners. If your dog is afraid of specific things like cars, bicycles, or large dogs, this must be disclosed. I am very familiar with dog health, behavior, many different breed profiles, and aggressive/nervous body language. If I notice any health concerns or behaviors that were not discussed or noticeable during conversations or a meet and greet, I will always check in with you. I'm always happy to send pictures and video. I offer boarding on a case by case basis if your dog is a good fit for my household. My yard is fenced, my dog can be kept separate, and we have an excellent trail nearby.
